We had great communication from the Park. We were arriving on the Tranzalpine which arrived after the closure of the office. Arrangements were put in place so we could access the locked box containing our room key and a map to find our cabin. The pool was heated so the kids had just enough time to use it before the 9pm closure. There's a jumping pillow, games room (we didn't use it though so can't comment) and swings etc. There is a shuttle bus service they provide for a few dollars to go to the airport We asked if they could take us to the Antarctic Centre near the airport instead so we could kill some time before our flight. They were more than accommodating. We (family of 5) got driven in 2 cars with 5 X luggage to the place. Afterwards it was only a 5 minute walk to the airport from there. Great customer service, I would definitely recommend.

First flight could be heard from after 6 am, but hey you're there so you're close to the airport right?

Friendly welcoming helpful staff, had a flat battery after a long flight traveling with grandchildren, went to reception lovely reception lady helped finding a battery pack as parked wrong way, owner & maintenance man & happy camper came to my rescue nothing was a problem. Clean facilities, great park for children, also dog friendly, perfect location petrol station & Burger King upon entree, airport 6 minutes & Northland's mall 10 minutes, great for people that don't like driving in the city. Definitely will be back 🙂

The park is fabulous if you travel with kids... playground, trampoline, pool are great fun. The cabins are cosy and bathrooms/ kitchen well looked after. The staff is lovely and VERY helpful! A BIG Thanks for everything! Also lovely lakes just around the corner, worth a walk to see the sunset with its magical colors!

Obviously the location is not central, but close to the airport and thanks to the shuttle service very convenient also for people without a car. If you want to see the city centre, obviously a car is useful. I was surprised that the planes didn't bother us at all, even though the airport is close by.

The airport was nearby, a $32 taxi ride. The bathrooms were very clean. The room was clean, and he upgraded us to a larger room, so we had more room for our group to spread out. They had all sorts of housing from campgrounds with hook ups to rooms for the whole family. The playground was fun too. They have a dump station and water fill up as well. The dog in the office is a great bonus.

The showers went cold after a little while, but it got warm again after a few minutes. I’m sure it’s to keep people from wasting water, but I needed more time.

Close to the airport, clean, friendly. Great play area for the kids. Quiet. Brilliant facilities for doing laundry, kitchen. Comfortable beds and enough space for family of 4. We stayed one night and then went to Lake Tekapo and came back and stayed another night, the staff were amazing with ensuring everything was smooth and easy over the Christmas public holidays. Highly recommend.

I originally booked a standard cabin with shared facilities. For a little extra I upgraded to a TV cabin with shared facilities. The cabin had a good-sized queen bed with clean sheets and duvets. There was a TV, small fridge, kettle with crockery and utensils along with a tea towel and cloth. It was small but had space for a little table along with benchtop and cupboards. Outside chairs were available to sit on the small verandah. Good ventilation through windows and sliding doors. It was grouped with 5 - 6 others in the same area away from other standard cabins. This afforded some privacy from the rest of the park. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were a short walk away. Well-presented clean and tidy. Staff were accommodating and happy to welcome me. Wifi had good reception where the TV occasionally didn't.

Rumble from airport planes taking off but to be expected being so close to the airport. A better supply of milk capsules in the cabin fridge would be helpful.

Room was simple yet clean. Playground area was good for kids, they enjoyed it. Towels changed out most days. Bathroom was very clean - a must for any accommodation so greatly appreciated. Heater worked well as it's been a surprisingly cold visit to Chch. Pillows and blankets were better than expected. Good sized room. WIFI worked really well the entire stay. Loved the location of close to airport and with a petrol station and BK nearby. Felt very safe too!

More lighting for driving/walking round the facility in the dark would be helpful. Our smoke alarm malfunctioned the first night and they didn't replace it our entire stay so we had no smoke alarm in our room. Tea/coffee/milk wasn't refilled in our stay. Guests in room next to us were very noisy until about midnight each night.

If you want 5 star accommodation with all the trimmings pay big money and go somewhere else. If you are a down to earth kiwi who wants good accommodation, good service at the right price this is the place for you. The room was good size and comfortable for four people. The place was exceptionally clean and well presented and Mark made us feel really welcome even though we arrived late. Well done North South we have been twice and will be back.

We liked everything.

I travelled with a large group; three families, 12 in total. Access to the park was clear and easy to find. A great spot for families to connect but also have space for themselves. Pool was a great bonus as well as the children’s park/play area. Staff were amazing and accommodating. Would highly recommend and definitely come back again.

The only issue I had with my room in particular was that there was no air conditioning. We stayed in summer so I think this is a definite must with NZ summers/temperatures. We did have an electric portable fan, so this was better than nothing and eased the heat in the evening. My group stayed in Standard Studio Room.

Very close to the airport which is plus point to get ourselves recharge a night before starting our campervan trip. Quite a nice and big campsite with clean bathrooms and hot water comes free. There are a few communal kitchens that we could use, not crowded at all. Overall is a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
