Very friendly and helpful services! The staffs are very friendly and helpful! The room is quite clean, and well tended. It comes with the microwave, which is quite helpful since it doesn’t have a stove. We really like this tiny yard of theirs. The parking space was not that clustered, and I can find a park most of the times. Location wise, we can drive to places within city in about 10 minutes. Probably 15 minutes to Ric, and less than 30 to Sumner.

I think the room can be a bit better ventilated. Especially after turning on the AC. The door of the bathroom is super heavy and is a glass door, personally, I am worried that if I close it a bit hard I might break it, or I might jam my finger by accident. But it is definitely a great place to stay!

This is a good hotel within walking distance of the centre - about 15-20 mins. The room is a good size for 2 with a small kitchen area with a microwave and fridge so you can make coffee and a snack if you want to. The bed was large and comfortable. The air conditioning worked to cool and heat the room which was handy. It has a large bathroom with a shower with either a large drenching head or a shower on a flexible hose. One nice touch was the TV had Netflix which was logged on and useable to guests. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

To be very picky, the air conditioning is almost opposite the bed so cold air can blast at you when in bed. Also we had 2 large suitcases but there was one case support. There were only 3 hangers, which was inadequate for someone with 4 weeks clothes with them! As I say, these are really minor point though.

Fantastic location, just a short walk along the river Avon into the centre of the city of Christchurch. We succeeded in getting a parking space at the hotel which meant our rental car was safe and secure. The rooms are arranged around a lovely little secluded courtyard garden which was a great surprise. The room was a good size and had everything you could require. Great value for money on a room only basis for the location.

Conversing with staff by messaging in Booking.com re parking proved wasteful and confusing as to whether we would have to pay a fee or not? Sadly no lift to get your luggage up to the rooms on the first floor.

I arrived early to attend a function. The lady on reception was so accommodating and very helpful. She gave me all the information for coming back later after reception had closed, even showing me my room, which was being prepared for my stay so I knew where it was and everything about the facilities. The room was spotless and very quiet even though I was alongside the carpark. I really enjoyed my stay and felt very welcomed even though I was only staying overnight. I will certainly stay there again.

Super service from Sylvia on arrival and given a map and explained to us all the sites to see on foot for the next two nights including local pub for dinners was great. Quiet room with internal access like you are in Greece with the plants and stairs. Great base to walk anywhere. Very warm room with great shower and kitchenette.

The only thing was minor and very minor in the blue lights for the kitchenette. Pillows bit soft but not an issue.

The hotel is lovely. A little bit out of the main city centre but a very easy walk. The building and gardens are very well maintained. The central courtyard was a nice area to have breakfast, read or have a drink before heading out for dinner. The staff were very friendly, professional and happy to help.

We ended up with a room with an accessible bathroom. This meant that the bathroom took up much of the room and the remainder felt quite squashed. The room was really clean and high standard but there was very little floor space and because there were no wardrobes (just hangers on hooks) the room got very cluttered, very quickly.

This property is in a great central location with only a short walk to the center of the city. There is also a small shop attached to the property for any of your immediate needs. There is a microwave, toaster, kettle, and kitchenette making it easy to prepare an easy breakfast or snack. I was greeted at reception by a very helpful lady who provided a map of the area and pointed out good eateries and local attractions. My room looked onto the carpark which was fine by me as I like to keep an eye on my car and it was a quick walk to the car.

The small fridge in the room could be colder. I think it is a bar fridge instead of a food fridge.

Really enjoyed the privacy of the hotel, the location and the cleanliness of the rooms. It feels like a home away from home for the 10 days. I hired a car to make it easier to get around the city, and having a parking spot was extremely useful.

The room I had was facing the street so the streetlight at night is very bright, but closing the curtains and having an eye mask fixed that.

We stayed 2 nights in unit 15. The location was perfect and the hotel was luxurious. On check-in we were advised that we had a free upgrade which was great. Our unit had the bathroom downstairs and upstairs was a king sized bed and 2 x singles along with a kitchenette including a small fridge. The wifi was fantastic.

The unit is in the top floor (attic) area of the building and only had one small window which didn't open. It was slightly claustrophobic and I would have liked to be able to open the window. There were 4 x skylights which were unable to be opened. The internal stairs are a little steep, especially if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We chose to leave the bathroom light on to assist. Parking would be very limited if it was busy although there is on-street parking.

Location is v good within walking distance to downtown. Nice scenic walk by river. The receptionist Silvia was super friendly and helpful. She help us with a call to check if our Akarao cruise is on or not due to bad weather. Really very elegant hotel we love the decor and the beautiful courtyard.

The heater in the night was pretty noisy. The courtyard tables needs to be cleaned.
