Beautifully presented and curated room, with stunning views over the water and Paihia. Great location, within easy access to Paihia cafés and restaurants for dinner. Breakfast served in owners accommodation - on their balcony overlooking the stunning water views. A 'Captain's Table' arrangement, where we were able to converse with other guests and the owners which was lovely. Delicious breakfast - top marks to our hosts. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 nights in Allegra. Lovely views, very clean and quiet; and great hosts with good recommendations. We didn’t have the property breakfast as we never woke up for it, which we subsequently regretted as the quality seemed significantly better than what you can get in Paihia.

Not to do with the property in itself, but there was some construction going on in one of the buildings that started every morning at 8 am. If you’d like a lie-in, bring some earplugs.

Amazing and quality service. Brita and her husband were absolutely lovely to us and accomodating to our last minute cancellations, accidentql double bookings, and last minute new bookings etc. Such amazing hosts who welcomed us. The rooms were all absolutely stunning. No matter what room you have, you will have a beautiful view of the bay. THE breakfast was amazing!! Home made fresh bread and ingrediants, eggs cooked to our liking, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, too much you guys are. You guys are so great and we cant wait to come back thank you for having us loud bunch 💙💙 your home is stunning!!

No matter what room you choose you will have a panoramic view of the bay, an outdoor seating area, and the fantastic breakfast (fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, cheese, cold meats, and cooked-to-order eggs). Rooms vary: bed size, stairs inside/outside/none. Just a 5-minute drive to Waitangi Treaty Grounds. There is a path downhill to Paihia but plenty of parking in the village if you want to drive (generally more than 2 hours you will have to pay to park). Deep Water Cove snorkel trip with https://bayofislandssnorkelling.co.nz/ was great.

This is not a self-catering stay. There is a refrigerator and tea/coffee kettle but no microwave or other cooking option. There are plenty of places to eat in Paihia.

Very well appointed, spacious with ease of access on the ground floor and great parking. Spectacular views with wonderful outdoor areas, could totally chill and unwind. Amazing breakfast - fresh fruit, yoghurt, delicious bread & croissants, coffee/tea, cheese and meats plus eggs cooked your way. Brita and Heinz were fantastic friendly and ‘down to earth’ hosts with years of local knowledge, would recommend this stay to anyone.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a special place to stay - the views from our room over the bay were spectacular. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and exploring the islands. Brita and Heinz are generous hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spacious and well equipped. This has to be one of the best places I have stayed.

The view was amazing. The hosts, Britta and Heinz were friendly and provided us with some great tips regarding the area. The breakfast on the last day was delicious, and the rest of the time we very happily used the kitchen in the apartment to make our own meals. Daily servicing of the apartment was an added bonus. We highly recommend this place and would stay again if we were in this area.

Allegra House has been a highlight of our trip so far. Everything about our stay was fabulous. Brita and Heinz are superb hosts; their breakfasts are so delicious and our apartment was so luxurious. The icing on the cake was the incredible views over the bays. Don’t hesitate to- just book!

Perched overlooking the bay it's a sight to behold. I didn't think the view could get better, but breakfast (delicious breakfast) from the upper patio proved me wrong. I felt fortunate to have found Allegra House and to have slipped in for a night even though I wanted to stay longer (and would have had they not been full for the next night).

That we didn't stay longer. The town and the surroundings have a lot to offer.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast!!! The top suite takes your breath away the moment you walk in. Even better than the pictures if you can believe it!!! We had an incredible view from every room. Brita & Heinz are such lovely people! The delicious and healthy breakfast are not to be missed. This was the highlight of our 3 week trip! Thank you! Silvana & Rick
