We were arriving quite late at night but the friendly staff were there to ensure our late check in was a breeze! The location of the motel was super convenient especially to Westfield Riccarton, rooms were very tidy and serviced during our stay and had all that we needed to use. Overall a great stay and would happily return :)

The only thing that would've made this stay a 10/10 is if the curtains were blackout as the sunlight came streaming through the curtains lighting up the room at about 6:30am which wasn't too ideal while on holiday. Also net curtains would've been a good touch to add some privacy to the room during the day

Great location, easy access to shops, restaurants etc. Double glazing kept noise low. Staff were friendly and room was tidied every day. The shower pressure was fab and the room had everything we needed. We would stay again.

Nothing we didnt like but one small improvement that could be made that would have made our stay more enjoyable would be to have a netting curtain so we could have some privacy during the day as our room was facing out to the parked cars.

The hotel is well located about a 15 min drive from the airport and the town centre. Good Wi-Fi and parking. Good shower and the room was clean and had a microwave, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. There were lots of eateries nearby as well as Westfield shopping centre - all within walking distance.Staff were very helpful and allowed us to leave a suitcase with them while we toured NZ. This was about 2 weeks before we checked in and very welcomed as it saved us lugging if around!

The only negative point was the large glass patio door and window opened onto the walkway. Net curtains would have given some privacy without having to pull the curtains closed. A minor quibble given all the positives above!

All of the above points were as they should be. The receptionist was a "no-nonsense" person who got on with a quick handover of the key to the room. The place was welcoming and easy to step into from the car park.

There was a shortage of milk for the drinks: four small containers for a night's stay. The normal cup of coffee needs two of those containers to even make it look like it has milk in it!! So I would recommend placing more in the fridge or use larger containers. :-)

The room was modern and clean, felt a bit upmarket with the art work and skylights. Spacious room and I liked the coat rack so you don't have to put all your jackets etc on the chairs. Great location can easily walk to Westfields Riccarton mall and Tower junction. I also walked easily into Hagley Park and Botanical gardens. Close to bus stops for public transport. Staff were very friendly. Good off-street parking

The pillows were too thick for my liking. Could hear some street noise, but not too bad didn't keep me up at all.

The location was good for what we were in the Christchurch for. Easy to access. The room was warm and while it was cold during a couple of nights, we were very cosy and slept well. The bed covering was really comfortable. it was positioned right behind a large mall, and plenty of choice of eating places and shopping available.

The curtain covering the large glass area, could be improved with a black out lining. It would darken the room and cut out the outside lights/street lighting. However, not a big issue for us.

The room was cleaner than we had experienced on previous stays. The shower and bathroom in general was wonderful, and the bed quite OK. Proximity to Riccarton Mall a big bonus and was the reason for our choice of motel on this visit to Christchurch.

Provision of wine glasses would be nice. The chairs in the room were not safe to sit in, but we sat on the bed instead.

We loved the close proximity to Riccarton Mall. Staff were excellent and friendly. Nothing was a problem. The unit had all we needed for a short stay. The shower was fantastic.

All in all the unit was good and I would stay again. I have listed a couple of things that could be sorted. I would of liked a bathroom cabinet to put my toilet bag on instead of the floor. The skirting boards needed a wipe down. The chairs need to be upgraded as vinyl was coming off.

We were so grateful our plane arrived late evening hours. Our room was warm comfortable and we were sent texts and emails to give us instructions on our room and the owners availability. Very helpful and it made a big difference after a long day. Bed very comfortable as was the room. Shower was really good. Didn’t need to use kitchen facilities. Location close to town, Riccarton shopping and eating places.

Everything was too my liking.

Very clean place, close to the mall and a 15-minute walk to and from the train station. Has all the amenities you would need in a room: even a iron and an ironing board, hairdryer, water heater, slow cooker, fridge, utensils and microwave. Water pressure in the shower was awesome. There is also a heater but was not able to use it since I booked during summer season. They also accommodated my late check-in which was convenient.

No air-conditioning so you would have to leave your door and windows open if you need a little air. Not much of a TV watcher although the cable signal needed a little adjusting.
