Sunning place, lovely big patio over the water, nice size apartment, decent kitchen, big comfy bed and all very clean, we had the ground floor apartment, can’t say what the upstairs apartments was like, never got to see them, but they do all have a balcony overlooking the lake There’s lot to do in the area, cycle paths on the doorstep and easy riding, lots of water activity and the town is a quick drive away, but a few steps away is a very welcoming bar and great food. Best place I’ve stayed so far in the 2 and a half months visiting

One group of the guests seem to be under the impression we all like the same music, very loud! I did complain (which I very rarely do) but was told they couldn’t really do much about it, at least it didn’t go past 10pm I know and understand that it’s not the fault of the property, it was just a shame as it did spoil the atmosphere, but that said I would still love to go back sometime

I love the breakfast n dinner!!! I love all the lovely staff!!! I love the spa!!!! I love the view!!!! I love the shower!!! I love the TV with Netflix n many options!!! The TV can connect to my phone is so handy! I love the WiFi speed!!!

BBQ facilities seems to no clean for long time😅 N kitchen pots are not clean. Kettle got mold...I clean by myself. Air conditioner is a little bit weird... About the balcony cushions ,few are very wet! A lot of water on the cushion. The wash machine n drier is outside in a small room.I was shocked that I just used for less 1 hour ,then the fire alarm went off ,each building n all the customers left their own buildings to stay outside 😨

Once again, our stay at Marsden Lake Resort was AMAZING. We are a local couple from Cromwell and absolutely love treating ourselves to a wee night away every now and then. This place is perfect, super close to home but yet seems like you're in a different country whilst sitting on your balcony over the water with all the beautiful mountains in the background. Staff are always exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the rooms are always immaculate and extremely comfortable. Busy saving my pennies as I would very happily live in one of these units. Highly recommend!!! We'll be back very soon!

I really enjoyed the deck it was huge, the rooms are a really good size. The kitchen is very well kitted out with a lot of extras I wouldn't expect. The spa was absolutely amazing big size. Very enjoyable

Little details on the cleaning have been over looked. In the bathroom the wall beside the toilet was dirty and the light shades above the island bar have a lot of built up dust/dirt, windows have spider webs on the inside. While waiting to check in looked at the reception bench it had very thick layer of dust. I don't know how you could improve it but the noise from upstairs when you are down stairs is quite disruptive especially in the morning with the toilet flushing.

Cromwell is a quaint little town, so we only stayed 1 night as a stop on our trip from Queenstown to Wanaka. The apartments were really comfortable and clean, and had great heating options. We also loved the lake view and watching the ducks from our balcony in the morning.

We booked 2 apartments to accommodate our family, however, even though we booked months in advance, we were not given rooms in the same building. Given that guests can't access other buildings, we had to run our shared items back and forth between apartment blocks, meeting outside each time.

View was beautiful, room was really clean and big spacious bathroom.

Upon arrival it was sprung on me that I needed a debit card to hand in which wasn’t stated on the booking. I didn’t have a physical copy on me so had to pay a $200 bond that will take up to 15 working days to come back. I understand why however I stayed at many Queenstown hotels prior to that day and wasn’t asked to do this. Keep in mind I paid before I arrived, just was a little gutted at the vibes at reception, put a downer to the start of our stay. Beautiful but won’t stay again.

Great outlook and peaceful setting. The rooms were very large and the facilties were of a high standard. The upgrade to the spa suite was worth it after a long drive from Te Anau.

The bathroom was a quite good but a bit tired. Could certainly do with a paint touch up. The shower tiles needed to be throughly cleaned. If wishing to dine at the restaurant, make sue you make a reservation. We were told by reception that it was a quiet night which wouldn't require a booking but it was fully booked when we arrived.

One of the more luxurious places to stay. Private lake to swim in too. The restaurant attached is quite good also. The upper room is what we stayed in and it was VERY nice. Big bath, modern bathroom, comfy bed. Large smart TV, balcony with table and chairs to sit out and watch the scenery. Really enjoyed staying here and would very likely stay here again when we come back to Queenstown.

An hour drive from Queenstown, on a one lane road, so it can be annoying making the drive. We stayed over NYE so it was alright as we left VERY early to make the journey to Queenstown. Everything else about the actual accommodation was great. No faults really.

The unit was lovely, clean and tidy. The waterway was gorgeous to look over and the outdoor deck was awesome when the sun was on it. The restaurant food was huge portions and was really nice.

The spa pool was over full and it had too many chemicals in it. My skin started to burn instantly from the chemicals and the rash latest nearly 10 days. The front desk staff were too young in my opinion and a teenage girl in a school uniform was just hanging around chatting with them both at the reception and in the restaurant for a good couple of hours.

Always such a beautiful place to stay for a week while working in Central Otago so close to every town, yet peaceful and quiet, with stunning scenery, exceptional service and gorgeous rooms; makes for a treat of a place to stay. I highly reccomended as my favourite place to stay

Had to use outdoor furniture as desk but was easy to move it inside to accommodate laptop and dinner but the only thing that was not completely perfect
