The hotel is right on the beach. Rooms are a little bit further back so they are quiet. The pool is nicely shaded with trees and shrubs.

Breakfast choices were limited, and of moderate quality. Best thing about it was the view of the beach and sea.

Perfect location, not that big but really nice green territory, lovely eco style interior, like you are living in a little hidden paradise. Welcoming and helpful stuff. Good cafe with great live music and I didn’t mind the noise, it was not until too late.

Room cleaning was not often and not that good, we had to deal with a sand on the floor for few days, that was a little uncomfortable..

Excellent location! Nice breakfast every morning and helpful staff

Beds aren’t super comfortable and the rooms are basic, but it’s fine for what it is!

Located right in the heart of Alona Beach. Restaurant had an extensive menu of both Filipino and Western foods on offer, prices were comparable. A band played every night. Located right on the beach so easy access. Staff were so friendly and professional. Rooms including the bathroom were spacious, nice layout. Wifi was strong

Nothing comes to mind

Alona Vida's staff were all very friendly and accomodating. They helped us arrange many different tours and activities. The location of the place was convenient for Alona Beach (though Alona Beach itself was a bit meh, I recommend swimming somewhere else) and the rooms were quite spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities.

Unfortunately, there was some on going construction and the noise could be a little distracting and because it was by the pool, it deterred us from using it. It would've been nice if we had known this ahead of time. Sometimes service for breakfast was a little slow.

The resort is right on Alona beach, so you're 10 meters away from the sea. The room was clean and nice, the bed comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water. They provide towels and toiletries. Breakfast was alright. They have live music every night; I was actually surprised by the quality of the band on Friday night, while Saturday night was average and Sunday night below average. The last 100 meters before you reach the hotel are not paved (it's sand), so you may have problems dragging a heavy luggage. You can contact the staff and they'll help you.

The internet connection could be better, but I guess that's a Panglao problem, not a hotel problem. The food and drinks were a bit overpriced compared to other cafes and restaurants nearby but not dramatically so. The main feedback I have for the hotel is that the breakfast takes an inordinate amount of time (39 minutes to receive scrambled eggs), and that may cause people to miss one's flight or to skip a breakfast that is being cooked.

Excellent stay, i must say. If you want to be treated as part of family this is best place to stay. Mr. Ali, the owner, though he never met me, was very flexible and kind to refund one night as i had to leave early due to work commitments. I am sure no other 5 star resort would have put their toes into my shoes and understood my problem. Mr Ali was not obliged to refund me but he did out of courtesy. Staff were also very welcoming on arrival and all throughout the stay. I had surgery in my knee and couldn't climb stairs. Reception was very helpful and gave me room on ground floor.

Excellent service, very hygienic, neat and clean room.

Five different breakfast options, so there's definitely something for everybody. Location at Alona Beach is very nice, the only missing thing is lying chairs. The beach in front of Hennan Resort is a bit nicer and accessible for external guests, so we mostly went there.

Lying chairs would be nice, so the towels aren't on the "naked" beach and thus you can avoid the dogs sniffing them. The music at the bar ends at 11pm, could have it till 12pm/1am, but of course also nice that after 11pm it's very quite at the hotel, you can't have both.

friendly little typical philippines beach resort with an excellent bar, a good kitchen and great life band music (unexpected). All wishes or needs were met professionally with a smile. The pool is good if not occupied for the whole day by philippino families and a lot of children (see below). Swimming in the sea possible. Beside the Henan Hotel (International Standard) the Beach Resort is the best at that beach. Several Dive Centers within a couple of meters. Made good experience with the Dive shop next door Sierra Madre Divers. Beside the Resort Resto the Hayahay is recommendable.

Unfortunately we had a room at the pool. Actually a great location. But every day 2 local families and their very noisy kids occupied the pool sometimes from 6:30am in the morning and sometimes even after 10pm. While the band stopped always at 11pm and was never uncomfortably loud the families were quite disturbing. My Partner and me have kids ourself who love to play in the pool but we respect the indicated opening and closing hours. The promanade along the beach connecting the resorts, shops and restos is in unacceptable rocky conditions. The Biz Owners along the Promenade shoud urge the city to make Alona beach really attractive by an appealing appearance and not by dangerous stumbling traps of a walk way on the level of a slum.

I like about how close it was to the Beach, one of the perks one will get from this Hotel. Restaurants are just around the corner, ATM's and convenience stores are of easy access as well. And the staffs were all very friendly, nice and helpful.

I would say the food at the restaurant, I didn't order everything on the menu, but the food that I had were mediocre for it's price. I was expecting a little more considering I ordered an asian dish and a simple pasta. I am not sure of the rest from the menu, since I did not eat at the restaurant again. 😔
