Excellent seaside location so close to all amenities and the beach!! We had a spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped unit which was also pet friendly, so our dog was able to join us on this family trip. We have stayed here previously but the new owners Tony and Sophie are incredibly friendly and welcoming, nothing was a problem, they’re just great! We will definitely be back.

Beautifully presented and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The room comes with two books that give you all the information you need about the ins and outs of the motel and all of the restaurants in the area very helpful! Love that transport is within a minutes walk and the beach is a few minutes around the block. Supermarket and other stores a short walk as well

great spot in Sumner so close to the sea and beaches Our stay was comfortable and convenient to everything we had planned for.The shower was the best and plenty of places to hang clothes or put in drawers Good selection of eating spots around this motel Joe's Garage directly across road for great coffee and breakfast.

climbing up and down stairs was a bit of a challenge for oldies but we understood these were the only units which had a couch to sit on. 2 bucket chairs are not what we like to sit on after a long day out

Unbeatable location for Sumner- down the block from the beach, quick walk to restaurants and shops. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need.

I really had to think about this- love their toiletries but you do need to bring your own lotion, and there wasn’t much counter space in the bathroom. The room is perfect though, with ample fridge, counter space, everything you need for cooking and coffee.

Unit 6 had a nice private leafy patio on the ground floor. It was attractive, modern, spacious and well equipped. Sumner Bay turned out to be a very pleasant seaside choice - far more attractive than Brighton Beach.

We had some initial problems trying to connect to the internet with WiFi, but the manager was very helpful and sorted out the problem.

Our bed was a king size and it was very comfortable. The room was nice and warm with thick curtains and the heater worked very well. The bathroom had a powerful shower, bathroom fan, fan heater, a heated towel rail, hairdryer, everything we needed. We were very comfortable in our motel for 4 nights and found the motel close to shops, supermarket and the beach.

Friendly, helpful owners. Very responsive to requests. Location was perfect for our family event. We all enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. Nice to have a balcony off our unit.

The pull out sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable and the fact that it couldn't easily be put away during the day meant our living space was a bit ompromised.

Dog friendly. Easy walk to dog-friendly beach. Small, secure patio that meant I could keep the main sliding door open for the breeze, without risking losing the dogs. Close to food outlets including a kebab cart that was still open around 9 pm.

Seemed to be a small ant infestation - they got into the dog dish after I put it down on the patio. Also seemed to be a few in the kitchen. Motelier said they would put down ant sand, so hopefully it won’t persist as a problem.

Super nice people. Awesome location. Water pressure was the best I have ever had in a shower. Important when it is so hot outside

The room was so hot the first night. I am told that the days we were there were much hotter than usual. Maybe add a normal fan in the master bedroom as well as the heater fan. BUT when I asked for a fan, I got one immediately, so I cannot fault them on service

Just had a such great time! The lovely receptionist is really nice and gave us a really nice warm welcome. The room is great too! Lots of kitchen utilities, which is great when we wanted to cook using the kitchenette. Location of the motel is awesome! Super close to the beach and Cafe/Restaurants. This is 100% a great value for what we paid!
