It was nice and close to amenities

The lady made me feel uncomfortable twice while we had our 2 night stay. There was pressure for payment from our second room even though she already had my card details and said she had bills and staff to pay. Then when the payment was made that afternoon my two children were told off for being in the reception area even though they weren't touching anything, she did apologies and said it was due to stress but that was unprofessional in my opinion. Oh and then there was pressure to be our before 10am (like way earlier, we left at 9ish) as there was another booking coming in and she wanted the cleaners in.

great location close to popular beach, great restaurants, and shops with great selections of goods.

Room 1, Got up to have shower In the morning and there was no hot water, rang through to reception from room phone but no answer as office closed until 8am. This seemingly corrected itself just after 8am. however given the overall satisfaction of our stay we were not put off by this and will be back again and reccomend to others

Wonderful location right in the heart of Sumner Bay. Beach across the road and a short walk around the corner to lots of great places to eat. Lovely staff, very friendly. Easy off street parking. Huge room. Exceptionally clean. Well equipped. Far better than expected! Will definitely stay again.

Sumner Bay was great, we loved the accomodation, it was clean and very comfy. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and a nice quiet table outside to have dinner on. Very central location, were able to pick up a take away and a few beers locally. Theres a bar on the Beach called the Beach which was excellent just a short walk away.

Hard to manage but on our second night we had some noisey neighbours I think above us Coming and going in there cars and talking loud.

Clean with good facilities. Fantastic location. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The main lady that worked on the reception was rather grumpy. She did make simple requests (more toilet paper for example) seem like a huge inconvenience.

Everything was amazing. From the moment you walk in reception you get a nice, warm greeting. The room was tidy and beautiful. Air Conditioned and heated for the temperature changes, extra blankets and pillows. The bed is like a cloud and is wonderful. Perfect location in the middle of everything. Plenty of restaurants, stores and supermarket at your fingertips with the beach a short block away so fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. Nestled away from the street so nice and private with a view of the beautiful hills from your room, at night the twinkling lights from the homes gives a nice, peaceful atmosphere. Shower has great pressure which is another wee bonus Highly recommend

The fact I hadn't booked a longer stay

The location was great, close to the beach, cafes, bars and the Bohemian Bakery! Also close to some great walking tracks in and around the Port Hills. A very comfortable unit and the staff very friendly

The shower curtain needs to be longer - we had a slight flood while showering!

Everything , the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. the unit was well appointed and warm ,clean and tidy. the location was excellent close to everything. they respected your privacy , if you needed anything they would help you...

Location is great. Close to everything in Sumner. Very comfortable bed and unit had all we needed. The unit was private, clean, fresh, modern and warm. Ample parking.

Location of toilet roll is very awkward. You need to be a contortionist to reach it. Suggest more convenient on right of the toilet by the arm of someone using it.
