At our age, my husband and I really appreciate being able to relax by sitting in comfortable chairs with good high back support & preferably with feet raised. I enjoyed watching TV in the evening in a lazy boy chair.

The room was cold when I arrived in the evening at the notified time. The heater had been turned on but was old and slow. After a long trip I would've really appreciated arriving into a warm room. I had expected to access free WiFi via a login code in the room. I didn't discover until too late that you had to go back to the office to be given the access code.

The lodge, and Ray (the owner), were so lovely! The place actually exceeded my expectations because I was unaware how LARGE the room is. There is an entire downstairs with a living/dining area and a kitchen that is very equipped with utensils, pots&pans, and cleaning supplies, and a huge bathroom, and then upstairs is the room with two beds. More than enough space for myself, and i believe the downstairs sofa can actually be turned into a sofa bed. The place is also pretty close to restaurants, and the beach (which you can see from your window). Wonderful value, and I would be happy to stay here again. I didn't really hear the train, but maybe I am desensitized to those noises from where I live.

Room overlooked "Caroline Bay" & the beach. Ideally located, walking distance to some excellent cafe's and the main town centre & beach. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom and shower was OK. Linen & cutlery provided also clean. No issues at all.

Close to the main road, but our room (#14), was far enough away from the traffic to be very quiet throughout the night. There's train track is right between the room and Caroline Bay . . however, despite 2 trains coming through, they were very quiet and we weren't unduly disturbed.

We stayed in the villa - which was very spacious and had plenty of room for four adults. The kitchen and living area were well appointed. At check in, the staff (and their dogs) were very friendly and happy to answer any questions - they gave good advice for a dinner option. The towel art on some of the beds were impressive.

The motel is on a busy road which makes it very easy to find but we could hear some of the trucks going by - but we all did have a good night's sleep.

Great that you can bring your dog with you. I expected due to this that the cleanliness and smell wouldn't necessarily be excellent however boy was I wrong, the room smelt amazing! Fresh and clean was my first impression. One of the owners dogs took a liking to me too which was sweet, even came to visit during my stay! Great size TV with sky and apps, comfortable lounge chairs, amazing view and everything you could need. Already booked to stay again.

Overall nice central location. Staff were very pleasant and they have some dogs that come and say hi. The place was very clean and the presentation of the room was very good. I would happily recommend it.

It would have been nice to have a small sofa to relax on and the Wifi was a little bit weak. The only other negative was the noise of the traffic but can't really complain when you're central to everything.

Everything felt new and cared for, massive 65” tv. I had the best nights sleep, such a comfortable bed. The whole place was so clean and fresh.

I made dinner for the family, unfortunately no extractor fan so opened all windows as didn’t want to stink out the room while cooking steak and still the fire alarm went off. Not a complaint more of an observation.

The view was amazing! The lady at reception was so welcoming and an absolute sweetheart! Our room was fantastic! Spa bath, view.... on point! The master having sky was a winner! The bed could potentially be upgraded to a king and a little more firm as it was a bit of role together due to myself and husbands size difference and the mattress been Super soft. Other than that it was the best stay we have experienced in a long time!

Very accommodating staff, we asked to be moved to a quieter room away from the road. Moved to a lovely room overlooking the sea, beaut twin recliner to have a lazy day with movies, dozing, reading and generally regrouping

Front room very noisy with traffic and not the best bed. Both of us not great with stairs to utilise the single beds upstairs

Super comfortable apartment with everything you need. The view of the bay was fabulous, and so were the hosts, and their adorable puppy.

I didn't realise when I made the booking that there were train tracks right below the house however only one train went past that evening so it wasn't a problem
