Awsome place to stay. Location was close to town , rooms were so clean you could smell it was clean when you walked in and neat and tidy. We were in wanganui for a birthday and was so clsoe to the venue. The family basically booked out the whole motel.The owners were so nice they mingled with all our family we loved them . Got to know both of them and we will definitely stay again. Big ups to there staff as well for keeping this place so neat and tidy. Price was reasonable as well.i rate this accommodation 11 out of 10 best place we have found to stay in Wanganui. Number 1 on my list thats for sure.

The room was comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and a good size. The spa bath was lovely! The staff were friendly, helpful, and competent. The motel had all the facilities we needed, including a free guest laundry, and more than enough in terms of amenities. Most of the windows opened for ventilation and there was also a heatpump. The location was convenient for the town centre, and a little noisy in the morning because of traffic, but it was probably one of the best motels I have ever stayed in.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there and the staff were incredibly friendly and personable. When we arrived the owner was incredibly welcoming and told us places to visit, things to do and where to eat dinner. She was an exceptional host. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean & had everything people would require. Easy 10 min walk into main street, museum etc.It is the couple managing who made it especially excellent. I had ordered a taxi for the airport but it didn’t come so after 20 minutes the woman drove me to the airport

Recent renovations by lovely owners, Murray & Susan have really improved comfort and aesthetics. The new beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are well equipped. Location is excellent - within walking distance of Victoria Avenue shops and restaurants. Great place to stay in Wanganui.

The bed and pillows were lush, the room was warm. Love the fact you actually have Netflix available to watch and not have to be signed into a personal account. The owners/operators were absolutely welcoming in a friendly like family way. The special fudge treats were delicious 😋

We came for a wedding the reception was right across the road from the motel which is y we chose that motel. But we also found that the motel was very central we didn't have to drive far for anything from eating to shopping which made our stay in wanganui awesome 😎

We had to leave to get back to our lives 😪 nah jokes the 2 days we were there, there was nothing I didn't like about our stay

The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help us. They gave us tips on the best restaurants to go to and offered to drive us to a restaurant and pick us up! The bed was very comfy and we had everything we needed. it was close to the main shopping and restaurant area

There was nothing to dislike about this motel unit

It was a bit hard to find the location because we were looking for Assure and could only spot Cooks garden but once we clicked that they are one and the same place it was easy. The staff were so friendly and the place was spotless. The chocolates in the fridge were a nice surprise and then we forgot to eat them.

The staff/owners were super friendly. The rooms were so clean and everything I needed were there. The location was even better, walking distance to everything. I will definitely be back again :) Thank you Susan, Murray and staff 😀
