Checking out

.On check in reception insisted I booked a room with twin beds which was proven to be incorrect my booking information clearly shows this. Then I was given a story about booking through a third party doesn't mean you get what you requested. The truth was according to the manager who now became involved the only room available with double bed had a airconditioning problem. We agreed to wait till this was fixed in the meantime the manager went off to attend to something else. When we finally checked into the room it was discovered the aircon was not fix . It seems Park View do not value their customers it's called " customer ownership" both staff members were very unprofessional. I have a Raddison loyalty card that is now in the rubbish bin.

As soon as we got to the hotel, we were immediately accommodated by the staff. They informed us that standard check-in is at 3pm but they were nice enough to allow us to check-in by 12nn. The room was big and spacious. There was a big open closet with hangers and iron (and iron board). The room also has a kettle with complimentary coffee and tea. It's also nice of the hotel to have a pitcher of water and instructions as where we can refill it. Plus points that it has access to a mall which was so convenient when you need to buy something. The staff also knew that it was our wedding anniversary so they gave us a cupcake with a note! Lastly, they have an allotted free parking area for guests who checked in the hotel. Overall, we liked our stay in this hotel.

At the moment, the hotel is located in an area surrounded by construction. While you won't hear any noise from it, you'd need to take a detour to some closed roads. Also, the area is not in the main road where most of the restaurants and shops are. In terms of facilities, they could add more (and perhaps bigger) trash bins in the room. The trash bin in our room was also broken.

I had a very pleasant stay here fo 8 nights in a Junior Suite. I particularly loved the location. It is conveniently located and connected to the SM Mall. The staff were all very nice. Housekeeping was awesome. For years, I had been wondering why hotels would display signs "Save the planet and conserve water"...with the simplest of instructions to leave towels on the floor or tub when you need fresh ones and 99% of the housekeeping staff were oblivious to this reminder - but Park Inn housekeeping knew what they were doing. For the duration of my stay ... they never once took my clean towel that was hung on the rail. They only replaced the ones I placed on the floor. I have stayed in 2 more hotels (Makati) for 10 days during this trip and my towels were always replaced daily. Like I said ... so many housekeeping staff are oblivious to their own guidelines and reminders. I also liked my window view ...even though I only get to enjoy the glittering ocean from a distance during late afternoon/early evening.

Lack of drawers was a bit of a let down. I did not like to hang all of my clothes or leave them in my suitcases for 8 nights and the open display unit is not really very private to stack shirts or other clothing. I like to put night dress or underwear in drawers and not on display. Also, lack of USB ports. I did not see any.

Above and beyond customer service rating. Front desk personnel, concierge service, housekeeping, safety and security personnel as well as dining and wait staff were all courteous, personable and professional. Customers were treated like family instead of guests and I will more than likely book my stay in this hotel again next year when I visit Bacolod City, Philippines again,

The first day was a little frustrating because the bathroom area was poorly draining when I took a shower and water flooded the entire bathroom floor. However, I called the front desk for maintenance service and the issue was quickly addressed. I really appreciate the rapid response and how the matter was promptly resolved.

Used to be a great location within the SM City complex but now parking is a premium because large chunks of parking space are turned into buildings- one a university!!! Next to a mall!!! So during cars are parked on the side of the road which is already narrow as most SM mall have it. I bumped into a car that was valet-parked because it blocked the way and I tried to go to the other lane which obviously faced oncoming traffic. The parked pickup truck had a protruding bumper and scratched my side 2/3 of the way. What a nightmare.

Crowded. Parking is a mess. When busy they did not seem to consider that I stayed there a month in February and 37 days this Aug-Sept. Took ages for a bellboy.

What I really liked about this property is how clean and how new it is and how it is connected to SM Bacolod. So, if you don’t like the food at the hotel, you can simply go through the door at the ground floor which connects it to the mall. The breakfast buffet is superb. The people are very, very friendly and helpful. It’s centrally located within the city. You can book a Grab to anywhere. The rooms are super clean and has all the amenities you need.

What I didn’t like about the property is that there was only 1 restaurant. Perhaps having another resto would be nice.

food was great. was impressed by one of the female breakfast servers. i cant remember her name though.i think it was marrian or something similar,short,skiny,polite and fast the other stand out person was jessica from the reception

i cant think of anything in regards to service only suggestion is to do an exterior maintenance service on the wall coating.it seems that weather has taken a toll on the paint and has bubbled up.its a matter of time before it becomes worst and creates costly structural issues

The hotel is only a year old and connected to the mall. Very convenient. Staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast buffet was good, a lot of choices for meat eaters. Beddings are changed every 3 days. We will definitely come back as this is the only decent hotel with modern , new interiors in Bacolod City.

The terrible noise from other guests, shouting on the hallway with their unruly children, there’s also a lot of noise from a number of guests occupying only one room and partying , shouting drunkenly (as if they booked the whole floor to themselves)up until the early hours of the morning. Hotel reception was informed of this disturbances and security was brought in to deal with this situation. Reception offered to transfer us to another room and this was at around 23:45 hours and our 10th night in this hotel. There was also a disgusting stain on the wall in the bedroom and this hotel is only a year old. Bath mats should be provided instead of hand towels. Different kinds of cheeses should be added to the breakfast buffet menu as not everyone eats meat.

The location inside SM city mall is the main advantage of the hotel, overall nice large rooms (although my curtain had many bad stains on it) and very nice and professional staff.

Prohibitive price of the breakfast, most likely because it's a buffet, I would have love to get another option for just a cup of coffee, a fruit and a slice of bread. The price of the room is quite high too, but unfortunately not many other decent options in Bacolod so far.

The staff were very accommodating respectful friendly fr the receptionist esp Roxanne ,d manager that check in even delivered oour luggages himself . dining staff including the late night snack baf .,food was good the security staff are great i have nothing but praise 👏 🙌 for them i remembered the housekeeping team cindy & teoseph?? Edward too. Theyre very Quick and delivered all we needed and always smiling . I will definitely come back & recommend this.

The room.needs drawers esp for us who stayed there for over a week. .extra portable luggage holder.
