My husband I stayed Tierra Viva Miraflores for 3 nights before heading home after a longer trip in Peru. Staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very adequate - hot and cold drinks, scrambled eggs with changing meat dishes, breads, cereal, yoghurts, cheese, olives and fruits. Our room was a good size and was very clean. It was nice to have a bath after a week of hiking! Our bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We were left water and there was also two complimentary bottles of beer and two Cokes in the mini fridge. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, and a tea station set up on the foyer to help yourself to. Outside was hustle and bustle, but the windows kept most of the noise out and the double blinds kept it nice and dark when we needed a sleep in. The location is good with lots of restaurants nearby and about 30 mins walk to Parque Kennedy. We had a prebooked taxi (though booking.com) to and from the airport and it took 40 mins on one trip and 20 mins on the other - all traffic depending. Miraflores is a really interesting neighborhood to walk around and discover - it really grew on us. The only issue we had during our stay was that our payment for the room was taking from two different cards as I was told the first payment didn't work. As soon as I alerted the front desk they looked into it quickly for me and kept me updated with how they were looking into it. My bank has since reimbursed me with the money, but it should be noted that the staff were very understanding about my concern and did what they could do to help resolve the situation.

We arrived really early in the hotel - around 6 in the morning and asked for an early check in. They were able to provide us the room immediately for an extra 35 dollars charge which also included the breakfast for the same morning. We happily took the offer as we needed some rest as soon as possible. The hotel is trendy and in a really good part of Miraflores - very close to the cliffs promenade and some good restaurants. It was really easy to get an Uber to and from it. The room was spacious and comfortable and I noticed that it had an AC which we didn't have to use. The bathroom was clean, had various hotel amenities and good running hot shower. The breakfast was buffet style - not very rich but quite enough to start the day well. The staff was nice and accommodating.

No view from the room but we didn't expect to have it anyways. Breakfast could have had a little more choice but again, it's a nice thing to have to start your day.

The hotel and rooms were modern and clean. The bathroom had all the amenities required, including small bottle shampoos and body lotion. The staff were friendly and were willing to help out with group requests. Carmen, who I spoke to on the reservation team, as well as the hotel staff went above and beyond to help facilitate pre-payment and ensure different parties of our group could check in immediately. The breakfast spread was incredible, the food was very fresh and delicious, and you can also request for an omelette with various ingredients with the kitchen. If you have an early start to the day, you can also request a breakfast to-go.

The location is very quiet and safe. There are a couple of small shops and pharmacies around the neighborhood. The room is relatively big with a huge bed in the middle - I loved that. The shower is also big and very comfortable.

Not that many great places to eat within walking distance, but that is exactly what makes the area calm and quiet. During my stay, there was a construction happening just next to the hotel, that made some noise, but I wasn't bothered that much by it.

Excellent value for your money. Large King size bed or two twin beds in a safe and easily walkable neighbourhood. The hotel arranged transportation to and from the airport and provided a bagged breakfast for an early morning departure.

The breakfast was chaotic. The space is small, with only one staff person designated to sign guests in, clear dishes, wash dishes, cook and prepare the food and attend to guest needs. An additional staff person assigned to breakfast service would offer a more comfortable experience for staff and guests.

Friendly staff, and very welcoming at the moment of the registration at the front desk. Meals at the rooftop restaurant were wonderful. The cleanliness of the rooms was very well performed. The are is surrounded by restaurants in a walking distance.

There was not a good heating system in the rooms, could be very cold, especially during the night. Laundry service could be way better.

The Staff was very friendly and obliging. The breakfast buffet had a big variety what we loved. It was also possible to sit on the terasse for breakfast. We loved that they always provided 2 bottles of water in the room.

The Hotel isn‘t really soundproof but i think that is common in Peru and we‘re lucky to have a room fronted the inner courtyard. Sometimes our ventilationsystem in the bathroom brought in some weird smell - sulfurous..

The staff were really helpful and friendly - we felt very much at ease and safe for our first time in Peru and Lima. Breakfast had different options each day (which we really appreciated) with eggs cooked to order. On one of the days we had an early start for a tour and they put together a packed lunch for us since we weren’t able to have breakfast. Nice interior decor and relatively quiet neighbourhood with top restaurants in the surrounding area and only a short walk to the coastal path.

It’s super clean and the rooms are spacious! Breakfast is amazing! Lovely rooftop for breakfast despite works being done. Staff is so kind!

We are unlucky to get the worst room in the property, right next to the noisy road and above the entrance :/ I also wish the AC had a remote and was adjustable. You can only regulate the fan speed or temperature, no sleep timer, no opportunity to change the fan direction so you end up being blasted at.

The room is clean. The shower is super good. The staff are super nice, they help me to order food after my day trip to Paracas / Ica which all the nearby restaurant already closed.

I reserve the room with one King bed, but they wrongly give me double bed. They can only change the room on 2nd day which I do not want to move again. So I have no choice to accept the double bag room.
