The breakfast - Tazzina Espresso e Panini location was great as it was nice and close. The only thing we were a wee bit disappointed in was that the staff at Tazzina’s were not really engaging or warm. They were professional and the breakfast was delicious (although exactly the same each day), they did not greet you or ask you if you needed anything else or how the breakfast was or any other engagement. It was not a deal breaker at all, just kinda disappointing as every other restaurant or cafe we went to was different in that regard.

The room was lovely, although a wee bit smaller than expected from the pictures. However, Isabel’s son was very nice and checked in on us as well as giving us some recommendations. He was helpful, personable and friendly.

Had cards for a great breakfast at a nearby café. The location is close to the city center, just a 15-minute walk from the railway station, yet still fairly quiet. Check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly. The room was charming, located in a traditional house with wooden beams and narrow, winding staircases. There were such wonderful additions as soda maker, coffee maker, some tea and coffee pads.

One thing to note: there wasn’t anywhere to dry towels except for a bathroom door hook. A rack by the window would have been nice, as the bathroom’s tiny exhaust didn’t do much for the humidity. Having a way to dry them off would be a great addition.

Everything was absolutely fine.... Isabel and them paid lots of attention to detail. So there is nothing missing in that cute little room. All the attractions are in walking distance, and the neighbourhood itself has already a lot of charme, which you experience at least once a day when going for breakfast in a nearby cafe. That's included in your booking as well as a bottle of wine ... very nice gesture (even though we don't drink)

The location was excellent. We also appreciate them letting us drop off our luggage until the room was ready. We appreciate them arranging the taxi to the airport, as our taxi from the cruise terminal had a difficult time finding the location and drove quite awhile looking, even though it was a 20-25 minute walk. All in all, we'd stay again!

As far as the breakfast, we did not care any of the food offered with the exception of the croissant. Thankfully there was a market with a basket just around the corner, so we had better success going there.

The location was in a lovely, quiet residential area in the Northwest part of Amsterdam, just a few minutes walk to the Centraal Station or to Anne Frank House. It is a second-floor apartment with windows that open into a narrow space open to a nearby canal. While there really isn't much of a view, opening the windows did let us hear the birds and let in some wonderful fresh air. The apartment is very cozy and well-equipped, and the shower was particularly satisfying. We were only in Amsterdam for a few days, but this location is perfect for exploring the city all day, knowing you have a quiet retreat to get back to! Our Host was wonderful, also - when we initially had trouble with the electronic front door lock, they answered their phone (in the middle of dinner out!) and patiently explained how to access the property properly. We would certainly stay here again on a longer trip!

The apartment is on the second floor, reached by a set of narrow, steep stairs. While this is VERY typical of many Amsterdam apartments, you do still have to be careful navigating them with larger bags!

We had a lovely holiday here. Isabel and her family are kind and welcoming and we had everything we needed in the room. The property was well-equipped, there are a lot of kitchenette amenities that we were happy to have for our stay. Everything was really clean and comfortable as well. The location here was also perfect, away from the chaos of the city centrum but still easy enough to walk anywhere in a few minutes.

The location is so great, a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal to a lively part of Jordaan, with great food spots, cafes (we highly recommend Small World Catering!) and public transport always not too far way. We came for a conference, so found we could walk to many venues and easily navigate to the city centre and other locations for city exploring. The room was easy to find and access, very clean and organised, a larger room than expected with a great kitchenette and separate bathroom. Plenty of room for luggage etc. It was nice to be able to make our own cups of tea in the morning! We found the bed very comfortable and large, a real pleasure to sleep in! Isabel was helpful with our questions too! We appreciated the included breakfast (which was a nice surprise), though we couldn't go everyday due to our very busy schedule. You definitely feel more like a local staying here! :)

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and as I said above, the bed was soooo comfortable! But as it's a traditional Amsterdam style building, you do hear quite a bit from the stairwell (especially if they're cleaning the other room across from you), so better suited for people on the move earlier (not having late nights like we had). Also, the central heating wasn't as warm as we're used to and you can't control it in the room, so we found it a bit cold at night/overnight and we couldn't dry our clothes (from the rain) or towels on the heaters. Though you do get extra towels to use. Recommend to wear warmer PJs if you come in the colder months.

After a very warm welcome we discovered a very nice appartment, hyper clean and very fonctional. Perfectly equiped and, we can say, over expectation for a B&B; there is a small kitchen in which you can warm up simple food. Around the place, there are nice store where it is possible to buy good food for a reasonnable price. This is interesing because the restaurants around are expensive and the quality not at the level of the price. Let's come back to the appartment, very well located, nice and convinient bathroom very generous in towels, the TV is connected with NETFLIX (After a full day walking in the city it can be interesting!), and, cherry on the cake, a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridg offered by Mercedes as welcome gift. Conclusion, we do recommand this appartment. Patrick and Vew Ling

Nothing to complain about the Mercedes B&B, really, it was perfect!

The location was absolutely perfect. Everything important for us was nearby. Beautiful canal sights just few meters away. We bought our breakfast from bakery (40-50 m away) and Albert Heijn -supermarket (50-60 m away), Many restaurants and pubs were really near (for example great Italian restaurant Lucca Due about 120-150 m away). Everything was reachable by foot. There were in the room: mini fridge, microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine and coffee, plates, glasses, cups, forks, knives... and a bottle of cava! And our hosts were great!

We liked everything.

The location of the cafe was good. It was close by, about a 5-7 minute walk from the room. The food was good and the cafe was quaint. The B&B host was gracious and worked with our tight schedule on arrival day. She suggested and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport when we were working out the departure schedule, which was starting super early in the morning. I recommend Mercedes B&B.
