You get what you pay for, and for £65 for the 3 nights it exceeded our expectations. 1 minute walk from (if that), corong corong beach. Beautiful and reasonable price restaurant - lion sunset lounge. Comfy bed and hot shower! No safe or fridge. Breakfast included, 4 options - omelette, pancakes, continental and Filipino! Simple accommodation, with helpful staff (they arranged our tour and they picked us up from the hotel). Decent wifi and good a/c. Good on a budget!

They didn't clean the room when we were out, but this wasn't a big deal for us. Shower sprays on to bathroom floor and nowhere for it to drain. No safe or fridge.

The staff is very helpful. The room is spacious and clean, perfect for couples. I like the breakfast they served; I just wish they had more options. I like that you can rent a motorcycle to roam around, which is a great way to explore El Nido. I like that there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby to go to whenever you need something or just want to grab some food.

The wifi connection is somehow terrible. I just wish that the one they provide to their guests is the 5G connection, not just the 2G connection. Without a doubt, 5G has fast internet. I hope they change their amenities with this, as there is no phone signal in the place. This is the only bad experience I encountered at Neela Tourist Lodge. But other than that, everything was good!

This place was very affordable and therefore basic which is not an issue, it is exactly what we expected and all that we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, free coffee and tea was available 24/7, staff were very friendly, breakfast was good and location was good too.

The free wifi was pretty poor and although our SMART sims had 5G, the internet just seemed to be very poor in that area. As digital nomads, this was a small issue for us.

comfortable hotel and very reasonable price. we stayed there for 5 nights. strategic location. close to various facilities. very good and friendly staff. varied and delicious breakfast. also provides island day trip with reasonable price .

The water sometimes looks dirty and smells, probably because of the low water pressure. The air conditioning compressor noise is too loud, disturbing our sleep.

We stayed at the hostel for 6 nights and loved it! What we loved the most were the staff - so kind, helpful and always with a smile on their face! The rooms were simple, but so much value for the money. We had both aircon and a fan, and it worked well. The location is amazing - 1 minute walk to corong-corong beach and 5 min on a trycicle to el nido town (only 100 php). A lot of great cafees and restaurants nearby. Such as: Namaste (coffee and smoothie bowls), Karls BBQ (great BBQ), Therys (best burger) and Altrove (best pizza). The hostel can arrange trips and transportation for you

Aircon a little noisy, had to wear headphones. But it was working well, so we didnt mind.

Lovely place, very clean, cozy small room, mattress was quite comfortable and location is just the best in El Nido!

The only problem is the Wifi - very bad, I am working on laptop day and night, and I need good connectivity, I would not make a problem from it, but my phone signal is weak at this hotel so its no use when Wifi is down. I suggest to invest little bit for better internet connection, these days many travellers are working online and need good Wifi.

It exceeded expectations, because everything in the rooms worked, it was spacious, the noise level was low even though there is a road nearby. Although the location is not perfect, but everything is so close here that it was not an inconvenience.

Maybe it's because there's no leisure area, but we had chairs and a table next to the room, which was very nice.

- good price-value ratio - nice staff - they organise tours at good price - they have an umbrella you can take if its raining - breakfast can be asked one day in advance for an exact timepoint in the morning, so you dont need to wait

- room was small - aircon was working, but very old - no hairdryer - little bit far from El Nido - very small common place

Good location,so close to the beach and to restaurants on Main Street.Good size room with comfortable bed,air con and fan.Basic bathroom.Staff was amazing.Friendly,so polite and always happy to help.Few options for breakfast with unlimited tea or coffee.

Room I had was outside of communal tables and other people who were sitting there sometimes were making a lot of noise.Bathroom was flooding during taking showers.

The staff were the friendliest people. Our flight to El Nido was cancelled and then rescheduled and the staff were very accommodating when we needed to change the dates. Also our rescheduled flight meant we arrived at Neela’s at 6am and again the staff were so helpful in letting us check in early which was very much appreciated as we had been travelling the whole night vie plane & bus. Neela Lodge provides breakfast in the morning serving the best American style pancakes I’ve had! so so good! I would 100% stay here again if I come back to El Nido. Location was excellent too, 2 minute walk to the beach and good selection of places to eat nearby. This place also organises trips which helped keep things really simple for us.

For the price paid I was really happy with what Neela Lodge offered, hot water for the shower would be great however it is the Philippines and this seems hard to come by no matter where we go.
