Clean. Large. Large comfy bed. Good kitchenette. French press for coffee lovers. Love the little bottles of milk if you take milk in your tea and/or coffee. Comfy jetted bathtub with shower head. Comfy bed and two large armchairs to watch TV. Great selection for TV / streaming. We mainly watched live cam of the little blue penguins!! Friendly helpful front desk that happily accommodated our request for an additional night. Easy parking right by our room. Great information in room about many things to see in the area. We wished we had time to stay another day here.

Our room was close to road so could hear traffic but our days were so full of exploring the area that we had no problems sleeping.

The kitchen is fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable and there is a heated blanket available for the colder evenings. The heater was very effective. The TV has numerous channels available including Netflix so we were able to watch a film in the evening. Manager was very helpful with local information and recommended taxi companies.

The shower is over the bath which was a little difficult if you have disabilities but I believe there are Disability Access units at the facilities. It is not near the centre of town so you need to drive in or get a taxi.

Large, clean, comfortable, modern apartment within 20min walk through town to Victorian precinct.

We booked an extra night the day before our arrival and were charged $30 more for not only that night but also the one we had booked well in advance. We were told it was because they had to upgrade our room to accommodate the extra night, but when I checked back on my records it was the same room as originally booked.

The room was large and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was large and spotless with plenty of towels etc. A short walk in to the centre of town to shops, restaurants and the The Victorian part of the old town. Close enough to walk to the public gardens, which were spectacular.

Unfortunately, our room was next to the main highway so a little noisy at times. It was certainly not a bad enough to keep us awake though.

Fantastic kitchen, wished we were staying longer to try it out. Loved all the penguins in the garden, great hand wash, shampoo etc, beds were comfy (and thanks for splitting the king bed into 2 singles), heaters worked quickly on a freezing night. Milk in a glass bottle! was much appreciated.

Minor things only: we ran out of coffee and tea (4 sachets of each supplied) on the first evening, and didn’t realize until it was too late that we had to get filter coffee from the office. Shower was in a wet room and everything left on the floor got soaked, including my slippers, which I thought were well out of the way. We got very excited that “room service” was offered, only to discover that means the room will be serviced, not that we could order food!

Spacious and clean room. Great bathroom with a spa tub. The spa tub was amazing and easy to use. 5 minutes drive to the penguin colony - good for tourists. Easy check-in/out. The heater in the room worked well. Good parking. Amazing TV - Netflix included.

Nothing that I didn't like. Just not so sure why there's a bonus question asking about the view from the room - outside the window is the street. And a fire station right across the road.

The size of the room was good. The location worked well for us. Clean and tidy.

Parking spaces were tight and tricky when the rooms/ spaces were full. No outdoor space for families so we had kids bouncing balls right outside the unit for quite some time. Noise from the units around us was a bit unexpected based on the reviews we read. Not enough power points.

Welcoming owner. Beautifully appointed room. Kitchen well kitted out with 4 of everything and salt and pepper shakers. Bathroom super sized and ideal if in a wheel chair. Free Netflix a bonus. Bed super comfortable. Shampoo etc in easy to use bottles not attached to the wall. Electric blanket another bonus. Wonderful place to stay.

Room was very clean, spacious and warm. The staff were lovely.

The bed was just OK but not wonderful. The bathroom was obviously under repair as some tiles were missing and tin was siliconed in place - I assume these will be replaced but we were not notified either way. We were in a ground floor unit - I suggest asking for a upper floor unit as we could hear every step the people in the upper floor took and could even hear there toilet flush/shower going early in the morning.

Lovely spacious room with kitchen area seperate and away from bed. Bed was nice and comfortable with very classy bathroom. Spa bath was relaxing and enjoyable. I would recommend this motel anytime..A+

It was extremely hot at night so we opened the windows, not taking into account that the motel is on the main street. It sounded as if every vehicle was about to drive through the room. The motel did supply the room with a fan but it was noisy also, so we had turned that off. At 6am I shut all the windows and the noise was greatly reduced allowing us to sleep well. Wee note to self: dont open the windows when trying to sleep..lol When arising I decided to try the spa bath, which was lovely, although eventually one of the water jet covers at the back of the bath popped off and needs fixing. The office was locked up when I went to drop the key off and mention this, so I couldnt let the staff know.
