I have stayed at this Motel on a number of occasions and am always satisfied with the room and the service. The restaurant and bar is good with great food and service. It is the perfect spot to stay if you have come from another location and are catching a flight out the next day. The location is close to the airport and there is a little plaza a couple of blocks away if you'd rather go out then stay in for the night.

The only thing I would suggest is a later check out at 11:00 rather than the 10:00, although to be fair I didn't ask for a late check out as we decided to go for a tour of the town before our flight.

Large comfortable bed, spacious room that easily fit our portacot, good shower pressure, heated towel rail meant we could dry our towels to reuse, underfloor heating in bathroom was amazing and overall very clean suite/bathroom. Other bonus items we liked were lots of plugs next to the bed and the option to have dim lighting with the light panel near the bed.

Everything was great and exceeded expectations. One thing was there was no bathroom vanity to put toilet bags on but the bathroom was very spacious so the floor worked fine.

Easy to find via maps, great location. Close to all that we needed which included the airport. On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly. Check in was super easy and fast. Room was very nice was actually the nicest out of the 3 hotels we stayed at. Bed super comfortable I don’t know if it was the bed itself or the fact I was going home the next day that I had a great sleep. Loved that there was laundry facilities, my kids changed outfits multiple times, it was nice not going home just to do washing. Overall would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing, staff, room and facilities exceeded my expectations,

Stayed two separate nights on our departure from Christchurch and our return home after an overseas trip. Excellent place to stay, location & staffwise. Everything very easy and staff so helpful with the added bonus of having our vehicle looked after while we were away. Drop off and pick up from the airport at some very unsociable hours was also very much appreciated. The unit we stayed in for both nights was comfortable but facilities a little dated. It still had everything we needed for our stay and we would stay again without any hesitation at all.

Nothing really, having been moteliers ourselves, we understand that updating of facilities is a gradual process and happens over a cycle rather than all at once.

Fantastic easy access location. Friendly staff who were more than happy to accommodate when we asked to stay a 2nd night after only initially booking for one. Showers are fantastic with lovey hot hot water. Comfy beds and lovely warm rooms. Oh and decent sized wine glasses are great !!!!

Would love bigger coffee cups for a good brew in the mornings. Not a big deal and nothing to complain about but just a suggestion. The out side seats and table from the rooms were filthy dirty and could do with a good scrub and clean.

Shuttle service, great!! Clean and tidy, these luxury units are just that, very well appointed with ample room for luggage and opening up those pesky 2 way bags, no bending to the floor!. Comfy beds, and full kitchen so you can cook. Resturant on site with a singing chef, not bad lol. Food delicious, it was hard to choose what to have, seafood chowder was yum. Bar also on site very handy. Close to all routes to city and out of city to southern and northern motorways and just a short shuttle to car hire companies. Why stay in town.

Some of these special units are up a flight of stairs so not good for lifting luggage if you are older, make sure you request a downstairs unit.

Very convenient property for early morning International flights and being able to leave our car. . The restaurant dinner was very good and the staff there were delightful . We are staying again on our return and will ask for an upgraded room

Our room was not ready when we arrived at 5pm after a 4 hour drive which wasn't so good but the staff did manage to change our booking to a bigger room after we had waited a while.. Good value for money but the room is in the old wing , nylon shower curtain etc.

We flew in on a 1am flight from Australia. The pick up from the airport was so easy, the driver was very friendly and dropped us off right at our door. The blinds were pulled in our room and the heater was on which was so nice as it was a cold night. Have stayed there many times due to its proximity to the airport, seamless airport transfers at any hour, friendly professional staff and onsite restaurant. We always leave our car there while we are away and never had any issues at all. Highly recommend.

Nothing was a problem to staff. Friendly welcome on arrival, Bright cherry staff. No trouble to order a shuttle to airport. Even offered for a late discharge so we could enjoy our beautiful apartment without needing to get out by ten am. Much appreciated. Then showed us where to sit in the lounge while waiting for our shuttle. Nothing was ever too much for anyone. so willing to do anything.

The taxi cost to this accomodation was the hardest and worst part, from the railway station to accommodation. (Price wise)

We were surprised at our room being upgraded. Staff really helpful and cheerful. Meal and service at restaurant excellent. Shuttle service great addition to service.

We did comment to the receptionist when we handed in the key that the key was difficult to turn in lock and the electric jug didn't turn itself off when it had boiled and they said they'd have someone look at these issues. Neither of these issues annoyed us and we just wanted to point them out so they had a chance to fix.
