the resort is beautiful and staff are very attentive

for those going in december, be aware that it is high tide in the evening and you cannot get out of or back to the hotel after around 7pm. it is extremely dangerous to try and cross the beach to get back to the hotel from town after this time which we weren’t aware of and there is no other way to access the hotel except to wait out the tide until the early hours of the morning.

The view of the islands from the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating to my family’s needs. The cottages were comfortable with comfortable mattress, toiletries and hair dryer, make up mirror, beach towels were all provided in the room.

The hotel is by the water but there was no beach to lay down. Needed to travel to public beach to enjoy the beach.

We had an incredible stay at Cadlao Resort and Restaurant, where every aspect of our experience was exceptional. The seamless check-in process and attentive staff set the stage for a memorable getaway. Miel and the team at Jinjer Restaurant elevated our visit, creating moments that truly inspired us. The oceanfront location, with breathtaking views of Cadlao Island, felt magical, especially as we witnessed its beauty from sunrise to sunset. The warmth, kindness, and continuous smiles of the staff left a lasting impression and made our stay unforgettable. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to El Nido and look forward to returning to Cadlao Resort and Restaurant.

The WiFi was not dependable and was spotty.

the location away from the busy town was a plus, could easily walk to it or use their free taxi service. Our cottages were small but very comfortable. The view outside our cottages are relaxing and each pod of cottages have a pool. We were in Cadlao 3 but still an easy walk to the restaurant and the main pool with a really awesome view of Cadlao island. I was so very pleasantly surprised and My family couldn't be more pleased with the place.

was looking forward to having pandesal for breakfast every morning but please don't take this away from how we love the place. Also was disappointed that the beach itself is not a swimming beach but was rocky, I'm not blaming this on the property. i could have done better research if that was a deal breaker.

This is easily the best accommodation in El Nido, it is waterfront (with sea turtles out front in the morning) and has pools with an incredible sunset just look at the photos we took. There is a free Tuk Tuk service to the Main Street which is amazing and convenient and the rooms were so clean and beautiful. The included breakfast is very good and we were big fans of the bar and Pina coladas. The staff are exceptional including Frances, Mary, Miel and the reception girls they helped us with tours, bikes and island recommendations! Best place we’ve ever stayed!

Nothing! The only thing to be aware of is there are no fridges in the room we stayed in but there is cold water stations around the resort.

It has a good location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the el Nido city but still 15 min walking distance. Stunning views. Free drinks and snacks at 5 pm, free tricycle from and to the city.

The beach is rocky and full of dogs, so apart from the view on Cadlao island, there's nothing to it. Shame the main pool advertised is under maintenance, you don't get a discount for that, and it is a pricey resort! I was in the cheapest accommodations at the back, which means you enjoy the noise of the generator when it's on, and the room is far from being soundproof. Room was comfortable enough, but the shower should be redone, and there is no shelf to leave toiletries in it, only the floor. Poor water pressure too. The breakfast was good, but the restaurant is really pricey, both food and drinks, for ordinary dishes and disappointing cocktails.

We loved it here. We were not direct in the city, which we enjoyed very much because we had that "island feeling", but nevertheless very close to it. With the provided transfer with tuk-tuk you can get in the center of El Nido city in 5 minutes. What we liked the most was the fact that we could also chill at one of the pools when we didn't feel like going anywhere (and also because of the typhoon). Another strong point was the Jinjer Restaurant ...the staff was incredibly friendly and always attentive to your needs. Also the food was delicious and the resort looks very beautiful. Also a big plus for the fact that every room/villa has it's own terrace

It is a pity that the beach isn't preety and full with rocks and mud, but this has nothing to do with the resort, it's just the way the beaches in El Nido city are.

The hotel is very nice. The location is a dream, every evening you can watch the sunset directly from the pool. The staff (especially thanks to Francis) is very polite, courteous and keen to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. Very nice restaurant with delicious and healthy food and view on the ocean. Since the hotel is on a smaller street, a tuk-tuk service is offered from the hotel and works perfectly. We also hired an extra driver to the airport through the hotel, everything worked perfectly. If you are looking for relax and perfect place for holiday w/o annoying people, you are right here.

The pool area should be clean more often. The rooms are not that big. The beach directly in the front of the hotel not the best one. Take your beach shoes with you, to be able to go into the water.

Book your stay immediately! Our stay at Cadlao Island Resort was truly amazing. We spent 4 nights here for my 50th birthday and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. On arrival we were greeted with a delicious choice of an alcoholic or non alcoholic cocktail drink. Yum! We booked a Poolside Family room for 4 females. They had thoughtfully put birthday decorations in the room which was a really nice touch. The room was a little small for suitcases but it wasn’t a real issue. The beds were comfortable and the room had a great outdoor area to have drinks and chill. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job with our laundry and cleaning the rooms. Thank you. The location was perfect. Very close to town but yet far enough away to have complete relaxation. The 3 pools are all amazing. 2 with spectacular sunset views to Cadlao Island. Last but certainly not least…. The staff…EXCELLENT!! Definitely 5 star service all the way. Kaye the Guest Relations Manager, has chosen the most attentive, beautiful front of house staff. We were always greeted with a smile and they were extremely helpful even with medical supplies when 2 of us girls feel ill. The restaurant was wonderful. Great food. Especially the Kinalaw (ceviche) was outstanding. Better than we have had in Mexico (a couple of us have lived in Mexico, so that’s a real testament). Val who made dreamy, delicious cocktails daily for us was a star. As we’re all the bar and restaurant staff. If we could make a special thank you to Mary at the restaurant. Her customer service is outstanding. She is so attentive and personable. She was great at explaining all local dishes and ingredients…. And even explaining how the ceviche was made. Also a shout out to the drivers at the resort that were so prompt and didn’t allow us to lift a finger with our heavy luggage. In conclusion, I’m baffled that booking.com has this place rated as a 3star resort. It’s definitely at least a 4-4.5 star.
