The hotel is located in a quiet area , about 25 min walk to the centre. There is a train station very close to the hotel and that is only a benefit because you can travel to the town if you wish. The reception staff were very friendly and professional. The room was not too big but very clean including nice and modern bathroom. I didn't have a chance to use the restaurant and the pub because my husband and I were away for a concert at the evening time ( great train connection to The Boerderij again) but we had breakfast in the morning with a great variety of the food and a very kind chef was serving an omelette where you can choose veggies or bacon on it. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly and helpful.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, breakfast was expensive for what it was but good.

The bar closed too early - many of us staying were at gigs at De Beorderij, and would have come back to the hotel earlier if the bar had stayed open. There was also what looked like a stabbing incident om the bridge near the railway station/tram stop late on Saturday night - I would advise travelling in numbers or getting a cab - I am guessing that the Golden Tulip at Zoetermeer is not in one of the safest parts of town.

From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were very impressed with the Golden Tulip Hotel. Only a 4 minute walk from Zoetermeer train station and tram stop, this hotel is well situated. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were very friendly. We had arrived several hours early and didn't expect to be able to check in, but this was no problem to the understanding and accommodating receptionist, and we were in our room within minutes of our arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh. Our room had tea and coffee making facilities and featured a large flatscreen TV. The beds were extremely comfortable, which is always a bonus after a long journey. The bathroom/shower was also very clean and equipped with fresh, clean towels. The hotel has a bar and restaurant which we also made use of. We booked the breakfast buffet for the following morning, and it was delicious. The buffet boasted a great selection of food and drinks to more than satisfy everybody's requirements. I would highly recommend staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

There was nothing at all that we could say that we didn't like.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. The suite we had was reasonbly quiet and large. Breakfast was very nice with good quality and a large variety of products.

Bathroom was not perfectly clean and one light bulb was out of order. We chose a suite and there was not enough light in the living room. We had dinner for five at the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to get the meals. Night park was outside of the building and charged.

I must say this hotel is better than many . The staff and the managment make sure you have a quality time here. The staff is very friendly , and the manager does a great job running this hotel and makes sure that everything is in order. I have stayed here on 2 occasions , and my mother stayed here a longer period . And I will come back. Here you can have a quality stay that is better than most hotels I have been to in my life .

The Hotel was very good for our 1 night stay, searching for tulip fields not too far away. The rooms was small but tidy and clean. Beds are comfy and hotel staff was very friendly. Very happy that our dog was allowed to be there with us and he even got some treats and a toy. Enough space to park the car near by.

The breakfast was okay, but not spectecular. Surcharge of 25 EUR for our little 4kg dog is a bit high (but then I am happy that he is allowed to be there with us, although he was not allowed in the restaurant).

Animal friendly hotel which is really very nice. But. If you are too sensitive to cleanliness or allergic to animals, this is not the hotel for you. We were pet-free, but found pet hair on the chairs and furniture in the room.

The breakfast was great. A large selection of foods to please everyone. You can even order custom cooked eggs or an omelette. The restaurant was very accommodating. They opened an hour early so that they could accommodate the guests’ concert schedule.

We would have liked the bar to be open when we got back from our concert. However, we would be also happy with a vending machine or the possibility to purchase wine or beer at the front desk.

The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect - just minute away from the bus/tram/train stop. Behind the hotel was available a free parking which was very convenient.

The apartment was clean and tidy but the hallway on the way to the apartment was a bit neglected and unfresh. There was no dish soap and a sponge, just the dishwasher, so there was no way to wash just one plate. The toilet was in a small separate room, without any sink so using it was a little bit annoing and unsanitary.

Suite was clean and spacious, the water was warm, and there was excellent water pressure for the shower.

Initially, our room was downstairs with a door leading to the pavement. Due to my home country, this was leading to some anxiety. The night porter resolved this very quickly, I am still grateful for the last minute room switch.
