So grateful to the lovely lady who checked me into the hotel. Her attention to care of those checking in went above and beyond. I really appreciated her exceptional service, wonderful smile and actually giving a shit about a complete stranger. I wish I took the time to ask her name. Her empathetic nature is rare and hard to find these days especially in this industry. The room was awesome. The beds here are so comfortable that you don't want to get out of bed. The complimentary cookies I really liked. Great shower pressure and overall just a really great place to stay.

We enjoyed being central to everything. Our friends also stayed next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. Extra bed was good although we didn’t use it. Robes were clean & fresh. Bathroom was clean, fully supplied with necessities. Sheltered parking was a bonus especially as the weather was not great. Pity we didn’t stay longer, and we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the restaurant.

There were ants in the kitchen so we couldn’t leave any food on the bench.

We had dinner at Else’s. Service was great

I was surprised that they asked for $100 bond that was going to be refunded to my account.? after the housekeeping had been done.

For a day stopover I fine the Tuakau hotel serves its purpose. that everything was a walking distance to meet what you need. Staff are friendly and service that I cannot fault. The locals were friendly . Food was excellently. It a blessing, a place not far from the city. I would not hesitate to come there again just to get out of the busy life of the city. to be able to relax and enjoy the quite and clean environment.

None it reminds me of my home island very quite fresh air friendly people and excellent food what else do I need to be able to go somewhere to relax. and not too far from the busy noisy city.

Graat location within walking distance to everything. On-site parking free of charge. Bed was really comfortable. Great shower pressure. Sky TV with coffee making facilities.

A lot of street noise and noise from the bar downstairs. House keeping didn't attend to make room up until after 3. The street abd teain noise wouldn't deter me from staying again just making other aware in case they want somewhere really quiet.

This 1825 hotel has been beautifully upgraded to comfortable rooms with lots of plug ins, cozy warm robes and slippers. I loved the funky lift and we enjoyed the little sitting area, complete with beautiful orchids, at the top of the lift. The dining room had a great pizza and hot fudge Sundaes. We came off a long flight from Canada and Tuakau was easy to find. We stayed two nights and enjoyed exploring the local beaches and countryside. We enjoyed it so much we are returning before we head home.

Use to live in Tuakau 85 till 93. Job well done on the old Pub. Tuakau certainly has changed. Lovely visit. Because of the time I stayed I never really saw many staff. Had a Lovely meal on last night and kitchen and staff handled a big birthday party plus all other dinners very very well. Thank you.

Have to remember to make booking directly to the Accommodation as I didn't realize that I would get charged one whole night by making booking on line. My Bad.

I liked how the room was comforatble and it had everything I needed to make sure I had a comfortable stay.

The dishwasher was broken when I tried to do the dishes the evening before I left. The window in the room ceiling didnt have a blind and the light distracted my sleep. The room was very warm and the air conditioner would of helped.

Partner thoroughly enjoyed the room as bed was super comfortable for him. Loved the pressure from the shower and the fact that the elevator was available for him to use

Too be honest we would have preferred a bath but the pressure from the shower made my partner happy, so there wasn't anything that disappointed us at all.

The on duty man was really good. There was an issue with our room and he fixed it almost straight away. Was helpful and very friendly.

There was a bad smell in our original room but it was ok because the duty manager moved us straight away.
