We had a 2 bedroom unit that was very clean and tidy basically spotless and very spacious for our family of 5. The host was very accommodating, when I booked the unit there was supposed to be a sofa bed, 2 singles and a large double bed, the host called to let me know the sofa bed was broken and would supply a pull out single bed, I said no it was fine we could make it work but he was adamant lol he said I have paid for 3 adults and 2 kids and he will make sure we all had our own beds. I thought this was awesome, it was a simple act from the host that shows he values his customers. When we checked in we were greeted by a lovely lady ( the hosts mother) she was very happy and cheerful 😊 which was lovely.

How long it took to fill the spa 🤣

Livingston is the best and only motel my family and I stay when going on holiday. Eddie is a wonderful person, greeted so kindly everytime, he makes you feel right at home compared to other hotel staff you are greeted by, all stiff and robotic lol. Eddie is friendly and happy. Rooms are clean, spacious, television has all the right channels, bed is comfortable and extra blabkets are a bonus if needed, the whole motel experience at Livingston is 'private and relax after a long journey' The spa pool is always my highlight of the stay. Would stay again every time. Eddie does well 👏

Absolutely nothing!

Size of the 2 bedroom apartment was very suitable for the 3 adults and 1 toddler. Plus the size of the 1 bedroom apartment was suitable for 2 adults and 2 toddlers. The spa tub is huge and can accommodate 4 people at one time. Rooms were cleaned and towels, coffee, sugar etc were replaced daily. The staff here are very welcoming and the rooms are well set out with all the things that you need for comfort. It has multiple televisions (with SKY channels) in the lounge and one bedroom. Rooms are clean and well stocked. The furniture is modern and comfortable.

Not sure why our beds were not remade in the 2 bedroom apartment when they were remade in the 1 bedroom apartment. We have never had this happen when we have previously stayed here. The HOT water for the spa tub is luke warm in apartment with 2 bedrooms. We suggest that you fill it with hot water only, then adjust it to the temperature you like.

Beutifully clean. There was a spa pool which some would love but not our thing. Room was really pleasant with aircon and rooms so clean.This place is so well looked after. We were asked everyday if we needed anything by the lady servicing the rooms, we were fine, she is so lovely. Eddie is great to deal with. We were down for an unfortunate family hiccup but were treated so well and offered longer stay if needed.

Staff is warm and welcoming and super friendly! The room we had was spacious, neat, tidy, bed was so comfortable, had everything we needed in terms of bed, kitchen and bathroom. Close to where we needed to be, not a super busy area and was nice and quiet

There were a couple of ants here and there in the kitchen and bathroom, it wasn’t a lot of them just three of four in the areas…but that was it. Had no other problems.

Everything .... our room was no 13. It had a spa pool, kitchenette, lovely and spacious room with a big TV and sky. Very clean, comfortable and slightly away from the other rooms for privacy. The Motel manager went above and beyond for us, he washed and dried our clothes while we were out of the premises and bought them all back to our room clean ... we really appreciated it, and he was so friendly to all the visitors, so we all got great treatment.

Checking out, we would have loved to had stayed longer.

Main reason for booking here was Spa Bath .. size of Spa was excellent, being able to freely utilise was excellent .. The bed was very comfortable. The cooking facility was all we needed even though there wasn't a stove, there was a microwave oven. We ate together at the dining table. Location was close to the Meeting Venue. There is WiFi, and Sky.

TV was positioned low which wasn't great trying watch from armchairs or bed, however, we were grateful to have a TV with Sky channels.

WE LOVE LIVINGSTON! No matter how long it's been, when we do return, the Standards are kept High in Cleanliness - Our Regular Unit I Book us is always Well taken Care of and The Spa is such a great place to melt - it has an Awesome Full Kitchen - Aircon - Awesome Shower with lots of pressure - We Love the Spa Apartment the most - Our Host Is The Nicest Hardworking Guy - We appreciate thee entire Livingston Staff for making our Experiences always Epic! Great host. Always makes us feel welcome. Fair price for accommodation. Quiet & clean. Spa in room. Water pressure of shower. Short drive into town. We always come here when we want to get away for the night or a few days. Its got everything we need for our stay. Thanks Livingston motel 😁

Ants. Make sure not to leave any food on benches Put in fridge/cover.

The host was super nice & polite as always. He made sure that we were happy with our room & that we were settled in ok. They also cook breakfast & dinner too. Good for those who want to stay in. Short drive to town. The room was clean & comfortable. Spa was big & relaxing. Awesome pressure of the shower. Our number 1 place to stay when we stay in whakatane.
