We loved everything. Location (right across the road to the Surf Club where our daughter took lessons, 5 min walk to centre); kitchenette had everything we needed a normal sized fridge; beds were so comfy and luxurious; airconditioning; great layout with the spare room of 2 singles and storage, very spacious main room; excellent modern furnishings; Modern bathroom and strong shower; Sky channels; Rm 1 was great with parking right by our door and a small view of the water. I also appreciated the sustainability effort of collecting and cleaning our rubbish bin with no plastic liner; and offering change of linen and towels when needed. The lady (sorry I forgot to ask her name) was lovely and welcoming. We had such a great time here that we'd love to come back.

Best location you could ask for if you want to go to Orewa beach, because the surf lifesaving club + cafe + beach facilities are all directly opposite this motel. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. It even had a decent aircon/heat pump unit, which is always a nice surprise. During the day we could hear a little bit of traffic sound but at night it was silent, so sleeping was easy. The staff were all very warm and welcoming.

Our fridge wasn't on when we arrived, but we didn't notice until nighttime. By this time our complimentary milk was probably spoiled, though we didn't risk it. Just a minor thing!

The room was beautifully decorated, lots of attention to detail, stylish and comfortable. We stayed in a bath suite room though didn’t use the bath as weather very hot. It was very spacious throughout. The bed was super comfy with lovely pillows. The location was perfect, beach just over the road and shops, bars and restaurants easy walking distance.

The wifi was a bit temperamental. I thought the room could do with a separate set of drawers / shelves for our belongings as it had plenty of space for it. I’m nit picking though, it was a fabulous room!

Great furniture and fittings. Very tastefully decorated and presented. Location opposite the beach is excellent. The bed and linens were spotless and comfortable. The shower pressure is excellent. The bathtub was deep and nice to soak in.

There was a very persistent smell of sewage/stagnant water coming from one of the drains - either the shower, toilet or bathtub. We had to air the bathroom every time. There is a short step town from the main level in the bathroom but because the pattern on the floor is the same, I fell twice. There was yellow grip tape at one time but it has worn out and now looks the same colour as the floor. The restaurant across the road is convenient but be aware that if you want to consume alcohol, you must be a member of the surf lifesaving club ( which you can join for a small fee )

This is a beautifully kept property. Tucked away on a beachside street. New furnishings, lush carpet and huge TV with Netflix for viewing. We only stayed one night. Property owners lovely. Leather couch freshly cleaned and polished. Plenty pf supplies to dine in or out. Pizza place near by was delicious. Not water views but right on the beach. Parking tight but right in front. Nice dark and quiet room

No heating in kids room. But didn’t really matter we just left the door open and it was fine.

Bed comfortable, room nice and clean with lovely decor. Good location, able to access other places easily. Great having the beach on our door step. Good communication from the friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

Just the ground floor felt wide open to public. Sitting at the little tables in front of our room and we had a random teenager High on something Walk up to us swearing and aggressive. But other than that it is a great place.

Very nicely renovated and decorated room, right across from the beach. Staff were very accommodating.

It's not clear from the pictures that this is in fact just a renovated, drive in motel. So the "balcony" isn't private, it's a walkway between the rooms, and you have little privacy from other guests. I thought the price a bit high considering the lack of privacy. Also, the parking is very very tight if you have a large vehicle.

Lovely accomodation, a short walk to restaurants and bars, across the road from the beach. Very easy check in and out, helpful friendly staff. Comfortable bed, pillows and a bonus ...robes. Lovely spa bath and very nice bathroom amenities. This property was extremely well priced for what you got, lovey decor, adequate kitchen facilities. I would definitely recommend.

Could not find a fault

Location directly across from the beach. Very friendly welcome when we arrived. Everything you need in a kitchen, decor beautiful, bedrooms had lovely decor and quality bed linen and bed sooooo comfortable. There was an air con and ceiling fan in lounge and fans in each bedroom plus the back bedroom had an external door and balcony as well so we had a lovely breeze coming through. Whole apartment very clean.

Beautiful unit with high end facilities. Just far enough out of the main hustle/bustle from the main village but close enough to walk if you wanted to. Lovely having the beach right across the road.

We had a mix up in our room that was booked due to a software change which was disappointing but the manager went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable in the beautiful room we had. On returning from dinner we had bubbles on ice and lovely bathrobes for us to enjoy. I would certainly stay there again.
