We loved the location and the fact that it was a lovely quiet spot. The shared kitchen facility was excellent as was the spa pool which we enjoyed very much. It was very pleasant being able to invite my whānau to come and join us for a cuppa on the Friday afternoon of our stay. Thank you. There was plenty of room to enjoy in the kitchen, lounge and pool area with my grandchildren. My grand daughter and son also loved playing the piano in the lounge. Perhaps you could make a guitar accessible in the lounge as well. I could have joined them in singing and playing this with the piano.

Perhaps it is time to replace the double bed in the room we stayed in. My partner said he slept in the same room with his ex-wife over 15 years ago and it was the SAME BED!!! It was rather an uncomfortable sleep so perhaps time to up-grade the bed. It would be nice to provide good quality, local (Puhoi), organic milk in the kitchen fridge for guests sharing the kitchen instead of the packaged samples provided. Why not support your local businesses.

The family suites catered for our whānau of twelve. The suites were very clean, comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. My whānau throughly enjoyed the bbq and pool area. For those whom have babies or toddlers just bear in mind the Warkworth Pub is across road and it pumps!! Everything is in walking distance and there is a walkway along the awa (river). It was a great way to end our whānau Kirihimete party for 2024! Thank you to all the Warkworth Lodge staff who went above and beyond.

Quiet location within the town and a lovely double room with access to the deck outside and table and chairs. Guest kitchen and lounge room exceptional. Presume this was a lovely old home renovated for its use as a lodge? Tea/coffee biscuits available within our room as well as in the shared large guest kitchen which has full facilities. Pool and spa pool looked very inviting but we weren't there long enough to try it all out. Outdoor areas well maintained with barbeque and outdoor tables.

No windows to open for fresh air in our room. Only option would be to leave the patio door open. The ensuite was a little pokey but adequate. Not enough car parking available, but the property is limited in this respect due to its location in Warkworth.

Absolutely loved the location and it being super close to walk to shops and take aways. Loved the facilitairs, swimming pool, hot tub, lounges and beautifully clean kitchen.

The only thing we didn’t like was our bed. It was extremely uncomfortable and really needs to be replaced. Other than this very important part of our stay everything else was perfect and would highly recommend Warkworth Lodge

Loved the character and decor in the communal areas and fabulous kitchen. Beautiful comfy queen bed in bedroom. Lots of space in the family unit, so great for our sized group.

The spa pool had a slight smell and we were curious when it last had chlorine. We couldn't get ranch slider out to deck to lock, you might want to investigate.

The procedure for making a reservation on Booking.com is hopelessly complicated and we nearly gave up and went elsewhere. The procedure to make a booking AND specify the departure date is something we have never encountered elsewhere. Our stay was excellent but we will not be using booking.com for any future reservations and will make sure to tell others to beware.

The location is walking distance to the shops (including supermarket). Also, we had a one-brm suite that was really spacious and this was ideal for a group of people to gather together and get ready for a wedding (hair, makeup etc). The place is surrounded by lovely trees and greenery. The lodge also has a large main lounge and kitchen opening onto pool area and its really super for groups.

It is close to the motorway so there is road noise. However, our unit was further away and I didn't really find it too much of a problem.

Very old style, large, comfortable home with a small private swimming pool and a constantly hot hot tub outside. We enjoyed our stay in this period residence. Some bedrooms are ensuite and others are not. Ensuite in the blue room is very compact. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Good facilities in the kitchen. This house has a "family run" type atmosphere.

It's hard to think of anything we didn't like and we don't want to be nit picking because our overall impression was very positive.

The lodge had a lovely old world charm about it. Super handy location as Warkworth township only one or two minutes walk.

Because the lodge is quite close to the main road - it gets bit noisy with traffic but thankfully was quiet during the night. With the new motorway bypassing Warkworth the traffic is not nearly as bad as it used to be in this area
