Breakfast is provided(coffee, tea, cereal, toast, croissant, make your own eggs, etc). Staff is awesome. Got lactose free milk for my breakfast coffee. Very clean. Great outdoor chairs and garden to relax in. Giethoorn is beautiful. Lovely to walk around. Didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Hostel is also a good spot for families.

The shower for room 4 leaks into the hallway a bit. Also, the tiny wall that keeps shower from splashing on your towel, etc could be a bit bigger. Screens in the windows would be nice. Doors bang - a sound damper would be helpful. All minor stuff.

Needed accommodation for one night somewhere in Holland. Searched for the cheapest and couldn't believe I found it in the famous Giethoorn. Did some sightseeing in the evening and it was breathtakingly beautiful! And the kitchen is big and homey and we even played some table games there with another roommate of mine. So basically, also made new friends :)

All the rooms except for the kitchen are on the small side but it wasn't a big problem and you have to remember it's all inside old buildings, so I guess it even adds to the charm.

Hostel is very well located in Giethoorn. We loved the tranquility in the evening and early morning, very good place to relax mentally. Smit boat rental is close to the property, so you can go there if you want to rent a boat.

Private bathroom outside the room means that there is a large bathroom with numbered stalls for toilets and showers. Sinks are shared. Not so bad, but just keep in mind.

It is a very comfortable hostel, everything is clean, staffs are friendly, the kitchen is free to use. We cook food and meet difference people at the common area. The location is at the entrance of the village, a very nice restaurant is next to it, you can also rent the boat at this restaurant.

The room is hostel style, two double deck single bed, it is totally fine as a hostel, however, its relative is small for a family. If you want to rent the hostel right in the middle of the village, this hostel is a little bit far, you need to walk around 10 minutes to the center of the village.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast included is quite decent given that it's a small hostel. They also have their own parking which can be used by their guests in a first come, first serve basis. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

The cleanliness of our room could definitely be improved. There were spider webs under our beds and a spider on the toilet's ceiling.

Jimmy and his team are very nice. The garden next to the hostel is very handy and clean. It is equipped with stuff for barbeque and a small kids playground. You can also relax there and enjoy the sun/vibe by the channel. The location is just perfect, it is very tranquil yet you can reach all spot by foot. The breakfast is basic but you can use the shared kitchen to cook :) Overall, it is a very nice stay here and I can recommend it, very good value-to-money ratio.

Fruit options in the breakfast & provide flip flop to go to toilet would be nice. :)

placement is like from a movie, small islands with individual houses. breakfast included, hostes and personel very kind and frinedly. this place was fantastic taking price into account. wifi was also good, fast and lag free.

there was only 1 grocery store in the city, and they where roughly 20-40% more expensive then grocery stores in actual cities. (this is 100% a tourist city)

Very well located hostel as it's literally in the midst of the old traditional houses and tiny canal lanes. Walkable from Binnenpad which is a famous place in Geithoorn. The host was really sweet and made eggs for us. Breakfast was really nice with many options. The beds are comfortable and they provide a locker. plenty of space around the property with good view. There is a boat rental service opposite the hostel which was super convenient.

The seating facility outside was really good but wasn't kept clean at all. The cushions seemed dirty and lots of tiny insects. The table tops weren't clean too. The bedding and bath/toilet facilities was super clean and comfortable

I liked every aspect of my stay. From the receptionists, facilities, beds, rooms, bathrooms, location, being affordable. The hostel is made for socializing and for having a me-time as well. I would recommend 100%.

Nothing! Ah maybe the bath door for the room #4, since water was actually leaking from the door to the hallway during my stay.

The stuff is amazing! we were greeted by a very smiling & accommodating staff member that helped us with our rooms. (we wanted to stay together & the rooms were separated) beds are comfortable, exactly what I expected! the outdoors & location is amazing & breakfast is good.

The shower is weak and it takes time for it to warm up.
