Location suited me as I was heading south the next day. I liked the tidiness of the rooms and the channels available on the TV. Bed was super comfortable. Also liked the wider car parking bays due to the fact that my car has wide doors. Owner was easy-going and willing to go out of his way to make my stay pleasurable. Would stay there again.

There was nothing I didn't like. It met my expectations. I could hear people in the next room a wee bit, but that is normal for a motel, so not complaining.

WE stayed in a spacious three bedroom house next to the main motel. It was very roomy with a large backyard and would be ideal for families. The house would sleep 6 comfortably. Although being of an older style it was comfortable and well set up. It would be good for a long term stay as it has a washing machine and clothes line.

It is close to highway 1 but surprisingly the noise was not bad. There are ear plugs supplied in the bedside draws but we didn't need them. One of the bedroom doors urgently needs attention as it sticks closed and can only be opened with force. Not good fora child or frail person . We notified the owners.

We made the right choice choosing Adcroft Ashburton as our accomodation. The owners Stacey and Aaron including their staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Motel is perfect for a family with young children with a play area right outside the back of our room. Our room was very clean, warm and had everything we needed. We decided early hours of our last day we wanted to extend our stay and Aaron very helpful with that. Thankyou for exceeding our expectations and making our stay enjoyable ❤.

Wonderful service and beautifully clean and cozy room. We were treated to a brand new bed for our stay also, which was so comfortable. The shower pressure was great, and we were provided complimentary plunger coffee for our morning brew.

Main road with trucks passing might be the only negative to this place.

It was a real haven for the night. I had been very busy in Dunedin and was quite tired when I arrived [ what do you expect for an 81 year old riding a scooter! I could spread myself out, have a Domino's Pizza delivered, shower and sleep....bliss. I was away quite early as had an appt in ChCh. Reception very helpful.

Can't imagine really. I am an "old mountaineer" and a few years would have been in a tent in a camping ground...but this was so much better!

It was unseasonally hot and no air conditioning in the room we were given, so we swapped for a larger suite with separate bedroom with air conditioning for just extra $5 a night. Full size oven and kitchen facilities to make meals and a laundry. Staff were very helpful.

Could do with some renovations, but was clean and comfortable.

This is not something the moteliers can change, but it takes a wait sometimes and care getting onto the State Highway to go north into Ashburton. The very thing that makes the motel easy to find can also be tricky, being alongside the state highway.

Friendly service, very clean and comfortable. Very close to Ashburton township.

Right on the main highway so very noisy, particularly with trucks during the night and early morning peak hour. Make sure you wear earplugs!

Great service. Well-appointed, comfortable unit that was spotlessly clean. Although an older establishment, it has been well-maintained and modernised to some extent over the years. 50GB of data was included in the tariff - plenty for a two night stay. Great shower - big head, high flow and good pressure.

I would much prefer Netflix over Sky.

Great room with a comfy bed and a full kitchen. The lady that met us at reception was great, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. I love that they give you the milk in a little glass jar! So cute! Great place to stay overnight on the way to another location.
