The location was great we could easily walk to the ferry terminal to go to Russell and shops, cafes etc. Beds were very comfortable and room was basic but clean. We spent most of our time in Paihia sightseeing so we really just needed a comfortable place to sleep after long days. Jim the owner gave us our key early so we could head off for the day on the morning we arrived so we would be able to just come back to our room later that night.

Instructions were good after we read them - couldn’t find the light switch until after we read them !

We stayed at Aarangi Tui for 4 nights. The Owner is friendly and left us alone to enjoy our stay. The rooms were made up beautifully each day. Everything remained safe in the room, and the Owner is concerned about the noise of neighbors, even though we were there over the New Year Period, when people will tend to be noisy and enjoying themselves. The facilities are great. Our second time here, and we will be coming again.

Great location. Easy walk to wharf, shops and restaurants. Thank you for the early check in. Family run. Yes it’s older but comfortable. Good area to prepare own food.

The step up and down to shower. I was worried I would slip/fall as I stepped out. Would have loved a hand rail to hold.

The managers were great.The husband and son went fishing and treated us with fresh snapper fillets.Delicious meal and much appreciated.They also upgraded us from 1 Bedroom unit to a 2 bedroom one. The one br unit is totally unsuitable for more than one night. We are going back ,hopefully, in August in unit 2 again. Thanks Lee and Jim. Rosemary and Hans

The property is great! Everything you need is available in the room. We have now stayed 3 times in 2 weeks because of how comfortable a stay we had there. Great hosts who are so accommodating with our request to park our boat. The rooms are clean and I was impressed with having a plunger coffee pot available. Beds are comfortable and location is perfect. Just a short walk to all the shops. Will definitely be back to stay!

This is a great spot, just a short walk to the centre of Paihia and the beaches. The apartment has everything I needed and is spacious and comfortable. Jim was friendly and available if I needed anything else.

All good really - there is no aircon but I knew that when I booked it.

The location was excellent, very central. We had the small studio, which is very compact (as stated on the website) but there was good use of the space, and it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy. It was a treat to have a small cafetiere with ground coffee provided too.

Great value for money and excellent location. Well equipped for a comfortable stay. Older style unit and well worn which is reflected in the price. If you want cheap, comfortable and practicable accommodation near the centre of Paihia it is ideal.
