I have never stayed such a nice hotel. Everything was wonderful－delicious breakfast, plenty of lovely treats, clean and comfortable private room, high quality fasillities, etc. Japanese people love baths, so it was also so good that the bathtub and shower booth were separated. This is a very quiet and peaceful area. We felt really relaxed. We loved spending time on the balcony with amazing views. Especially, the starry sky is unforgettable. The hosts were wonderful - very welcoming, helpful and frendly, in spite of my poor English. They provided a lot of information about the area, which made our trip even better. Anyway, everything was an experience that exceeded my expectations. 2 days stay was too short. I will definitely come back. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous accomodation. We stayed in the cottage which was spacious and well appointed. The hosts Jules and Chris were welcoming and friendly. We were invited to attend an Anzac Day service with the locals which was really special and memorable. Breakfast was excellent. Lots to choose from and also lots of other nice snacks in the room. Bannockburn was a lovely place to visit with lots of nice walks and wineries. Highly recommend staying at Bannockburn House. You won't be disappointed.

Jules and Chris are wonderful hosts: discreet but available when needed or for advice on restaurants etc. This is our second visit to Bannockburn House and we’re considering a third. Breakfast provisions were top-shelf and superb including freshly baked croissants and organic fruit grown on their property. The view is stunning and restful from both the room and deck and the area very quiet. Bathroom very nicely appointed with double basins and living/sleeping area is spacious and had a lounge and swivel TV. It is walking distance to the excellent Bannockburn Hotel and Black Rabbit cafe (which we did not try).

The lounge area could do with a reading light. If you wish to travel with friends or family ensure you let them know that as they are limiting occupancy post-Covid except to guests known to one another.

The location, the view, and the privacy were spectacular. The room and facilities were high-quality, new and beautiful. Our bathroom was equipped with a large tub next to a picture window with a great view, plants, double sinks, instant-on great shower. The breakfast was presented so that we could set our own schedule, and snacks of fruit, chocolate, cold drinks & Nescafe coffee were available all the time for us out in the hall. Dinner at Bannockburn Hotel was a treat. Jules & Chris took great care of us!

Outstanding property. So private and quiet with all the must have touches and an incredible shower. Bliss! Nespresso machine, smart tv, washer/dryer and apowerful heat pump made our stay perfect. From salting the stairs, leaving lights & heating on; along with all the delicious treats, we could not have asked for more. Loved our walks to Black Rabbit for coffee and cheese rolls but the highlight was meals at Bannockburn Hotel.

Beautiful comfortable private room with wonderful bathroom facilities. Views out over the spectacular countryside, close to wineries and hotel. Jules and Chris provide wonderful hospitality and a beautiful homely breakfast along with great knowledge of the surrounding area and places of interest. We would definitely return.

Very professionally set up and run. Very hospitable hosts, great location. Our room was large and comfortable, lovely outlook over the valley and autumn colours, the bathroom was very large with a great bath, again looking out over the valley. Good continental breakfast, pod machine available but Jules also makes a good flat white and expresso . Chris very generously dropped us off at our winery visit.

I loved Jules and Chris exceptional hosting: you feel special and you want to stay there to enjoy it more! my favourite moment was the bath with view... The place has a very peaceful atmosphere with a profusion of indoor plants and complimentary treats ...

I'd have preferred to be there for leisure with my husband and share with him this lovely stay at the Banncokburn house...

Amazing accommodation. Jules & Chris great hosts - very helpful and obliging. Very good communication before our arrival. Very comfortable and very nice options for breakfast.

Our only hiccup.was not being able to work the Samsung Smart TV! despite good instructions. It was inconvenient for him but Chris came and helped us out.

Bannockburn House is an amazing place to stay. Everything we hoped for and more... comfortable and beautifully decorated. Stunning view from the large windows and balcony. Lovely treats and delicious breakfast. Wonderful hosts and Lenny the cat was adorable. We will definitely be back... we highly recommend a stay here. Jackie and Pete, New Zealand April 2023
