Sally and Mike are fantastic hosts. I knew when we walked up to the property (on stilts over beautiful, crystal clear water) it was going to be a unique stay. We had the king room which had an enormous covered deck w/ a hammock, etc. Sally provides great information on all of the available boat tours and many pick up right at their house. We also used the 2 man kayak to tool around the mangroves. The scenery is truly breath-taking. If you can, try to be there on a Monday night when there is live music at the Floating Bar.

Truly can't think of anything. The location is just outside Bocas Town so it's quiet, but it's very easy to flag a taxi or collectivo.

Sally and Mike are great hosts! Very friendly, very helpful, it was an amazing stay overall. The whole place is very cosy, comfortable, rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, clean and cute and with AC! You can also borrow snorkle and kayak and rent bikes and they give you great tips on places to visit nad eat. The best place for a 'honeymoon' stay in Bocas if you look for a quiet place where you can jump in the water right after breakfast :)

There was nothing we did not like. It is a bit further from the town, but there's always cheap taxi's so it's not a problem. And if you pike to walk or bike, even better.

Sunsetter was perfect. Sally and Mike are awesome hosts and our room had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and different each morning. I don't eat white flour and Mike took the time to find a substitute to the toast everyone else had. He made something for me using a coconut flour and it was so good i aked for the recipe. Sally sent directions and other useful information a week or so before we arrived . We had no trouble finding the Sunsetter. Wifi worked great in our room. There was a TV in our room to watch Netflix but honestly we never did turn it on . Stay here you won't be disappointed:))

Everything was perfect

Excellent place to stay in Bocas del Toro. Located on the main island, close to many bars and restaurants but in a really quiet bay. The town is about a 25 minute walk (or a $1 taxi ride) away, a swim in the Caribbean is direct from the deck of the bed and breakfast :) Besides the excellent location, this bed and breakfast is also very comfortable. Excellent bed, nice shower and an own balcony to enjoy the views. There is also a great common area (even when it’s raining). There are also kayaks and paddleboards for you to take to explore the bay, we even managed to spot sloths during our kayak trip ;) Service is very personal, Mike and Sally are excellent hosts. The daily changing breakfast is outstanding (loved the Canadian touch with the maple syrup on the French toast ;)) and their tips for activities are outstanding. Nothing ever seemed to much during our stay, will stay here again when visiting Bocas del Toro without a doubt.

The accomodation is super nice, as are the owners. They make breakfast everyday, they give you advise on whatever you need, you can even book some tours on other islands with them. The location is 30 min on foot from the center, or you can take a taxi (very cheap). All rooms are beautifully decorated and they have a terrace. Also, it is so quiet there! We loved it!

The water presure and usage are limited, but it is not something they can do about it, as you are on an island and that s how things are going over there.

My stay at this BnB was exceptional! I had absolutely no issues with the room or the location or the facilities or the breakfast or the hosts! Mike and Sally were fantastic hosts - who were always on hand to help with any queries and even took myself and the other guests to the Floating Bar on their boat! Mike and Sally also recommended the best restaurants to eat at in the town - thanks for the recommendations! Myself and the other guests even cooked our tea (dinner) one evening, using the hob in the guests area. You can easily hire a bike from Mike and Sally with no issues! The room, bathroom and bedroom view were beautiful! The breakfasts were delicious! You can even see the fish in the water around the BnB. Mike and Sally also provide clean, filtered drinking water on site without a charge. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Bocas! Thanks again for everything Mike and Sally!

There was nothing I did not like about this BnB, it was an exceptional experience, which I think everyone should come and experience for themselves.

Would definitely recommend this place if going to Bocas Del Toro. The host Mike and Sally are great and very friendly. Gave us some great recommendations on places to visit on island. Communication was excellent as well. The directions to place were very easy to follow when arriving. Very comfortable and quiet place to just relax. Short drive to town, we even walked it once about 25 mins. The air condition in the room is a huge plus. Take advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks that are provided! Thank you for a great stay!

Sally and Mike were amazing. They offered us a welcome drink at our arrival. Everything was perfect. the room, the breakfast, the facilities. The B&B is so beautiful. You can enjoy the sunrise and the sunset from the terrace. Sally and Mike were so nice to us. The gave us so many tips about Bocas. They also gave the snorkeling mask so we were able to see the starfish in Playa Estrella. Also, we found each other at the same place for dinner and the offer us a lift to go back to the B&B. A lift with the boat, at night. The sky was clear so we watched the stars and the moon. I mean everything was great. Shame we stayed two night only. Hopefully we will go back and stay longer.

Nothing to complain.

we felt very welcome in Sallys and Mike accomodation. The house is located directly in the sea where you can swim, relax or rent a kajak for free. We could check in early and enjoyed a fresh a tasty breakfast every day. Even fresh drinking water is for free. The bus stop is just a short walk away. The rooms are clean, very comfortable and has their own balcony. We would definitivley stay there again.

The Sunsetter Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful inn that is constructed on a dock above the water on a quiet side of the main island. You will enjoy a perfect view of the picturesque sunsets and Sally and Mike are the kindest and most knowledgeable hosts you could ask for. The meals I had at the inn were delicious and you will love their cats!

I liked everything. You should note that if you stay here you will need to ride transit to and from the airport and the restaurants. This was no problem for me, just you should be aware in case your intention is to walk from the airport- it would be a bit too far. The trade off is that you enjoy some serious peace and quiet!
