Great spacious, clean, modern large rooms with fridge and small cooker and microwave

It was quite a bit away from the centre of town but plenty of amenities nearby which was useful We personally didn’t like the lack of privacy with other guests constantly up and down the stairs outside our room meaning we had to keep the curtains closed … but I would hasten to add this is a personal preference

The room was huge and the beds were comfortable, even the pull-out sofa bed. It was nice to have a little kitchen area included. We also took advantage of the hot tub out on the patio area one night. The location was good. Off the main road so quite quiet, but not too far to drive to town or other attractions.

The manual said that rooms would be cleaned daily; however, no one ever came to clean ours. Staff was helpful when I went to ask for another towel and toilet paper but I'm still not sure why they weren't serviced. The parking can be tricky when the attached restaurant is open. One night we returned to find no spaces in the lot and had to wait for staff to leave the restaurant for the evening before we could park.

Was a nice motel at a good price. Had a spa unit which was ok. A bit of a drive from Rotorua CBD but as most people have a car this is not a problem. Would stay here again

Had breakfast at the hotel and was a bit weird and was horrible. Had to order the night before and give a time for the breakfast for $18. Only a cooked breakfast or Japanese breakfast was available. Cooked breakfast was horrible. Was cooked before we arrived. Coffee served in a paper cup. Poached egg hard. Toast cold and bacon and sausage burned. And was a very small portion. Easily the worst cooked breakfast I have had in years. They also do Sushi in this restaurant and it looks so cheap and dead,, I would avoid this restaurant for anything.

Good location. Not to far from shops etc. liked the Izumi experience. Really enjoyed it. Good value for money. One thing is maybe the extra stuff such as the hot stuff could be selected by patrons u stead of all of the list on the buffet menu. We appreciated it very much but there was some that we didn’t eat so it could save money or products moving forward. I would have only selected 3 items from the buffet only but really enjoyed the experience. Will be definitely going again next time I am in rotorua. Thank you.

Loved the room good amount of space we had a hot tub out back which was great to come back to after having a big day out it was nice to just relax and unwind. This place is the perfect place to stay it’s near most activities skyline gondalas zorbs etc but also around a 5min drive to eat street and town centre. On site is a beautiful tidy and clean restaurant which we dined in and we had no faults you also get 15% off food when you stay here. You can see the hard workers cleaning and making sure your room is serviced wiping doors and floors outside I was blown away. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely book here again. Only one thing which was on our last night we didn’t get hot water for the hot tub it was warm but not that hot water temp you like for a hot tub very minor

Excellent clean room

The Restaurant was disappointing. Apparent guest discount only applied to some parts of the menu, not others. When we pointed out that isn't what the advertising says, they said "Yes, we should change it!! Food was bland & lacked variety especially for a Saturday night. Definitely would not eat there again. Had to park on the street the 2nd night as there was no parking left in the grounds. Very surprised & not too happy about that.

Asure was comfortable, clean, affordable and welcoming. Tyler - the receptionist is beyond and above. Her welcoming smile, cheerfulness and fantastic customer service is memorable. To meet such an amazing person as the first point of call is just awesome. We booked one night, decided to stay another. Tyler had a bit of an issue with a slow computer system that morning but assured me she would get it sorted and she absolutely did. She is the very best. Thank you Tyler. You are an asset to Asure and I hope you are recognized for that. There was also one other lady (sorry I didnt get her name) we were changed rooms on our 2nd night and she popped in to see if we were happy with our room. That was so nice of her as she didnt need to check on us at all.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Astrid at reception was exceptional, and promptly sorted out a billing issue with Booking.com, for which we were very grateful. Her communication regarding this was excellent. The room was a good size and we appreciated the kitchenette.

It was a bit noisy from people in the room below us- a family with children. We don’t have an issue with families, it was just the way the building was designed that the noise came directly through the back windows of the unit and into the bedroom area. Distance from the center of town was a little further than anticipated.

Great location and room was as described. Spa baths worked and were great.

Only one washing machine and dryer - laundry was shut at 8pm so we were unable to wash and dry sports clothes for the next day even though we had lined up from 5pm. Spoke to receptionist who had no leniency with this so had to head into town to find a laundry mat. Car park was always filled by other cars so we needed to park out on the round. We didn’t mention this to staff as we felt the room was still safe just inconvenient.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were very attentive, especially the lady at reception. Facilities were very tidy and well kept. My children enjoyed swimming in the Pool. We dined at the Japanese restaurant twice during our stay and benefited from the discount as we were staying at the motel. Our room had a private spa, it was very relaxing. The Bed/Pillows were comfortable to sleep on and we enjoyed having the Smart TV to login to our Netflix account.
