The hosts of the motel are very friendly. The room and toilet are clean. The two sinks have a large capacity and are convenient for washing clothes by hand. Room service is available every day. It is only 60m from the nearby bus station.

The motel is located about 1.3km away from the grocery store Freshchoice. On the first day of arrival, I felt that it was a little far away, but this was no longer a problem after I purchased a Metrocard.

Well situated motel within walking distant to restaurants (we enjoyed Hoi Polloi Bar and Bistro) and a café (Affogato). We didn't get a change to try the cafe but our uber driver told us it was great - good food/coffee (his other job is working in a restaurant - not that one!) We enjoyed a very clean and comfortable unit - well appointed.

Nothing that the owners could do anything about really. There was another guest either upstairs or alongside, who talked a lot! Starting at 5am. Her voice seemed to carry for miles. The ceiling paintwork in the bathroom of our unit is peeling. Otherwise, the unit was in very good condition.

Perfect place to stay. Owners are super lovely and the lovely lady was so helpful with directions for site seeing spots and activities to do while in Chch. Parking was fantastic, right outside the room. The room was very spacious and had everything you needed and more. The beds were so comfortable and im sure we had a super King, it was huge. The room was cozy and there is a heatpump although we were quite warm without. Location is great, and literally a min down the road are several dining spots that will also do a take away if you don't feel like dining out. I highly recommend this place and I know we will definitely stay there on our next trip. Thank you for the great stay. 🙂👌

There was absolutely nothing to not like.

Nice room, close to town

Bit of loud noise in morning. Stayed 3 nights and every morning either had dogs barking or guests arguing. Not a big deal for us as we aren't people who sleep in but for others who want to get away to do just that may not be happy. Owner was a little judgmental also with us choosing takeaway food as he didn't want us to create " Smelly rubbish in appt" knowing we would clear rubbish. Telling us off for that was a little much. Lovely people but that got a little annoying at times.

This was a very spacious hotel room. My partner and I particularly liked how the bedrooms were separated from the living room by a small flight of stairs, allowing us to feel like we had our own little contained apartment. The room itself was very clean and had everything you'd need to be comfortable. The showers were great, and when we arrived were shown around by our host who made sure we had everything we needed.

There's not a lot we didn't like about the room! This is a perfect, sizable suite for someone who is on holiday with their partner and/or family and is wanting to opt for more of an affordable style of accommodation.

Location was good. Easy to move about. Shower cubicle was especially good as it was well sealed when closed. I didn’t have to worry about getting the floor outside wet. The presence of a washing machine and a dryer was especially useful. The owner was very friendly and helpful too 👍

It would be useful to have some hooks on the toilet door or somewhere we could hang our clothes to change into after a shower.

Very convenient, central location. Car park guaranteed. Room/townhouse had a good size. Quiet (double glazed windows) which was great. Had everything we needed for our stay.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Like any motel, the bathroom needs more hooks for hanging used towels. A soap dish would be nice so the soap doesn't dissolve on the sink. Our neighbors were loud during the second night but that's not the motels fault. It was just annoying that people would be so inconsiderate and make constant noise at midnight when we're trying to sleep to catch an early flight.

Location 10/10. Within 10 minutes walk, for 5 minutes bus ride to the Central City. Quiet nights, despite being on a busy road, we were in a room at the back of the property. The bed was very comfortable, and the room in general was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean, with new towels each day, as well as being cleaned each day. We had everything we needed for our 3 night stay and we were left alone by the hosts to enjoy our stay.

I can't think of anything.... Everything was satisfactory.

What a lovely motel! Reception was friendly and the Manager was very helpful and cheerful. There was a fire alarm during the night on our first night and it was swiftly and efficiently dealt with. Communication was excellent with all guests to keep them informed. The venue was perfect for exploring Christchurch on foot and getting out to local eateries. There are laundry facilities which were useful when travelling. There is a small supermarket just down the road for anything you may need. Shower and spa bath were excellent! We would definitely visit again! Loved it!

The staff member was very welcoming and gave great service. The room was very clean and presented nicely. The location was great - close enough to walk into town and Hagley Park. Parking was easy and provided. The area was quiet. The building looked well maintained as was the room. Bed linen was nice and the room easy to heat.

I don't feel the photos we saw prepared us for the very compact nature of the room. We choose a kitchenette as we like to prepare our own breakfast, however there was no bench space for food prep and the dishes had to be washed in the bathroom sink. Not impossible and it was manageable for 2 nights.
