We booked very last minute and without much research due to an issue with another accommodation. What a pleasant surprise!!!! The staff called me few minutes after booking to ensure we had the right room. Turned out that we didn't as I booked midst crisis when I learned we had no hotel booked for that night!!!, so they helped me fixing... The room had good space, clean, comfortable beds and great location with many food options nearby.

We could have used air-conditioning. It was a bit hot... But I'm conscious they are upgrading the rooms and unfortunately we stayed on the "old" part yet to be updated.

We had a beautiful welcome by the lady at the reception. The rooms, view and all the amenities were perfect. We arrived on the Christmas day so most of the town & the hotel restaurant was closed and we were well informed of this by the property. The property is walking distance from the Town centre. It also overlooks a vineyard. There are good walking & bicycle trails around the property plus few fruit orchards along with vineyards. The lady at the reception is very helpful and had all the information regarding the cafes that would be open for breakfast given it was a boxing day holiday.

The staff were amazing, the rooms were lovely and great value with plenty of parking and a great view from our second floor balcony. We had a visiting kitty who popped up for a pat and to give us some company on our second night so as cat folk, she obviously found her peeps! 🤣 I would certainly recommend Cromwell as a place to stay with the wineries close by and the heritage precinct as a highlight. This motel is central to them all with a bar and restaurant and exceptional hospitality from all the staff

The receptionist, a blonde female I didn't get to see her name badge but it appeared to begin with C, showed a really friendly manner, building up a rapport. She used my first name several times in conversation as I checked in, and as I handed her the room key on checking out, we entered into conversation about my trip along the Clutha Cycle Trail during my stay.

Beautiful location with a great view of the mountains. Very spacious room with a large bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice sitting area. Baloney view of mountains. Nice restaurant at hotel

There was no spa tub in the bathroom which was listed on the features of the hotel room.

Our breakfast was very very slow coming. Just 35 minutes for toast and a drink.

I did ask for a downstairs room as I am on crutches and do have a mobility problem. Friends staying with us managed to get downstairs at short notice.

Nice and quiet. Comfortable bed with nice bedding. Very clean. Lovely shower. Easy access to town and main highway.

The entrance way and steps up to the rooms is dark and worn . The outside exit stair is looking in need of new boards as they bend when walking down.

Clean and comfortable, and well-appointed room, staff were friendly and helpful, unfortunately breakfast service at the cafe was painfully slow (about 40 mins) and was over cooked and dry when it arrived.

Initial room was ok but bed was a bit saggy on one side and shower head was always pointing at shower door could not shower properly

Good location, spacious room, comfortable bed. Value for money.

Smoking on other unit balconies nearby including underneath our unit meant sitting on the balcony was unpleasant and we needed to close the outside doors to our room although it was a nice warm evening. Would be better for others to put smoking available only at one end of the complex. We enjoyed the place otherwise but unlikely to come back in Summer because of this.
