It was my first time staying at Selina. I really liked the care they put into the space, the common areas are comfortable and the dorm beds have a light, plugs and a curtain. I enjoyed having the yoga room with open access, especially after weeks of traveling. The staff is also super friendly and helpful

In comparison to other places, it's an expensive option with a lot of "add-ons" such as breakfast and access to the working area (needed, as the desks in common areas don't have plugs nearby). I was also disappointed that despite the beautiful space, I didn't find it easy to meet other travelers, unlike in other hostels.

Room (teepee) was comfortable and clean. There was an electonic heater that served well in the night. Staff was absolutely amazing. The organization of the tours exceeded my expectations. Machu Picchu tour was the best, we stopped in 5 historical places, had amazing buffet and then when taking a train I was taken care of every step of the way: a team member texting me instructions, another guide waiting me on arrival... I felt very relaxed. 👌 And last but not least, the restaurant is AMAZING. You have a lunch menu for 28 Sol (7€) which was tasty and home made.

Teepees could have some kind of a curtain. There is a big window and it gets very bright at sunrise. Also the outdoor light could be turned off sooner, for the early morning tours I was going to sleep around 21h, but the light stayed on all the way until midnight.

Perfect for staying in historic town Cusco. SUPER close to everything. Good food, Markets, Ruins, Attractions. It is all within walking distance. A fantastic location. Breakfast included is quite small and not every option is always available depending on the day and produce they have in. If you choose anything, I would recommend the avo on toast with eggs. The other meals are not amazing. For the price at restaurant in Selina, it is probably better value for portion size and quality to just head out for breakfast.

Bathrooms/Showers are quite spread out. Paying more for the teepee experience is great and more quiet BUT note that the main bathrooms are shared and are located outside at the very back of the property. The showers are also very inconsistent. They can take a long time to heat up and pressure and temp will randomly drop and change. Hahaha, its all part of the experience I guess.

During my stay at Selina in Cusco, I had an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to Frank, the night receptionist whom I had the pleasure of meeting. Frank's warmth and dedication truly enhanced my time there. Not only did he provide exceptional service, but he also went above and beyond to share his deep knowledge of Inca culture with me. His passion for the history and traditions of the Incas was infectious, and through our conversations, I gained a richer understanding of this fascinating culture. Frank's enthusiasm and genuine interest in sharing his insights made my stay at Selina truly memorable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have met such a remarkable individual during my travels.

The Location of the property is very central, only a short walking distance from the plaza de armas. The rooms are cozy and comfortable! Standards are european and the staff is incredible! Everyone speaks english and changes (like staying a night longer or adding another Person) were easily made and instantly offered when asked.

The rooms aren’t very isolated when it comes to noise from the outside. Because there’s playing music in the lobby constantly ist might be a disturbing during a nap around midday

Location is perfect! The hostel was very nice, the sweetest staff, I wish more people like them work in hospitality business. Good decent breakfast.

The room didn’t have a window, was a bit dark, the air was stuffed sometimes. While I was there 2 huge groups of people stayed there, some college (or school) students and yoga people. They (the kids) were very loud partying in the hall and singing karaoke, it was hard especially when you need to wake up next day 4am for the tour

The staff were very kind and helpful and helped us to plan a route to rainbow mountain for cheap prices. The garden and teepee huts are lovely but doors are fiddly to lock. Hot showers and toiletries provided. Could do with having a conditioner for hair.

The food is also good quality however the snacks in the fridge are a little expensive including the water and they would not let me swap welcome drinks for a non alcoholic option. The free yoga was also cancelled during my time there

Thank you to the lovely Nicole, Angie and all the team at Selina Plaza de Armas who gave us such a warm welcome and took care of us so well. We appreciate their kindness, friendliness and local tips and information. The room was great and the facilities superb, we loved the kitchen and library area. The location could not be better, just 2 blocks from the main square and close to lots of great restaurants and bars.

The coffee in the morning was very weak.

The general vibe is great, staff is very nice and common areas are comfy. Kitchen had what I needed including some coca leaves for my tea. I used the cleaning service for cloths, was 8 soles. Breakfast was good, but not very big. Room was good, bed was comfy and there was a heater, so I slept really well. Location is great near plaza de armas.

The place is a bit run down, my bedroom had carpeted floor which looked pretty old. Stairs here and there made a bit uncomfortable to move my luggage, specially considering the altitude. Room was smaller than the picture. Cowork area is paid and a bit dark.

Excellent location super close to the Plaza de armas. Convenient because all the tours were able to pick up from the hotel. Staff always available and always extremely helpful and kind. They also have a good laundry service which I found super helpful when you’ve been traveling for a while.

Sometimes the walls feel a bit thin but to be honest not a huge deal when you’re staying in a hostel.
