The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and smelled nice.

The room was very dated - especially the bathroom. Can't remember if there was hot chocolate satches with the tea/coffee but it would be great to have this option for guests who don't drink either. We had some difficulty getting the heat pump to operate properly and there didn't appear to be clear instructions how to use it. Also, we are finding in more hotels we stay at, that glasses/cups get stored on the highest shelf and placed right at the back of the cupboard - making it difficult to reach for guests of a smaller heigh.

We got a warm welcome and given an orientation of the property and facilities. The reception staff was very attentive and answered all our questions and even sorted a room close to reception for an easier checkout. The suite was clean, had everything we needed and was cosy and warm. The internet was blistering fast and the room had a great 50 inch television which was a boon on a cold evening.

We had a one-bedroom suite. It was huge. Plenty of space. Good heat pump to keep us warm. Very comfortable stay.

The fittings are a bit dated (like from the 1970s), but functional. Could do with more plug points in more convenient locations, e.g., there was no plug point near one side of the bed, and the plug point in the lounge was in a strange (inconvenient spot). Minor hassles really.

Exceptional help from staff. Cleaners and manager. All very personable. Quick to respond to requests for assistance, and happy to do so. Charming place to stay...a definite retreat feel about the place. Love it!

Just the distance to town.. nearer the outer of town than CBD. Can't pinpoint any other faults or issues. It's a big property and feels very spacious in and outside.

The grounds need attention. It advertised park like grounds, the gardens were weedy, trees pruned a long time ago, but the rubbish not removed. The swimming pool was out of order. Signage and entrance area needs an overhaul.

Eric was friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and clean.

😊I booked it to have a swim but unfortunately it was undergoing maintenance. I totally understand the cost involved and how Covid has impacted on motels so I don't want this to be a negative and would love others to stay so the motel can continue to be awesome.

Great location, spacious room, a great stay. They also called me to say it's left my margarine and cheese, but I was too far away so I just said give it to the staff

Querkiness of room. Separate bedroom upstairs. Beautiful outlook onto well kept gardens at the rear. Closeness to town centre.

Door on bathroom faulty. Plug in bathroom did not work for hair straightener.

Very dated, (almost retro fun!) but warm, comfortable, extremely clean and quiet even though the Motel is on the main road.

Huge TV but struggled to connect to the wifi so couldn't be used. Nit picking though.

the bathroom floor was far too slippery. if you didn’t walk on a towel i would have certainly slipped over. even with casual shoes the floor tiles were slippery. no hood when i had just had a knee replacement
