Perfect, quiet location between Motueka and Kaiteriteri. The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous, the grounds were impeccable, and the room itself is a self-contained studio with a kitchenette and sitting area. As great as the location and room were, the hosts, Jane and John, were the best hosts in all of our stays in NZ. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable and make the most out of our trip to that area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all adult travelers. And what an incredible value as well!

The chalet was perfect for us. It had all the facilities we could wish for and was warm and comfortable. Jane and John were fantastic hosts. They allowed us to use their 'greenhouse' to dry our laundry. The location is quiet rural, but attractions such as Kaiteriteri Beach and the Abel Tasman National Park walks are only a short drive away. We are already planning to return.

We liked everything about this property! We were given a very warm welcome by Jane the host and shown to our beautiful cabin/lodge. It was such a relaxing stay in this idyllic, very quiet setting(just outside of Motueka in an area called Riwaka). It was a perfect place for a rest after travelling for 2 weeks around the island - we only wish we could have stayed longer but they were fully booked and we know why! The place was spotless and very tastefully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and all the facilities were great. We managed to catch up with our washing with the use of their washing powder and machine. You could even help yourself to their ripe fruit if the trees!

Extremely well equipped, comfortable cabin in beautiful surroundings. Jane and John were very friendly and welcoming. They've thought of everything guests might possibly want for a lovely stay. Everything was super clean and top quality. Lots of helpful recommendations and information. Our hosts were a pleasure to talk with.

Nothing, it was all wonderful.

The chalet was very clean and quiet, away from the road. The basic kitchen was good for a couple of home cooked meals and the bed was comfortable. We used the bbq one night and it was great. The hosts, Jane and John were super friendly and welcoming and had some good suggestions for things to do around the area. We also did a couple of loads of laundry.

Terraced Chalets was the perfect place for us to base ourselves to see this area. The chalet is comfortable and very clean. We like to cook, so we made all our meals. The facilities allowed this to work perfectly. The porch was the perfect place to eat and enjoy the view. It was the hosts who made our stay extra special. Jane was there to check us in and make sure we had everything we needed.

I had 10 wonderful days here. The property is three chalets, each with their own parking. Each chalet is a very clean and modern studio with en suite. There’s small decking outside with a table and chairs. Views of the green hills. For me it was exactly what I wanted. A quiet peaceful rural escape 17 minutes from the Able Tasman National Park, and 10 mins from Motueka for restaurants and supermarket. I slept very well and being there was utterly restful. No noise at all. The owners were friendly and welcoming. In terms of facilities there is a sink, kettle, small fridge freezer and microwave. While it did not impact me, note there is no hob or cooker. The only other thing to note is you must have a car given distance to Abel Tasman and Motueka.

Just minutes from town Motueka & Abel Tasman National Park, our chalet was the perfect retreat for our 2-night stay. Immaculate, tastefully and thoughtfully appointed throughout; pre-dawn birdsong both mornings. Our hostess Jane was welcoming, accommodating, so ready to answer questions & point guests in the right direction. Highly recommend. 👍👍

Loved the location, squirreled away in the hills with only two other chalets kept it quiet and gave us lots of privacy. We took advantage of the BBQ setup and frequently ate outside enjoying the beautiful gardens.

I wasn't super keen on the parking, we were in the last chalet and it was incredibly tight which made me a little nervous getting in/out but that probably says more about my driving abilities than the property!

Extremely friendly welcome from lovely hosts with good information re local eateries. Riwaka pub close by does a reasonable meal. Chalets well appointed to eat in if required and very well appointed BBQ area with shelter.and every thing you need apart from your food. Privacy in each chalet easily maintained. Extremely clean units with good bathrooms. Lovely garden area and good views across Riwaka to Marahau and the Takaka hill. Not able to get great shots as raining heavily. Close to Marahau and Kaiteri - the start of the Abel Tasman. Perfect overnight break travelling to Takaka and Totaranui from afar.

Parking is a bit tight but manageable
