So close to services. Comfortable walking distance as in less than one block from major supermarket and chemist amongst other stores. Comfy as bed. Nice and clean. Kitchen equipped enough to reheat or stove top cook. Host wasnt so chatty or helpful upon arrival but lovely and super helpful the next morning. Bad hair day maybe!! Lovely lake views from our second storey unit. Warm unit with spare blankets. Generous sized bathroom/toilet.

The dehumidifer set up as it blocked access to cupboards and restricted table seating. The room was small anyway but that made it worse. No other concerns. If windows were open there was a lot of traffic noise which we personally dislike but others may not even notice. Only three pillows and no cushions was not quite enough to sit on bed to watch tv in comfort. No couch or other armchairs.

The room was very spacious with a comfortable 2 seater, so we could sit relaxed watching tv (instead of lying on the bed). The separate kitchen was real good. We accidently paid twice for the accommodation (first through booking.com and then at the motel). Within 24 hours we had a refund of one payment. Well done !! The distance to the waterfront was 5 minutes walk. Great

There were a good number of ants in the kitchen in the morning. I was glad there was not an open packet with biscuits .

I wasn't expecting it to be a nice place as the picture shows a bit old but when I checked in it was the opposite of what I expected. The place is very clean, smells good, linens are new, room is very spacious, TV is big and has youtube, netflix, and disney, and the kitchen is clean and not smelly. There's parking lot available within the vicinity. It is a walking distance to the city. There's also a heater which really works well and the bathroom is really clean. I would definitely recommend this place and if I'm coming back to Taupo I would be staying there 100% for sure. It's a good value for money. Stayed in the studio apartment for 3 days and 2 nights and paid cheaper than the other motels.

It was basic but very clean and a very convenient walking distance to the main shopping centre. We had two bedrooms and a lounge area, kitchen and bathroom, so it had lots of space and a back door to a small grass area which was good for the kids to run around on. The kids enjoyed the spa which was very near to our room. The heatpump kept the room very cosy.

The bed was not comfortable it had a dip in the middle and the couch was too firm to be comfortable.

Good central location to CBD. Reception was particularly friendly and welcoming and when asked what we were doing in Taupo, handed us some discount vouchers to the attraction we were visiting. Rooms were very nice and comfortable and appreciated by our party of 10 and having three units to meet our needs.

We were notified after 9pm by the Whitewater Rafting company that State Highway 1 to Turangi would be closed in the morning 7am-7pm due to a truck accident and we had to leave an hour earlier than expected to travel a longer detour route for our 9am Whitewater River Rafting trip. Sorry we left without saying goodbye and thank you for a great but brief stay.

It was clean - my top priority! It was roomy with a separate bedroom in the standard unit. It had a kitchen so you could cook if you wanted - this included a microwave and a half size fridge. Unit 6 is on the upper level with a set of outside stairs on either end of the complex. Parking was outside the room and free. Had a distant view of Lake Taupo from the lounge. Room was quiet and a cheaper price than most. Close to town - could walk but we drove.

This was stay was such a lovely surprise. For the tariff we weren't expecting as much as we got. The fully supplied kitchen meant that if you wanted to you could prepare your own food, the unit was spacious and included a separate dining area with a table and chairs, the separate bedroom, the huge comfortable sofa. The location was awesome, good parking and within a short walk to town and the lake. It was all fantastic, we would definately come back for a longer stay.

Due to the age of the building, the windows were single glazed so I hear some outside noises, but it didn't affect the warmth, the unit was lovely and warm on our cool overnight stay.

Really spacious, full kitchen with all you need. Good pressure shower Quiet considering roads on 3 sides and upstairs downstairs. Lots of parking. Although not marked by unit so I had to park on the opposite end of the carpark from my unit. Staff were great, very acommodating even when we were late to check in, very clean room and big double bed in the big room, lots of coffee and tea options provided, and was a short walk to the pub & grub and other food and shopping spots in Taupo.

There was a wet towel left in the shower when we arrived, and they forgot to provide our little milk - but when we went to reception to ask for milk they did give that to us quickly with no fuss. The single beds were quite saggy (but the large bed was great).

Well placed, a spacious unit. A bit old, but well kept. Pity I was on the first floor for my luggage, but it had some view. Easy check in and check out. Good wifi. Worth going back. Easy to walk to the lake and most shopping and eateries.

Nothing, really, except the stairs with my suitcase, but nothing tragic. The staff offered to help, but it was not so bad.
