We enjoyed our two nights with Hotel 't Gemeentehuis. Check in procedure was very smooth and the gentleman was really nice and helpful! Breakfast was definitely more than enough and had some choices of bread and cakes. The ladies who worked at the breakfast area were very friendly and carried nice smile. Room was clean and big although it was a bit old fashioned. Location was pretty good a d very convenient. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Love this little town and the accomodation lighted up our trip ! Thank you so much !

Ate at the hotel 2 nights.Good and service very good food .Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice , very fresh and substantial. The staff were all great ,very helpful and friendly

Nothing really ,we really enjoyed out stay.The hotel is very old and quite quirky but very comfortable a great base for our trip

the village and the location of the hotel close to a canal are great. it is not far from Groningen and easy to get to. the adjoining pub and restaurant are great and popular.

as the hotel was fully booked during most of our stay, we had a room facing the back, which was okay but had no view at all. fortunately in our last night we were able to move to a canal facing room which is more luminous and has a view. superb!

The hotelrooms are clean. The breakfastroom is very beautiful. The breakfast was also nice. The food of the restaurant in the evening is not so good.

Its more or less without salt and pepper. The salat was without dressing and the fish was without cross skin. For that, the Restaurant is to expansive

I knowthe hotelfrom my childhood andthis was the first time to stay here. The restaurant is a social place, really Dutch style. Reakfast was ok, nothing special.

Rooms are a bit small and basic. Just for.sleeping. Parking near hotel is limited

Breakfast was simple, but good quality and fresh. Glutenfree request was very well followed up on. The building is old, 200 Years, former town-hall. Very charming but can use some more upgrades, looks like that was in progress.

Perhaps a bit more choice at breakfast but considering the scale of the (modest) hotel that might be challenging.

The hotel was in the centre of the village. A bus stop to Groningen city was 5 min walk away. The hotel had a restaurant, very busy with locals as well, food lovely. The room was adequate, clean and breakfast was abundant. Staff was excellent.

The building is a older one, but very nice maintained an clean. We had a best stay there!

The lot of thinks, which are storaged on the way to the first floor, where the rooms were. No chance for people on rolling chairs to achieve the rooms! A remarc on this is missing on the site.

All was great.

The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was no balcony as I had had one last time I was there. However I realize I should have asked for it too.

Clean, comfortable room in an old classic building

It would be nicer to have some hanging places for towels in the bathroom. But in general all conditions are good for a comfortable stay
