We had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The room had all the amenities we needed, a nice kitchenette and comfortable bed. Good size too so plenty of room for our bags. It was quiet at night and we slept really well. It’s just a short drive from Hokitika or a 15ish min walk. We had breakfast in our room every morning which was very handy!

- the wifi worked well on the patio but was very patchy in our room and often did not work unless we moved outside. I think that may depend on which room you get. - the door to the bathroom did not slide very well, which was just a minor thing but would be great to fix

Easy check in, clean and tidy, quiet and had everything we needed. Easy to find on the main road. Our rooms were serviced daily which I hadn't;t expected but they have an eco policy which means we kept our towels and could recycle so that was great. we were ablate sign in to our Netflix on the smart TV and the kitchen had everything we needed and more.

There was no playground or area for the kids to play but we were busy out and about so it wasn't a big issue for our short stay.  Instead they had a big spa bath!!

Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Short walk to Glow Worm Dell. Facility to do our laundry but only after 2pm and as we were out & about didn't get the chance to use it.

Didn't realise one of the single beds was in the same room as double bed, will check next time I book, double bed not the most comfortable. But that fridge!!! The noisiest fridge ever, kept us awake!! Blimey! Even considered disconnecting it overnight. The noise would stop for 10 minutes now and then but you're then anticipating it starting again so still couldn't get to sleep.

The only concern we had was in the bath, there were 2 long blacks hairs left and neither my husband or I have long dark hair. ☹️☹️ Also did not think the shower over the bath ideal for older customers.

Room was large and had all that we required. Located on the edge of town but for us it was close enough that we could walk in the evening to the local eateries.

Laundry facilities were disappointing as there was a $10 charge (incl. wash powder) which I thought was excessive.

Clean and comfortable Bed was comfy

Maintenance in room next door. We were over for funeral, so we were looking forward to spending one day resting, but this didn't happen. Understand Maintenance is inevitable, We ended up at beach in our car resting

Unfortunately, we were woken by an incredibly loud fire alarms and had to evacuate the property. It turned out someone had been cooking and set off the fire alarm. Maybe some thought should be given to better removing fumes from the cooking area.

Lovely clean room and spacious bathroom with large shower, A very comfortable bed. A lovely kitchen area with separate table. Good parking and location for travelling up and down the Westcoast using Hokitika as our base.

The bath was not comfortable As it was a triangle

Bit further from town than I thought but still walkable. Glow worm dell was close and very cool! Beach was close and full of interesting stones and rocks. Lovely clean and comfortable room.

No hot chocolate sachets for my daughter. Not a dislike but we usually find them when we stay places.
