The location and facilities

There is a hidden charge upon reaching in the facility in addittion to the fees charge by the app. It was not clearly indicated in booking.com app that you will pay extra and the staff cannot explain why.. They said that the problem is from booking.com not from them.

Acacia Garden has nice rooms, everything was clean. Pool and dining area were really nice. It is more quiet there, than in the center of coron which we really liked. You can walk to all shops and the center within< 5 mins. We came before check in time and were offered to already stay at the poolside while waiting.

Breakfast is a bit disappointing... There are like 6 options and you have to choose one option the evening before and for example one option is "fruits" or "pancakes". Fruits is really only fruits and pancakes is just two cold pancakes. It is not much either... a full breakfast would have been fruits AND pancakes. We booked a room with balcony but the balcony was 1. floor with street view & restaurant view... So everytime we stepped out, everybody sitting there would see us.

The hotel is beautiful and quiet, sat amongst lots of greenery and pretty lights. The facilities were great (they now have a pool at the adjoining sister hotel Acacia Suites which is free to use for Acacia Garden Inn guests too). There is communal space to eat indoors, or outdoors where there is also a bar. Breakfast had a good variety of options, both Filipino breakfast and continental breakfast options available. The twin rooms were a good size, clean, with small TV, nice bathroom, and great A/C and wifi. The staff helped us with organising airport transfers and booking tours (which pick-up directly from the hotel) which was super helpful and much appreciated. Many thanks! The main restaurants and shops are about a 10-15 walk away or a 5 min bike.

The area seemed a bit quieter so it was more difficult to hail a bike if you want to get somewhere. We walked but be mindful that it, of course, gets very hot! The paving around the hotel is a little uneven- be careful with anyone who might be less steady on their feet!

A very big thank you to all the staff & the Trainee's at Acacia Garden, from the moment we arrived we were well taken care of. The room was adequate and well cleaned with good AC. A very good choice for breakfast, which was included in the price, which did not disappoint in the 2 times we had it. It's in a great location, lovely & quiet but only a 5 minute easy walk to the heart of coron town. They booked us a brilliant island hopping trip & they made everything easy with transportation too & from the airport. The best thing is they do food there all day which is fresh, tasty & very well priced. They deserve the biggest praise for being so understanding with my daughters' food allergies & everything we asked to be changed or left out & substituted was never ever a problem. They could not have done anymore. I would definitely recommend & if I was ever in Coron again, it would be my 1st choice.

Nothing

It was clean, nice, well-maintained, nice bathroom. Hot water all day. Wifi could be better, though, but that is a problem in the entire country. Nice choice for breakfast and food in general. Beer, mango shakes, all available. No cocktails. Nice seating area outside under trees. All looks nicer than in the photos, I was very very pleasantly surprised.

Old type of airconditioning unit, so it was noisy. I always sleep with earplugs, and I definitely recommend to have earplugs with you if you are a light sleeper like me.

The value for the money in Acacia Garden Inn is great, nice spaciouse room with huge double beds. Hotel booked ultimate tour in Coron and the airport shuffle for us which was very handy

The only one comment about the drop to the airport, it would be better to be 20-30 min earlier. There was a lot of people and all the checking was manual,and it took a lot of time. Our flight start boarding and we sill tried to drop our baggage.

I really liked the relaxing garden vibes of the place. There is greenery all around making a great atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds and pillows were OK. Bathroom was also clean and amenities provided. Free coffee and tea available at the lobby/restaurant. The staff were great and really helpful in arranging for my island hopping tour. Breakfasts were fantastic, specially the lamayo danggit. They even assisted me in ordering a kilo of frozen lamayo from their supplier to take home. Really good stuff! Finally, I accidentally left a belonging on the room, and they were kind enough to immediately send the item back to me via LBC. Great customer service!

The property is not along the main road but a few minutes walk on a back street, though it can be quickly reached by riding a tricycle from the town center (lots of trikes around that you can hail to get around town). Their breakfast hours are quite short and strict. One day I overslept and could’nt get my breakfast anymore after being late for 5 mins. Wifi can be spotty at times.

Walking distance to the town, bike rental right outside if needed, free coffee/water. Comfy beds, decent size bathroom with good water pressure, we needed our tickets for our ferry printed staff had no problem doing it for us, nice outside area to sit in the sun, we didn’t avail of the breakfast included as we usually don’t eat that early but really good value hotel to also have food included.

Minor thing but a Double bed in the room would have been nice

Cleanliness, new

The food- over priced and very salty! The cook put too much salt and soy sauce in everything we ordered. The pasta were not cooked well. The kitchen staff/cook went to knock at our room while we were napping to get the payment. We stayed for 5 days. The rice in our free bfast is too moist and they dont put enough protein or viand. This is abt 10-15 min walk to the town center.

Somehow not considerate. They charged us 1 day because we accidentally double booked a room. When we were canceling the reservation, they won’t allow us to cancel completely without us paying for 1 day. They told us they were fully booked where in fact, they were not because there were only few guests in the hotel. We asked if we could change dates and use it some other time, but they also didn’t allow us.
