We booked a room with my friend and expected a place like two bedrooms in a dorm. But instead we booked a full room for us at the same price with two beds in a dorm. It was a cosy and big room with a kettle and microwave 😊 Also, in the kitchen, there was everything to use from the pan, pot, glasses, salt, sugar etc. Bathrooms and kitchen were averagely clean. 👍🏽
The only negative side is the big bathroom. There were two bathrooms but in one of them the shower cabin's glass door couldn't close and they had removed a part of it. Also the shower head couldn't stay fixed. Still the other bathroom was working well.

This place has a cosy vibe, cute cat. We came here on a snowing day (-15°). We came earlier than the check-in hour to store our luggages and it took a long time waiting for host to reply our message (He said just come and didn't give us a password for the entrace door 💀). So we had to wait for a while and luckily there was a man living under floor let us in his home (cute guy) to wait. The room was cold at first because some one turned off the actomat (At that moment I thought I would become Elsa). But then it was warm at night thank for heater. The kitchen is really good. But It was cold, too. The lady said maybe someone opened the window because It never cold like that. Anyway, I love this place, the house and the room. I felt like Elsa here ❤️

Villa Internationals combined the best of what a small hostel in the countryside might offer, in terms of opportunities to connect with other guests around the wooden table in the cosy self-cooking kitchen, and the welcoming warmth of a visit in a family home, with childhood memories and an absolutely unique style. The garden is beautiful, and must be a great place to spend a summer evening, and the frequent buses in to town are only a short walk away.
The wi-fi was very unstable during my visit, but I understand this is something they are working on, and the villa is unfortunately not accessible for visitors with mobility issues.

The villa is a green retro osasis hidden in the midst of apartment buildings. I was impressed by the amount of books and antique details in the house (I sketched a few), and I didn't feel like going out from this sanctuary. There was, for example, a 1929 German edition of "All Quiet on the Western Front" on my table. I had the pleasure to meet the owner who was very friendly and hospitable giving me a tour around the house. He was happy to hear that his villa was my first option in the booking site, which turned out to be the best. I skipped the options of Stockholm and Copenhagen to stay in this place.
No complaints! I just wondered where to hang my damp towel so it won't stain the retro chairs and sofa.

The house is very cool, I like the idea of it being a house opened up to guests, and it was an amazing design. Very homely. Has a kitchen and all the facilities you need. We only stayed one night but was nice and restful. It’s in a lovely area with all the embassies and consulates, and near the marina. Shop is a wee walk away, and there are buses from the centre to nearby the house. We think we spoke to the owner the next morning, and he was nice, but other than that was all self check in/out.
It is quite far away, but there are good transport links there. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re travelling solo and wanting to meet people.

Old mansion in the middle of the city, repurposed rooms for shared hostel feel. Old antiques in the rooms. Charming look and feel. Got a very good price in center of Oslo with last minute deal. Deep savings.
Draft due to older building, room was not set up for the right amount of guests, had to find linen myself. No reception as they are renting out a mansion as a "large home, not hotel". Which means your expecations of service should be lower. No staff on site. Use a large family kitchen and very small bathrooms among multiple rooms.

The instructions to enter the building, although complicated when you're tired, were very clear. The room contained everything we needed for just a good night's sleep. I also really appreciated that the host made sure to put us in a room with two separate beds since I had mentioned I was coming with a friend, not a partner.
The only minor detail of critique was that the doorknob on the outside of our room door was not attached so it kept falling off. But that had no impact on the quality of our stay.

I liked that he made it feel like a home- we felt like guests in his large and historic house (built late 1800's). He really went out of his way to make sure we had everything that we needed, including advice things to do in the city based on our interests. Cherry on top was the large, full kitchen.
I like everything about it. As someone that is looking to move to Europe, Jorn (owner) talked me into liking Oslo and I now consider it a place I can find work and may call home in the future.

A Sherlock Holmes quiz to arrive and enter. No staff to be seen. Quiet discreet guests. Old but maybe not haunted house. Not your usual stay but I loved it. Very nice area. Lots of embassy or cd residences. Close to the fjord. A choice of restaurant walking distance ...if you are not overweight) go outwards from center you'll find interesting restaurants. Closer fast train station to airport in I would go back if I have time...and money (Oslo is more expensive than Switzerland) but to some extent it is value for money.... If the weather is nice 🙂
I would not say my bed was very confortable...but I slept well.....I always do.

The house is really beautiful and the balcony of the balcony room is great. It's kind of a youth hostel with 8 rooms so it explains the cheap price and the average quality of the equipements but it is perfect to explore Oslo with a city bike point close to it and a kitchen so you won't ruin yourself in oslo restaurants.
Most of the lights in the rooms didn't work. The garden is not maintained. It could have been great otherwise
