The staff was excellent, very smart, friendly, helpful/capable and accommodating. And quick with excellent service, referrals, directions. Anticipated our needs, created trust and a relationship. The property is clean and modern, even as the decor theme references older printing press publications. Clever decoration. The breakfast was so good with many choices, diverse and delicious food items. The location was very convenient to the museums, restaurants and points of interest we were interested in touring.

Shower water leaked out under the shower door onto the floor in front of the vanity and sink, then further shedding into entry hall to the room. Could have been a slip and fall hazard, very worrisome and dangerous. We notified management, hopefully they fix this.

The location is central, decoration of both room and hotel is marvelous and with good taste. Staff was very good, Room was very comfortable.

Only the outside of the hotel. The whole street is under construction, but also there was a lot of dirt. I see it as also the hotel responsibility to work it out with the authorities.

Wonderful convenient tourist location, quiet, clean, updated, very comfortable and safe, close to tram stops, as well as easy walking distance to many sites. Excellent breakfast, bar, and restaurant. Friendly, helpful service. I would definitely stay again!

Wish it was not quite as expensive.

The facility is good, very modern and cozy. What we liked: - High ceiling in our room, it added extra dimension to our experience - Cool design with a wall filled with catchy phrases - Very good shower and bath amenities - Comfortable bed - AC was good - Very nice selection of teas and coffee + refillable water

What we don't like: - Not sure about the layout of the furniture, feels that it was slightly small for 2 pax (with 26 sq m you can do much more!) - Cleaning schedule was tricky, once you miss it in the morning, it was hard to ask to clean the room in the afternoon. Once we had to wait for an hour in a lobby, while the receptionist lady was clarifying that "the cleaners have not left".

The hotel team was amazing! Very welcoming. We got our room before the specified time and they even left us a surprise in the room of balloons and chocolates especially for the birthday, no extra cost. Every morning they tidied up the room perfectly. Everything was clean and every request on our part, such as an iron for example, was answered positively and carried out quickly.

The hotel is very beautiful and well designd but the outer road is undergoing renovation works and there are many unclean and fenced areas. This is out of the hotel's control...

The location of the hotel was excellent (just a 7 minute walk from the main train station) although currently the road outside is under construction and there is rubbish strewn everywhere which is a shame. The beds were extremely comfortable and though the room was fairly small, this was expected, the room had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay; opening window, coffee machine and good shower with toiletries. The breakfast was excellent - lots of quality food and drink choices and the drinks in the bar were good too, the bar staff were fantastic and make a top notch Negroni.

We found some of the staff to be excellent, helpful and very friendly though a couple not so much which was disappointing, also the card swipe on arrival did not allow for us to have drinks in the bar and charge to the room which though not a real problem would have been more convenient if this process worked correctly. Also I had emailed the hotel in advance to make a reservation for dinner which was not replied to and when we tried to book were told the restaurant was full both weekend nights, although we were able to take a late table thankfully, response to in advance emails would be appreciated or at least not to be made to feel bad for asking the question.

The hotel is in a fantastic position. 10 minute walk from the Centraal Train station, and a few minutes walk to either Dam Square and also to the beautiful Jordaan district. The staff on arrival were brilliant and could not do enough for us. We were given great recommendations for restaurants and cocktail bars nearby. The room was impeccable, clean with a really nice feel to it. Staff had made the room extra special for my wife’s 40th birthday.

We really loved the decor and location. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Lovely room that was clean and bright. We really liked the daily bottles of water and coffee pods are always a plus. Everything was very well explained to us at check in. We didn’t have breakfast as part of our stay package but it was no problem to attend breakfast, which was very tasty and charge the room. We would definitely stay again.

The fridge in the room really didn’t keep any of the bottles of water we bought cold at all which was a little disappointing but nothing major to moan about. We really did love our stay but there was just one small disappointment with our immediate impression; As a married gay male couple, whilst checking us in the gentleman pointed out that we had “booked a king room and would we like to change that to a twin”! It’s not a major thing and I’m sure the gentleman meant no bad will at all but I felt he could have either not mentioned that at all (it is 2022!!!) or worded it differently by saying “we have you booked for a king room, that’s correct?”, would have been a better approach and although we didn’t take offence, it was a little uncomfortable.

Great central loctaion, very easy for the train to and from the airport. Staff very friendly. Reall tasty breakfast. Great selection of complimentary a la carte and buffet options. Map mural on the bedroom wall was really useful!

Arrived early so room understandably wasn't ready but we were checked in to 'save time later'. When we came back later we ended up doing the whole thing again. Mini-bar promotional upgrade had been missed as bar wasn't stocked but this was quickly corrected.

Amazing location, near everything. Comfortable beds and large room compared to other places I visited. The staff were very attentive, giving high importance to every request I had. Rooms were very clean and service was on time each day.

The AC in two of the rooms didn’t work. It’s not a huge issue because the weather is pretty chill, but could present a bigger issue in the highs of summer.
