Comfortable bed, good windows blocking noise, very nice hotel in general. Breakfast was expensive, but very good and the miss Jones restaurant in general is great.

Personnel at reception didn't speak Dutch (none of the three!) and two hours after we said we didn't need cleaning service, a cleaner barged into the room without knocking and while being on the phone. He yelled 'housekeeping after literally already standing in the room. It did cause us to use the chain lock on the door for the remainder of our stay there. Also not a single plug in the bathroom for your hairdryer, which was a llittle weird.

We liked Gothel very much. The double bed is really wide, more than 160 cm, and quite long. The extra bed for a child is also comfortable even for an adult. It is convenient that the hotel is located next to the station. We arrived by train, 3 minutes to walk to the hotel We went to the sea in the district of Scheveningen 23 by bus, the route was suggested to us at the reception. It took about 30 minutes to go. The last bus left at 21.45. We took breakfasts and did not regret it, because they are very rich. The staff is friendly, on the last day we left our things in the luggage room, in the evening after the tour we took them back. It is very convenient. The room has high-quality cosmetics (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body cream), a hairdryer and everything else in the description. I would like to thank the hotel staff for our wonderful holiday in The Hague.

On Monday morning at 7 a.m. the fire alarm went on, we were a little scared, but after 5-10 minutes they said that the issue was resolved and we didn't need to go outside.

The location of the hotel, it's a little outside the main commercial area of the city but it well worth staying here as it's only a 10 min bus ride into town. The area is stunning with a beautiful high street, parks & canal close by. There are loads of shops & restaurants & pubs to visit, some are a little expensive. The whole area is very safe, it's like a posh part of London without the yobs! You can park for free on the street outside the hotel after 6pm and during the day at the railway station across the road. Staff at the hotel were very attentive & the rooms were modern & clean. The restaurant on the ground floor was excellent. It was very modern and the Food, drink was great.

The adjacent room was being renovated, drilling and banging started at 7.45am & woke the family up.

Clean and modern room, equipped with lot of things. Good amount of choices for breakfast, nice (night bar like) atmosphere, own parking underground garage (if your car’s height is below 1,8m).

I can certainly understand that they have quite a lot of work, so, maybe no time to answer the (sometimes rather) stupid questions of the quests, placed e.g. via the “messaging” function of the booking.com app, but this time for me this was a crucial one: had a car with the rooftop-box on, almost 2,1m tall, and wanted to get to know in advance, whether they have open-air parking place, or if underground garage, then can my car fit into … and they did not answer anything … and the car certainly did not fit … so, had to find a public parking place out in the city, which for me, (and as this was my very first time in The Hague by car), was not an easy thought and ride.

Hotel seemed pretty new. We like the room. It was very clean and has been furnished well. Staff was helpful and nice. If the breakfast will be taken care of we would definitely recommend to our friends!

Our stay was not including breakfast at the beginning. Once we entered to the Hotel and saw the ambiance and cleanliness of the premises, plus the appearance of the restaurant which is located at the side of the lobby we bought breakfast for two days right a way without any hesitation. However, the quality of the food was poor. Staff was not sufficient in numbers. Therefore, we had to cancel the second days breakfast and went outside.

The rooms are spacious. We had two connected rooms and it was comfortable for a family of five. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located a walking distance from Voorburg train station, which is one train stop away from Den Haag central station so it is easy to get to the city and back and also to travel to other destinations. It is located in a calm area although you would hear the trains passing when the windows are open.

We arrived during the heat wave and the central air conditioning system wasn't working. We asked for someone from guest service to check it out, we were told that the system has been not functioning for a couple of months and they won't be able to repair it for a couple more. There were no air in the rooms and the windows open 10 cm only. Not enough fans were also available at the hotel. We talked to the manager and they apologised and sent us a complimentary drink and gift vouchers and a partial refund, which was appreciated.

Rooms are spacious. Bathroom small but practical with nice shower. Top floor room with nice view over park and skyline. Beds were comfortable. Kind staff. Nice continental breakfast. We were first offered a room on the upper floor with two connecting doors, which we personally did not like. We were then given an alternative room without connecting doors without having to go back down to the reception. That was professional and something we enjoyed. There is a restaurant & bar (Mrs Jones) which is pleasant where you can enjoy drinks and food starting at 5 pm. In overall a very pleasant stay!

The lobby and rooms are furnished in retro 70‘s style which is not our personal taste. The colors and type of furniture lack a little warmth. Our room had a dark wall panel, so the atmosphere was okay. No mini-bar (no issue for us). The cupboard has no shelves with limited amount of space to put your belongings.

Perfect location, within walking distance from the Voorburg pedestrian street and other shops. Train and busstation a few minutes walk. Still very quiet. Can't find fault with the room: spacious, clean and comfortable. When arriving back home in Denmark I discovered I forgot my laptop in the room. A call to reception after midnight and it was immediately recovered, the personal packed it protectively the next day, and helped me to ship it from NL to DK. Now, that is super service!

almost everything perfect, good cleaning and the size of the room was spectacular. It had very good communication with the train at the very door of the hotel and the bed was super comfortable. highly recommended

The shower didn't drain well and despite leaving it disassembled, they didn't fix it and you had to stop the water while you showered so it wouldn't overflow. They did not clean the coffee cups or the glasses any day, although they did replace the capsules.

Quite a typical hotel that’s part of a large chain: clean, tidy, meets your expectations, but nothing very unique. The hotel’s easy to reach by public transport, the breakfast was rather basic but nice, and everything worked well. The room was nice and clean. Nice to see that the hotel had a quite diverse and international staff!

We arrived after a days-long heatwave and noticed that something was wrong with the air conditioning because the only way to cool the room down was by keeping the window open all the time. From outside, you could see that the windows were open in almost all rooms of the hotel, so the issue didn’t exist only in our room. That wasn’t ideal especially as the hotel is next to a train and bus station and there’s a lot of noise also during the night. I slept with earplugs on, which is fine but not exactly what you wish from a stay in a nice hotel.
