Such a nice place. Very nice, comfortable, spacious "studio" (where we stayed) with a covered carport for the car. Separated kitchen where you can cook your meals and eat. Nice hot shower with good pressure. Large and very comfortable bed. Comfortable sofa. Located in a very quiet place with a huge garden, trees, lawn and nice chairs. Easy 5 min walk to Geraldine center and the "4 square". Easy to find but is outside the main roads of Geraldine center therefore very quiet. Very easy check in and check out. They also have apartment with 1 separated bedroom and some with 2 bedrooms. Good wifi. Lovely welcoming people with very good communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so that we came again after our bike tour.

Fabulous location to Geraldine township (aka village) - 3 min walk, and to the sculpture walk! Family apartment was large and amenities were great, with a lovely big backyard for the kids to run around in, with swing + trampoline. Wifi was limited, but out and about anyway. Motel run by a family for families! Well stocked kitchen drink range Great value for the apartment. Would stay again!

Bathroom could be updated with a shower unit rather than a shower curtain, but still worked fine and shower was excellent! Couldn't book 2 nights in a row as left late bookings! Glad to get 1 night at least.

Plenty of space - pet friendly with adjacent walking area. Loved the high ceilings in this studio room.

Everything stuck to the frying pan even though it was super clean. The kitchen could do with more utensils too I htink. I wonder if a few non stick items would also be a good idea. I hated the water going everywhere from the shower. I know its a fashionable thing to have the bathroom open plan as it were but our water went everywhere! Sorry

Hidden gem in a really lovely town with a hint of old school NZ. Lovely welcome from the lady at reception who was super nice and helpful Clean spacious room had a great overnight stay. Would stay there again it's a good base to explore parts unknown in the area off the main highway.

We had a stopover on our way home, husband, miss 10 and me. The unit was two storey, there was a double bed downstairs, a double bed upstairs and two single beds. I didn't want to sleep upstairs and I didn't want miss 10 sleeping upstairs on her own. I visited reception to see if there was a fold down bed available for miss 10. There was one already made up in reception. I asked if we could use it, the answer was certainly. Straight away the guy at reception brought the bed to our unit. A great result.

The unit we stayed in was huge with separate upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. Facilities were excellent. The property is located in town on the main road but we never heard any traffic noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. We highly recommend this motel but it is probably a good idea to book well ahead of time to secure a room.

Great location just off the Main Street and Geraldine centre. Pubs and restaurants close walking distance. Classic kiwi motel - has all you need, clean but looking a bit dated. Receptionist man was great value!

Starting to look a bit dated - sofas, carpets and curtains feel stuffy but just as any other roadside motel.

Host very helpful. Full kitchen facilities much appreciated. Bathroom design not so good - no heated towel rail for instance and no basin bench. Full set up for wheelchair user however.

Dated decor but owner in process of updating. Wasn’t so keen on having to park car right outside French doors, but no view to speak of anyway.

Cleanliness was number one. Old motel but very clean. Beds very comfortable and lovely linen and towels etc. More than adequate facilities...cutlery etc. Closeness ...short walk into town.

The shower water ended up around the toilet base even although the curtain was pulled across that part of the floor. Maybe a standard lamp in the lounge instead of bright ceiling lights. Everything else great.

Location great, outdoor area was nice. Great customer service. Well cleaned and serviced.

Shower not good, water goes all over the place which is annoying. No dishwasher tablets even tho we had a dishwasher. The basin was broken and stuck back together a bit roughly.
