The Plaza Lodge Baguio has a scenic location, and the room that I stayed in had views over pine forests, a picturesque village, and downtown Baguio rising in the distance, and I was pleased to find out that this room had a front seat view of the sunset! The room was very clean and the lighting was very cozy and relaxing. The windows had clever screened openings that allow the cold air of Baguio to flow into the room. The room comes with a big closet, a safe, ample storage drawers, and a mini-fridge. A flat-screen TV dominates the wall facing the beds. A sliding door leads to a balcony, with expansive views of the city. The bathroom had shampoo, soap, and a dental hygiene kit for two people provided. The hot and cold taps work, as well as the rain shower and hand shower, both with working hot and cold water. The Plaza Lodge has a good restaurant, which was able to cook me something even after I arrived a bit late. The restaurant has views of the pine forests that surround the property. The gym was pretty well-equipped with free weights and machines, and again has views of pine trees outside. There is also a heated pool but I was unable to use it. The staff were very helpful and recognized me all the time, especially the front entrance security staff and the front desk. Very polite and informative!

Coffee was available, but there was only one sachet of instant coffee, no tea choices, two creamer sachets, and two brown sugar sachets. More coffee sachets and teabags for tea lovers would have been nice. Bottled water within the room would be quite helpful too but wasn't provided. The mattress was hard, but the pillows were soft and comfortable.

The hotel was in a great place, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, polite and swift. Room was very spacious, and had everything u would need in a room. Duty manager was very helpful and is such a nice guy, had just transferred from holiday Inn.

The steak restaurant wasn't open, the igloo bar wasn't open. The swimming pool was closed and half the menu at the Japanese restaurant wasn't available was also the same at the cafe. We chose the hotel on the these basis so was extremely disappointed on arrival. We also chose the hotel as they had a smoking area, which was great until we checked out and was told there was no smoking available and yet by email clearly stated that there was and we had been using it for 3 days. However the duty manager was very accommodating and escorted me down to have a smoke.

Everything you need in an escapade to relieve stress: spacious room, rain shower, bidet, hot water, breakfast buffet, vicinity, free parking, receptionist and room services; luggage help and dinner services are all very excellent.

Breakfast well-selected and different each day. close to attractions, but not in a busy location. pillows and bed were very comfortable. friendly staff who wanted to please. thank you to Florenz at breakfast who took a great picture of us.

hair-raising one way access via steep ramp to the basement parking (but it must be noted that this is usual in the city, which is not for driving newbies.) fortunately for us, it was low season and there was plenty of space.

Excellent service! Staff are consistently attentive and acommodating. Simple things like hailing a cab for you, asking if you need a drink refill without prompting, even letting us leave our luggage while we roam around after check out. Simple things but definitely lacking in other hotels, and it made all the difference. Rooms are clean, spacious and well stocked. Location is great, a few mins drive away from city centre but still quiet. If you want to be able to walk to main shops and restaurants maybe consider staying somewhere else. Overall, had a great stay and definitely recommend staying here.

Not a necesarilly a negative and also I think it’s pretty common in Baguio due to the cooler climate, there is no AC only ceiling fans in our room.

great according to our guest. our guest was really very meticulous in all the hotel bookings but this property all they were able to say is that " everything was great "

The front desk must be very careful in handling payment transactions with the guests especially if the booking was made by travel agency partners. turn over of payment transactions to the incoming staff must be strengthened. there was an error in collecting our payment during check-in but this must be discussed with the travel agent not with the client as this will give us a bad image and might lose succeeding business from our valued guests

the property is new and clean and comfortable they serve delicious food

they are understaffed takes a long time for the toiletries to get to the room and very limited have to ask for toilet paper several times to be given 1🤭🤭 and its undertandable that the room does not come with aircon coz ur in Baguio but it gets hot under the comforter and the fan is not enough thin blanket will suffice

The location is just near the city but you still get a bit of a nice view of the nature

Large room/bed and bathroom. Very clean and the rooms have air purifiers. Convenient location and friendly staff. With private parking.

The location, room sizes, food, and the attentive staff will make you really appreciate checking into this hotel.

Only thing we didn't like was that there were repairs and the sound of hammering on the south side (where our rooms were located) even during on Saturday and Sunday morning.
