Very accommodating and friendly staff. Location was right in front of the beach.

Fresh sea food menu is very expensive. It’s too much.

For very nice yet affordable accomodations right on Alona Beach, Hayahay is the place to stay. There are two locations near each other, and at the newer one the rooms are on the small side but remarkably well deigned and furnished, and each has it's own little outside sitting area. Hayahay is really a bargain at the price. Newly renovated, with a friendly and helpful staff; if we go back I would happily stay there again.

I cannot think of a complaint. If you can, stay on the top floor, as there is lots of outside space and a great view, and more privacy in and outside of the rooms.

Wish the aircon was cooler (coolest setting). Bed was ok but could be better. As a beach front accommodation, an area with running water to wash off the sand on our feet before going to the room (not a small bucket where everyone dip their feet) would be necessary.

The location was perfect because it was beach front.

We booked 3 rooms and we were surprised upon arrival that 1 room was separated from the others. It was in a different building. We asked to transfer to the new building to be with the other 2 rooms we booked but they said they were full. But the rooms were vacant until we checked out the next day.

it is at beach front so the location is perfect. Room is very big. They have a bidets, great! Credits to the helpful staff who carried our luggages to the hotel. The food is also nice.

The water closet is too high as it is sitting on a pedestal. So for a 5’0” like me, my legs are hanging and swaying from the floor. They don’t have slippers inside. You have to buy from them at 120 pesos. No kettles also. You will need to request from the reception for a warm water.

The location is at the farther end of the beach, so it's quiet. The entry into the rooms is just past the beach-front restaurant which is totally fine. Means you're a few walks away from the shore! Also means it's not noisy in the evening. Room was new and clean.:)

I really liked the location right by the beach. It was a hike to get there from the nearest parking lot but it was worth it! I enjoyed the design of the rooms with the little outside setting area.

The hot water maker didn't really work, but the on the wall instant electric ones rarely do. At least it was there which is more than in some other hotels I stayed at in the Philippines!

The staff are excellent, the resort is right on the beach so having meals on the beach was really great. It has a very good and large menu so finding something to eat was not an issue. The room was big and the hot water shower was a nice surprise

Great location - right on the beach front. Clean, comfortable accommodation with good amenities.

Only problem was the water in the shower kept going hot and cold.

Its a beach front hotel. What we love most. Everything, from the hotel desk clerk to hotel servant. It‘s worth every single penny and a familie friendly hotel.
