Everything was well. Not perfect, but well. Not a usual glass door without a latch. It is not a disadvantage, but not habitually. Open the window is not possible, but it is not a disadvantage too, because ventilation is sufficient.

There were not a sufficient amount of waiters in the restaurant. They didn't rest, but the service was not as in the four-star hotel. Waiters need support or else a minimum of one colleague or control of the administrator.

We booked the room for my birthday. So when we arrived, we were upgraded to a better suite, so we ended up on the top floor. The suite is spacious and has a beautiful view over the canal. We were with our two small dogs, so safe to say, the hotel is definitely pet friendly. The good thing about the location is that even though it wasn't in the centre, the metro station is across from the hotel to get to almost anywhere in Amsterdam in 20 minutes. Overall, excellent hotel and an incredible experience.

The hotel is very close to the airport but also close to the city - I used a rented car (in 15 min I was anywhere I wanted to go) but it was right next to the train station for easy transportation (my son used it). I loved that the hotel was not in a very busy neighbourhood as I could find a lot of space outside to park (parking in a nightmare in Amesterdam). The staff were amazing - specifically I needed some emails printed and they were very accommodating and fast. Furthermore - the reason I was in Amesterdam was to set up my son for university - I ended up with a lot of cardboard boxes in the hotel - upon my request for recycling the staff were amazing; helping me by collecting them and putting them in the crasher. In addition, the hotel ticked all the important boxes (for me), for example excellent wifi, comfortable and clean rooms, hot water with pressure.

The hotel is next to a small train station that we used to travel everywhere. The staff working at the front desk were very helpful.

The room was very small for 5 nights at 2000 euros. 3 people could not move around together. The shower always leaked water even with the glass door shut. We could not use the overhead shower, we had to use the small shower head so the water would not leak out under the shower door. There are no stores around, so we had to buy snacks and stuff before we came back from the city center. There are some snacks and beverages at the hotel, however, they are very expensive. Breakfast was not that good. It's edible but too expensive for what it is. Not what I expected from a 4-star hotel.

Very modern, nice room at top floor with a beautiful panorama.

The toilet was clogged and we couldn’t flush it properly. Fortunately after informed reception the handyman came in less than 10 minutes and fixed it. In the mornings was quite of a wait to get the elevators, as everyone was going for breakfast. The receptionist who checked us in tried to push it hard on us to buy the parking with the hotel. Parking somewhere else the result will be “broken windows in broad day light as this happened yesterday” he said. Of course we didn’t buy it and got very convenient parking, close to the hotel at lower price. Windows couldn’t be open by design. So no fresh air in the room.

Size of the room is good, location is great it is about 9 minutes to downtown by train through Overamstel station right in front of the hotel (2-3 minutes walk). Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is no varieties in breakfast buffet, we spent 6 days in hotel with almost no change in dishes. Also downside of having metro station right in front of the hotel the noises of the trains passing can be heard all day long as the walls not that sound-proof, noises are not that loud, light-headed people might be annoyed by this, but we did not have issue as we were going to bed so tired after long day of activities. The elevators have weird and inconvenient programming, people might spend some time to reach to their rooms specially if the hotel is fully booked or there are business events being held.

Rooms are well , clean and comfortable. Our room was at 11th floor and had a nice rivre view. Bath is clean. Reception is helpful . Even the period we stayed is a busy time breakfast are is big enough and did not await to find a table and breakfast is more than great. Bar and relaxing are is nice . Trains station to city center is just across the street and easy to use.

Elevators are a bit complex, you need to await more to reach your desired floow or lobby. I parked my car next to Hotel and thought that is parking area but the next day found a parking ticket with 72 € . Reception may inform the gusets more clear about parking instructions.

Location cannot be any better, It was my first time to Amsterdam with two teens and I was delighted to see that Hotel was just across the road as soon as we came out of Overamstel Metro station, just 10 minutes from central station. Room was deluxe triple room, I had requested for three single beds and time of arrival was around 11:00. our room was ready for check in when we arrived which I really appreciated. For three adults , room was spacious enough and city view gave it open feel. It was exceptionally clean and beds were very comfy. very quiet at night as well.

only thing which has confused me is city Tax, I thought city tax was included in my original booking (my booking details showed 9%VAT and 7%City Tax included) but I was asked to pay city tax at the desk at the time of check in so I still need to clarify it.

The room was fine if a little small, the quirky side of the bathroom door being a sliding frosted door, was more about fitting in, would have been better to access from another point, but then you lost the cupboard space. Room was cleaned as planned and beds changed as planned within their Covid requirements, this didn't bother us. Reception team were excellent, very helpful and informative, bar staff really good even when under pressure. At breakfast lots of choice and was excellent, especially when full due to an event the team were always smiling.

Well as mentioned we did not think the frosted door to the bathroom was great. There was rubbish outside our room on the floot every day, so it did not look like the cleaner had vacuumed the hall at all. Also really enjoyed the theatre cooking for omeletes but the chef went missing for long periods meaning people were waiting or even gave up! Also, if the restaurant is full, then it would be good for the front of house to hold people back, as it meant waiting and standing around in the restaurant for a table to be free and then your up against others waiting also!

Great location, right on the tube station, 10 min to Central Station/city centre. Friendly and serviceminded crew, even at busy times. We paid a bit for an upgrade to a bigger room on the top floor and this was spacious and had a great view. Almost a 100% soundproof, did not hear any neighbours or noise from the outside. We got good value for the money here, and did not regret choosing an hotel a bit out of city centre that had a better price and was fresh, new and had all we needed for a great stay. Restaurant & Bar and a small selfservice 24/7 kiosk/shop in the reception. One tips to bring on is that to get to and from the airport you can go by train to the Rai or the Zuid/South station and there change to the tube no 51 towards Central Station - and get off at the Overamstel station and you will see the hotel right there. Same for return, except then choose the no 51 towards Isolatorweg and change to train to Schiphol on Rai or Zuid. However, we found out after returning home, that a taxi is the same price as 2 persons by tube/train to the airport, paid by visa «tap». So the trainride of 2 stops was not a cheap solution✔️😊
