Its location is excellent. Clean room and yummy-comfy sheets with an awesome view of Manila Bay, plus the elevator being conveniently accessible to our room made our stay perfect. Easy check-in. Staff handled our check-out with so much tact and grace. We opted to extend our stay in the end. Love the multi-purpose soap (was that castile?). Was impressed how we didn't have to struggle with water temp adjustment in the shower, likewise with the aircon, TV, and the Wi-Fi connection. Everything was a breeze! These little things often add stress to our stay in other places. And so, we are simply grateful that these were well thought-out by Hop Inn Ermita to bring the best service to its guests. Plus: 7-11 just beside it. The drinking station by the elevator is accessible 24 hours. They do not provide hotel slippers and robes. But we're happy that the shower room was equipped with a heavy-duty hair dryer. Drinking glasses were provided. The bed provides ample space below it for your luggage. Means were made to maximize the space of the suite, allowing for the basic yet important necessities available, including a safe in the open closet.

Only 1 bedside table. We didn't ask, though. So, we aren't sure if the hotel is flexible on this if we requested another. Noise/Sound from rooms can be heard from the corridor, which made us realize that we can be heard from outside, too, if we aren't mindful. It's not too much of a downside, but we just found it unusual (It can actually be a plus during emergency situations). It is good to note that once inside our suite, we do not hear any sound from the adjacent rooms. Note: No hotel phone in the room. Front Desk/Management is reached via Viber.

The cleanliness is beyond expectation. 24/7 viber and what'sapp channel is opened for assistance to guests instead of intercom phone. It's fantastic. The big enchilada is zero plastic use inside the hotel (even no plastic bag in the trash bin). I totally support hotel's environmentally friendly policy. 7 Eleven store is next to the lobby. This is very convenient for the guests. Hotel location is not very far from the most famous instagrammable spot "Intramuros Spanish-era landmarks". I got there via grab taxi with very cheap fare 142 PHP.

It would be better if a small refrigerator is provided inside the room. But every floor has equipped with hot/cold water dispenser as common use.

Over the course of 3 weeks we stayed at this property. The staff were always super nice and accommodating. If we ever needed anything we could call the front desk or we could use the Whatsapp chat feature. Staff were super quick to come to room if needed. Front desk were always greeting us, and in 3 weeks, we maybe opened the front door 2 times, they were always quick to let us in. The rooms were always super clean, and were great for the price paid. The hotel is only 2 blocks away from Robinson Mall. Stayed here 3 weeks, will be staying here again very shortly.

Wifi was okay and slow at times, but not bad for free wifi. I wish the property had a fridge and microwave in rooms, but not a huge draw back. Sometimes they would forget to fill the soap dispensers, but you could chat them and they would come right up. So overall, no real bad things to say.

Accessible place for public transport and wakable going to restaurants and the bay walk area

We had total of 14 rooms booked and an additional 2 rooms during the stay. This hotel will keep you waiting for checking in. They don't even cake to think of preparing the hotel key card before guest arrives the fact that we checked-in almost 7pm so we ended up waiting too long when you're already exhausted having your domestic flight plus a day trip in Tagaytay. Only one staff at Front Desk to check the group. This hotel is a mess for group check in if they're to do this kind of move.

Clean room. Great customer service by the staff. Excellent security which you can trust. Could even borrow the iron conveniently as I had to iron my shirts for the conference I was attending. The bed was comfortable. The lighting inside the room was warm and sufficient. The overall ambiance and vibe was unforgettable. Place was close to Robinson mall and you really don't even need to visit any other mall.

The dustbin was a bit small. But honestly, this is not even an issue. I think the hotel is 10/10.

Centrally located near malls, restaurants, banks, cafes, shops, heritage sites and many more. Apart from the simple and modern design, the hotel is one of the cleanest I have been in for its level and type in Manila. It is also is encouraging environment friendly practices such instead of standard 2 plastic water bottles in room the give you two empty glass cups which you can refill at a water refill station in the hallway at your room’s floor level. I got a room at the top floor with a window and nice view and the room was located at the corner where it was quiet and not noisy from people passing by the hallway.

The bathroom / shower area floor in my room was not done well so the water from shower does not go directly into drain but stays in the shower area floor until it is cleaned up by room cleaners. This my rating for facilities, and cleanliness and over all is 9 / 10. Apart from this issue, the hotel is still the best one for a budget hotel and I would come and stay again hopeful in a better room.

The first thing you notice about this hotel is that the staff are friendly and welcoming and very keen to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The rooms are quite small but very clean and extremely comfortable. The ocean view from my window was also quite stunning at sunset. The venue provides good security and each floor has a centrally located dispenser for filtered drinking water. The air conditioned rooms themselves come with toilet paper, shampoo, and soap. There are a number of eating places within walking distance and a 7-Eleven convenience store on the ground floor.

The location is a bit out of the way for most of the primary tourist attractions of the area so expect a long walk or catch a Grab or Taxi if you want to visit Rizal Park, Intramuros, or the national museums.

The bed was very comfortable, quite soft which is what I wanted. The room was a reasonable size with a sort of desk/table and chair. There was a safe which was large enough to fit my laptop, and was easy to use. The bathroom had a good mirror and a hairdryer. The shower pressure was good. The wifi was good too. Right next door there is a 7-Eleven, so you can buy breakfast and snacks. The staff were friendly and at check-out they ordered a grab taxi to the airport for me. The journey by taxi from the airport doesn't take too long either, which is a definite plus in Manila. Good value for money.

There weren't many nice cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and not much to do. I walked about 20 minutes to a park. The access to the seafront is approx. 10 minutes walk.

I feel secured with key card as access to the elevator leading to the room accomodations. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean, very relaxing and had a good night rest though we had to check out early to come back to work again 😍 thank you for a good night's rest and for keeping us safe, God bless! ☺️

the drinking glasses inside the rooms were left without cover, we aren't sure if these were even clean; suggest free water bottle considering we are just coming from a pandemic.... so glad we brought our own tumblers. may I suggest if you could offer also rooms on a variable room rate depending on the hours of stay, just like us, we had an all nighter at work but still needs to freshen up and sleep for a few hours and be back by morning. I hope you'll consider my suggestion, I'll be a regular for sure since we often stay late nights during report season. thank you so much!

The room is cleaned regularly during stay. Sheets, towels and tissues were replenished each night. The hotel is very secure with security guards and front desk staff available 24/7. Elevators and rooms are secured with their smart cards. Minimal toiletries are provided although the staff informs you before your stay. There is a 7/11 next to the hotel, for any needed supplies to buy.

Wi-Fi was spotty. Great for getting a bit of work done but might not be reliable for a day's work. Room lighting was a bit dark for our tastes although not a huge dealbreaker. Individual rooms don't have a phone line. If you need to get in touch with front desk, you will need to go out to the elevator area to call, or might as well go down the elevator to reach them directly. I extended my stay via Booking.com but it didn't reflect immediately on the hotel's system. I am not sure if that was an issue on Booking or on the hotel, but putting it here regardless.
