Initially we had a problem with our hot water in the bathroom. A gentleman named Rio had it fixed in a timely manner. The next morning as we were heading down to the lobby to check out, as soon as the elevator door open, a front desk staff named PJ came to help us with our luggage right away. It was a really nice gesture as my wife and I already had our hands full with the luggages and our 5 year old daughter. As we were waiting for our turn to check out, we were offered complimentary coffee by another staff who I later learned is the GM of the hotel, Eric. Honestly speaking, the building itself was not perfect. However, the location and the view were great. Most importantly, they staff made us feel like we are actually on vacation. We didn’t need to worry about anything else but enjoying our time as a family in this beautiful city.

Our intended 3-night stay at S Resort, nestled in the heart of El Nido, unexpectedly extended to 6 nights due to a typhoon. Throughout this unplanned extension, the hotel staff stood out as true champions. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the exceptional team at S Resort, including Sir Eric, Jayson, Alvin, Remy, Luis, and especially Sky. Their unwavering professionalism and genuine care turned what could have been a stressful experience into a memorable one. Every department, from the dedicated shuttle drivers to the diligent housekeepers, attentive public attendants, vigilant security personnel, and the efficient front desk staff, demonstrated a commitment to excellence. Even the manager (sir Eric) led by example. In addition to the top-notch service, the hotel's central location allowed us to explore the beauty of El Nido, even when our outdoor activities were curtailed by the typhoon. Our extended stay at S Resort was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the exceptional staff who made us feel like family during a challenging time. For an unforgettable stay characterized by excellent service and a central location in El Nido, I highly recommend S Resort. Close to the beach, shops, and restaurants.

No wash cloth, no face towels, no kleenex, no beach towels, and no place to put soap in the shower. Our room is was next to a busy street so It is loud until 10pm.If you sleep earlier than 10pm then ask for a room that is away from the street. Just be aware that tricycles are loud wherever side of the hotel you stay. The screeching sound of the tricycle's break was what bothered me most.

This hotel is located in the heart of El Nido town. It is one of the larger hotels in the town and is a stones throw from the beaches where the boat tours will depart from. You can walk out of the front door to clothing stores, restaurants, bars and massages. The hotel offers tours and massage as well. You can reach Lio Beach and Las Capanas beach in about 10 minutes by Tricycle for roughly 150php at time of writing. The bed was larger than average and there were some space themed pillows on our bed, which my son absolutely loved! The TV had cable channels with more channel availability than any other hotel I've visited in the Philippines. Bathroom is sleek and modern and very comfortable to use. The staff here were friendly and helpful and were always happy to point you in the right direction, even when electing not to use their own in house services. Breakfast and dinner is available in the hotel. These are buffet style at a fixed price per head. We didn't try this however.

Being located in the heart of town has its drawbacks as well. Night time was very noisy, with revelers, clubs and tricycles operating until the early hours. This could make it hard to sleep at times.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of el Nido and within a one minute walk from the beach. Right next to the hotel entrance you can easily book a tricycle for the day, making it easy to visit nearby beaches and activities. Most importantly, all the staff is extremely kind and helpful.

Although being located in the middle of the center was the biggest advantage for us, it also means a lot of noise, which continues all night. Especially the tricycles and nearby cafés were noisy. Luckily we are easy sleepers, but if you’re a difficult sleeper, this might be a problem.

We loved the location of the hotel, was very central, two steps from the beach, although you couldn't really swim in there but the sunset was unbelievable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was extremely helpful, they help us book all of the tour, and the laundry service was just great. The room was clean, and we loved that touch around of the hotel of little animation figures. The view from the terrace is breathless, too. Very good for tour pick up and drop off as the meeting point is literally 2 min walk.

We didn't like much breakfast, loved the view in the morning, but the food wasn't great. This is the reason why I wouldn't rate it 10/10.

This is a wonderful gem in the heart of El Nido town. Surrounded by lovely restaurants & bars. The rooms are clean & comfortable - and the staff are exceptional. They will arrange anything you need, from printing to restaurant bookings. We had the absolute best time here!

The top floor restaurant has a lovely view but I believe it is run by a separate company & although it’s not bad, we chose to eat elsewhere.

Well what an incredible stay we had at S Hotel in El Nido! The reception team (Remy, Sky, Nicole, Val) were absolutely perfect. It was so lovely to receive a personalised warm welcome every time we entered and left the hotel. The team literally could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. I have stayed in many hotels throughout Asia and I am not joking when I say that the service they provide is the best I’ve seen so far! I would highly recommend the boat trip that they do (Package A), ask to go with Richard and his team and you won’t regret it! If you are looking for a place to stay in El Nido, do not hesitate to stay at S resort!

Everything was fab!

The staff at S Resort are EXCEPTIONAL! They went above and beyond to help make our stay memorable. I asked for advice on buying a cake to celebrate my Dad’s birthday and instead of pointing me to the bakery, they arranged the cake and decorations in the room. It was so special! They arranged all of our tours and our transfer back to the airport. Each day we were greeted with a smile. We could not have felt more welcome. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Water pressure was great. The view from the rooftop deck was wonderful!

Street noise is easily heard on the second floor and the street lights shine directly into the room. If possible, ask for a room higher up.
