The hotel is very well located, in the historic center, just a few meters from the main square (Plaza de Armas). We stayed in two different rooms at Cooper Hotel. The Deluxe Room is very good, clean, and pleasant, with a balcony facing the street. Everything was working well in the room, and we didn’t miss anything. However, the Queen Room had a bad smell coming from the bathroom, and it didn’t have any windows to the outside of the building. I would suggest staying in the Deluxe Room. The hotel's common facilities are excellent, offering water and tea 24 hours a day. The breakfast is fantastic (the best we had during our entire trip to Peru). In addition to the food being super fresh, the staff who prepare the meals are extremely kind and attentive. The receptionists, especially Corina, are outstanding! They are very efficient and solved every issue we brought to them. They also gave us excellent tips and always tried to help us in the best way possible. Conclusion: Definitely worth the investment. Excellent hotel, excellent location, excellent service, and excellent breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed by that the hotel provided a bagged breakfast for us before our early morning departure on an excursion to Machu Picchu. The hotel's regular breakfast also offered a variety of choices (breads, fruits) and eggs made to order. The location is only about a block from the main plaza, so you are very close to the main city attractions.

There were just a few minor things. The breakfast room was a little warm with the sun shining in. Also, since the hotel is so close to the plaza, we could hear music from around the city late at night (this didn't bother us but could bother a light sleeper).

The staff was really attentive and friendly. Breakfast (even if I couldn’t enjoy it because I got sick) had different things to choose from. Location is good! Close to the main square but not close enough for it to get too busy. There is always hot water in the shower.

Our room was right across the reception, next to the stairs and also from a toilet anyone can use, so we didn’t feel all the privacy we wished we could have. The TV is a bit small, the room is definitely not soundproof and the curtains let in some light from the street. Even if it doesn’t get too loud, would’ve been nice to have a soundproof room.

Communication before my arrival was very good. I was over three hours late due to a train delay and I was given an extra hour for check out without charge. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. There was a great variety of food for breakfast which was all very good. Location is in the centre of the town. I was leaving Cusco late on my check day and was able to store my luggage there for the day. The lady on reception was very helpful confirming where the bus station was and letting me sort out my bags before leaving.

I arrived late at night and was not even offered help with my bags up the stairs or to my room by the guy on the desk. All other staff were very friendly though.

The location was great! The hotel was quaint and small and all of our families rooms were right on the main floor area. We could not hear anything from the inside with people walking through the lobby. Very close to the square and chocolate museum and close enough to a great little crepe shop a couple blocks away. The breakfast was amazing and the front desk ladies were wonderful, kind and helpful.

So, the hardest part was the traffic noise- which is not the hotels fault. Cusco taxi's LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to use their horns. Cusco also likes to party UNTIL 6am, and then it starts all over again. We had an early morning and Saturday night was flat out AWFUL! Our room overlooked the street, which was a sweet view (kind of like being on a European street), but just with flat out ridiculous car noise. So if you are a light, medium or almost deep sleeper, you will hear the horns going ALL night. It may be different if you are in an inner hotel room. I did read reviews, but overlooked this. I would try staying again, but only if I was in an inner room- or they did something to the windows/door to make them sound proof.

This is a great hotel! Warm and friendly staff, good sized rooms, amazing breakfast and perfect location with everything walking distance. We loved the tea station available at reception and the bag storage helps when going off on tours.

We stayed before and after a tour. Our first room had a small fan provided on side table and with the window opening into the corridor, the room felt hot with limited ventilation. Our second room had a ceiling fan which was much better.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Hotel was very quaint, with comfortable rooms, private baths. Variety of pillows to choose from on the bed. Location was great, very cental to historical center of town. The front desk arranged cars to and from the airport for us. Very good included breakfast and on days we had early tours the provided a large breakfast to go. Also variety of teas availble in the lobby and filtered water.

wifi was a little spotty in some rooms and there was some noise from outside at night. So if that woould bother you bring ear plugs.

The hotel is centrally located and very modern. The staff are very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for great restaurants and things to do and see. The bathrooms were super nice (brand new), and the shower was strong with lots of hot water.. Our room on the 2nd floor, away from the road, was mostly quiet. The breakfast was phenomenal. Fresh fruits (cut and whole) cold and cooked options, juices, rolls, meat and cheese, yogurt, etc, etc, etc. They have a juicer and will make several different options. Absolutely the best breakfast on our 2.5 week trip to Peru and Chile.

Not the fault of the hotel, but there seems to be a nightclub nearby that plays music until 6am. If you keep the window closed, you won't hear it.

Loved the breakfast and tea station in the lobby and the staff were was always very polite and friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The location had its pros and cons. It was close to the everything so it did make it easy to walk everywhere. However it was very noisy with the constant traffic up and down the road and beeping of cars. The room also got pretty hot since there isn’t any AC but we asked for a fan which was provided to us.

The hotel has a lot of character with what appeared to be renovated rooms. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was phenomenal. Their level of organization and menu matches some of the best hotels in the area. This hotel offers great value!

The only complaint is that our room did not have any means of cooling. We knew up front that our room did not have a/c but unfortunately the only window did not opened to the outdoors, but to a greenhouse that was very warm.
