Service staff were pleasant and helpful. Room service was faster than service in the restaurant. Breakfast menu choices are limited - no buffet breakfast and only one set dish covered in the price. But plenty of options on the menu. Food was good.

Location was unexpected and not what was expected because there were too many steps to climb within the facility to go for meals etc. People with knee problems may not be able to navigate. This should be mentioned in the Booking.com description of the property.

views overlooking the sea, islands and town. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location. Excellent customer service. Sarifa made us feel like at home, helped us organise breakfast and transportation so that we could go ahead with our planned activities hassle free. organising transportation from and to town was as easy as getting in touch with the front desk on the phone. Everything was very easy and got support throughout our stay. views from the restaurant and the pool are magical and the food was great too. Karuna will be my top recommendation for anyone wanting to visit El Nido. Karuna has been built on a hill and you can see that the property is property maintained and taken care of.

Quiet and out of town but you can walk to El Nido town in 20 mins. they also have free shuttle. We loved the location and views and took photos. There is a beach at the bottom of the road and cross the road, but we preferred the hotel pool and used the pool a few times. The room was spacious and clean and we used the balcony for quiet time. There is an outdoor shower and 1 tucked away from view so best of both worlds.

Not for those who want to be in centre of town and walk everywhere. We liked the 20 min walk into town and did it twice and the shuttle took us into town many times over our 7 day stay. Be prepared to use stairs to your bungalow and up to breakfast as it is built on side of steep hill. We liked it but others may not.

the property itself is really lovely, incredible views and the villas are gorgeous, honestly nicer than expected. the view from the pool also is lovely across Corong Corong. This would be a perfect place for sunset in the pool.

had a very awkward incident on check in at 2.30am with staff getting confused about who we were. Really didn’t need it at that time, it was an unfortunate incident but proper the worst “welcome” I’ve ever had. At the pool the staff spent the entire time laughing and giggling all day when you just want a bit of peace and quiet… this is only a slight moan but it was the most professional behavior you’d expect from a high end resort. The hills are very steep around the place, they need to have phones in each Villa so that you can communicate with the restaurant or main reception!.

Even though they offer free transport to the town, the communication was awful. We waited an hour for the transport one night after scheduling it for a specific time. The water was also turned off for 4 hours past the time they said it would be back on.

The most beautiful views of El Nido from the villas and the main pool. Villas are beautiful and loved staying here. It is very steep to walk up and down to the villas and to get to the main street so they supply a driver to help get you around, which is very helpful. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any queries or requests.

There was a (strong) funny smell in our room which we discovered was a dead animal and it was then removed but the smell was very strong and should have been picked up by the staff. We were not compensated until we asked to be, which we were very grateful for as they then provided a driver to our next destination for free.

Super spacious and comfortable villa, amazing view! We loved the villa, The Internet wasn't great for Zoom meetings but manageable. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Location was perfect - above all the craziness with a fantastic panorama.

The breakfast was mediocre... I didn't like that we realised we over-paid for the Boat trip that we booked through the hotel. It wasn't anything special, given that the next day we travelled with a different tour operator for the same money and it was 10000s times better. So that was kind of disappointing, felt cheated. Also, the transfer to the airport is unnecessarily expensive as well, given that everything there is extremely cheap.

Beautiful location, with incredible views! The pool area is the best, with amazing view over the sea and cliffs of El Nido, you just can’t get enough of it. The staff was the nicest, always helping with whatever we needed and their complimentary transportation to and from town was very helpful. We got upgraded to a better room which we were very happy with. The food and drinks at the restaurant are really good, many options to choose from. All in all, this was one of the best boutique hotels we’ve tried and we highly recommend it.

Loved our stay! The rooms are beautiful and very large in size. The staff was amazing. A special thanks to Anjelyn - she made our experience memorable from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. She was prompt to respond to any question or concern. She took care of arranging all excursions and gave great recommendations (both food and things to do). My daughter celebrated her 2nd birthday during our stay at the property, and Anjelyn brought her the most beautiful birthday cake! I am so thankful for her and making the day special for my daughter. The pool is wonderful, and the restaurant had delicious food (the breakfasts were amazing - try the pancakes!). You do have to walk/drive uphill to reach the property, but the hotel has a van that can take you up and down. And honestly, it was nice to be off the main road. The high up location also made for a spectacular sunset. Wouldn’t recommend staying anywhere else. And I can’t wait to come back one day.

This was by far my favorite stay I’ve booked on booking.com! We booked a villa for 5 people. The views from the villa were absolutely stunning! We had a private pool that overlooked the ocean with the best views of el nido! The villa was so cozy & clean with plenty of space ! Oh & comfy beds! They even provided a whole jug of water for us! We would’ve just been happy staying in this villa our whole trip … lol But of course we had to explore the rest of el Nido! The staff at El Nido were so friendly and helpful and truly made us feel like family! You guys have the best staff! Lester at the front desk was always available if we had question ! It was easy to communicate via WhatsApp with him! Karuna has their own transport which made things very convenient! We were able to set up airport pick up and rides to and from town and vanilla beach! We appreciate our driver Bendy! He was very kind and even drove us as closer villa when it was dark at night ! The food & drinks and Karuna were delicious & we ate many meals there ! We booked a nightly massage at our villa which was one of the best massages ever-highly recommend! The location is great too! Less than 10 mins from town!
