The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the major scenery area of Giethoorn. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. It seems the hotel was renovated recently. The bathroom utensils are of famous brand. The hotel is a 2-storey building with rooms at the upper floor and a restaurant at the lower. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is good with many choices, the dinner is delicious. The owner of the hotel is kind and helpful. He introduced us the scenery areas worth visiting and showed us the routes to them. When he Knew that we had to catch up the train at Steenwijk to airport in the morning of check out, he offered us a drive to Steenwijk train station. What a kind host!

location is great, breakfast is good but not many options. our family has 4, had to book one 3 person room and 2 person room, but that 3 person's room has enough space, if owner can rearrange the layout, it could be more efficient for 4 person family. we had dinner in facility, it is really good, and I noticed a lot dinner customers are locals, atmosphere is good.

We booked this B&B for our two-nights stay in Giethoorn and we were pleasantly surprised. We unfortunately arrived much later than anticipated due to public transport failure, but the hosts were understanding and welcoming despite us arriving in the middle of dinner rush. Beds were comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. It's extremely quiet at night, which was a lovely thing for us. The breakfast buffet is great, with freshly-baked bread every morning, and though we didn't have an occasion to dine at the family-run restaurant, we were happy to have desserts and a beer in the patio. The location is perfect, just a short walk leads you directly in the centre of Giethoorn. (We were delighted by the host offering us a ride to the closest train station, Stedelijk, instead of calling us a taxi, as he needed to go to town anyway. Thank you so much!)

The structure is slightly dated and our room was up a pretty steep staircase (not recommended if you have mobility issues...), but do consider the city itself isn't particularly modern and the cleanliness and warm welcome make up for everything.

The owner was really helpful in explaining what to do/where to go. The breakfast was nice, we also got a small bite from the cafeteria during the day and we were happy with the food, we did not have a chance to eats in the restaurant. The location is perfect and can be reached by car. Also within 10min walking you have a supermarket and the Giethoorn Center where the Main Street for walking is.

Straightforward clean simple accommodation in an excellent location for a walk along the canals of Giethoorn. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Good breakfast and a great all day and evening restaurant.

Strange arrangement to walk outside to a flight of concrete external stairs to reach the bedrooms.

Very kind hosts, big, well equipped room. Bottle of water with two glasses. Parking behind the hotel. Shops and boat rentals can be reached in a few minutes walking. Great surroundings. Rich breakfast, even with gluten free bread. Restaurant with great prices, delicious food.

The location is great nearby the attraction (10 minutes walk). The staff is very nice.

There is no air conditioner so it’s quite warm during the daytime. The property has just only a little fan. (I think it’s too small). There’s no elevator that we have some problems to bring our big suitcase upstairs.

This is a great place to stay! We booked three separate hotel rooms for extended family (9p) and they let us use a little bungalow at the back with a fridge so that we could relax and sit outside on the field and have some drinks in the evening. The dinner was very tasty and excellent value and the included breakfast had everything you could wish for! The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from old Giethoorn. Most of all we appreciate the hospitality of the owner and we will definitely book again when we have visitors from abroad!

It is a small hotel, with a couple of rooms above a restaurant. Be mindful that there are very tall stairs to get into the rooms. Beautiful location, fresh and tasty breakfast (no vegetables, though).

It would be nice to get more than a single room key, as it is also needed to get into the corridor where all the rooms are located. If you go out and someone stays in the room, you need to call them on the phone to get back. Also, the room and the corridor outside were pretty stuffy.

Breakfast quite good. Can rent bicycle for 9.5 euro a day and 6 euro for half day. Property owner is nice and helpful. The paid lunch and dinner is also quite good.

No air conditioner but it is not necessary in Netherlands as it is not hot even in summer
