La Plage hotel was a gem of a find, and this was one of the best place I have stayed over many years of travelling around the world. We loved everything there, room was very clean, cozy with outdoor space. The property was right in front of the beach and a great pool is the icing on the cake. Food and drinks all were top notch quality and taste. We spent so much time in there during our stay but it still felt that we could stay there for even few more nights. We walked across the beach and absolutely none of the place come even closer to what this place is, just Amazing!

This place is beautiful and every detail has been thought of carefully. The design is stunning we stayed on the second floor our room was perfect. The staff are fantastic and the bar and restaurants are very good we, on the the beach with stunning views. We had a special taster menu in Taas it was outstanding. This I honestly believe is the best place to stay in El Nido.

I read some of the review on here that say about issues people may of had. I believe this is all nonsense. I question these reviews with the hotel before our stay. The hotel manager responded very honestly and offered my the ability to cancel. We obviously decided not to cancel and we are so glad we didn’t it was simply amazing.

From start to finish we’ve had an amazing experience. Firstly, the photos do not do this place justice - it’s absolutely stunning. It’s in a perfect location, nestled between the hustle and bustle of Vanilla beach and El Nido town. But there’s lots of great bars and restaurants around the area of the hotel. It’s just a lot more chilled in this area which we loved. Highly recommend eating at the hotel, the food was incredible, the wine selection was amazing and their homemade honey rum was our favourite! The staff were incredible. All so polite and really want to go out of their way to help you. For example we had to book an extra night due to a ferry cancellation which wasn’t a problem, and then that day we fell sick and they brought us extra bits and bobs we needed to our room, as well as our dinner and when finding we were sick brought some homemade ginger tea. A massive thank you to all the incredible staff!

Really good area. Quiet beach. No road noise. Near some really good restaurants. 10/10 recommend a tricycle for 100php into town to visit ‘Not so Thai’. Was the best meal we had. Sunset watching and drinks at La Plage restaurant were top notch. We had a day chilling and on the beds and in the pool and it was lush. The room is huge and great set up. We didn’t need housekeeping but always came back from a day out to fresh towels and toilet rolls on the porch which was thoughtful. We loved the amenities and I loved the bed blanket! Finally, a weighted blanket in Philippines haha. Thanks for a great stay!

The mosquitos are worse here than anywhere else we’ve experienced in our 3 weeks of travels. I had 25+ bites on my legs so gear up with the repellent! They do give you a repellent for outside our room, but we was bitten in the room and restaurant. Restaurant lacks easy lunch options like sandwiches / pizza to share if you want a cheap and simple lunch.

Our favourite part was definitely the beachfront pool and bar area, which is epic, especially at sunset. Room is a good size and AC worked well. Room has external ‘lounge’ area with hammock, sofa and chairs, fan and it’s own hot / cold water cooler, which is a massive bonus as water from taps not safe to drink, not even to brush your teeth. King Bed had a firm mattress, and the ‘peach skin’ sheets seemed to be a wee bit too small for the bed. Breakfast choices are a la carte & were included which we initially didn’t realise - we liked the American Breakfast and the Beef Tapa. Restaurant & bar served a nice margarita, and the food was good. We particularly liked the peppered tuna. Tuk tuk into / back from town is a 100 pesos - seems to be a flat rate. (You can find them on the main road or reception can ring one for you) To / from airport we also took a tuk tuk - was 400 pesos total but with 20 kilos each and being on the heavy side, at times, we didn’t think the bike would make it. Lots of dining options nearby: there is a fabulous pizza place and next door at Mahogany resort is a great restaurant Shé (Shay) was a lovely host and the staff at the restaurant/ bar area was very friendly.

Beautifully designed with antique details scattered throughout the property. Complimentary breakfast with a view of the beach every morning was such a luxury. Our personal patio was spacious and private. The rainfall shower head had great pressure and endless hot water. Our stay felt like a luxury accommodation without compromising the charm and authenticity of a remote beach destination in the Philippines.

Truly nothing to lament. I thought the location might be a little far but it was perfectly walkable and MUCH nicer than staying in the main town of El Nido.

The room was more spacious than the pictures depicted and we really enjoyed the hammock and amenities. La Plage is close to the town centre and right on the beach, perfect for sundowners. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the aircon inside the room. Overall this hotel is great value for money!

A few minor things, such as lack of a vegan option for breakfast (but we did not expect to find one here) and a slow running shower, where it seemed the drain would become clogged. We reported this issue to the staff and they attended to it really quickly.

Our stay at La Plage was truly memorable. It's in the perfect location just outside EN town centre, with a wonderful laid-back vibe. The rooms are beautiful, shabby chic. Don't stay here if you're troubled by a very basic loo or a low-power shower, just go with it. Instead you'll benefit from delicious food, very attentive staff, beachfront views and access, a lovely pool area and cool DJ sets Wed-Sat evening to help the cocktails go down while you're watching a mesmerising sunset. Perfect.

Water pressure for the upstairs showers! That's all.

The hotel is just next to the beach and close to the town centre. The interior design was beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches. The big balcony with hammock and water machine was definitely a nice surprise. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast next to the water every morning. All the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Shei who greeted us every day with his lovely smiles and helped us organise the scooter and tours with reasonable prices. It’s a shame we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Overall we are very happy with our stay at the hotel:)

The wifi was a bit slow and the water in the shower was too gentle.
