The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable with good linen and very comfortable pillows. The bathroom was a nice size with a good complementary utility kit. The shower was clean and functional with nice warm water, which is important to a European.

This is a tough one. If I were to pick anything, then perhaps the lack of a refrigerator in the room would be an issue to some people on longer stays although, it wasn't for us on our short stay.

Since I don’t drive and rely on friends with car it is a good location and accessible.

The breakfast was okay it was not hot when a guest goes in between 08-0930. They need to tell the guests that gates are closed at midnight and that security is present. So first night I came home at 0200 the gate was close and the lights were turned off.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is a model for others emulate - very friendly and professional.

Parking. There is no assigned parking spot; ergo, is first come first served. There may be a total of eight identifiable spots, and that’s it. Best to park vehicle for the duration of your stay and either take a trike or walk to your destination.

I LOVED everything except the breakfast. We stayed in a triple room with a complimentary breakfast for 2pax only so me as the 3rd guest paid extra for it which I don't recommend or better yet, ask the reception first what breakfast will be served during your stay and then decide if you will avail. I highly recommend the hotel, but skip paying extra for their breakfast.

Paid extra 600 pesos for 2 morning buffet breakfast (room breakfast good for 2pax only) which was not worth it for me since choices were too limited and could be better that we always order and pay for extra food viand. Also, credit card payment not working due to technical issues (system down) at the time we stayed, a tiny bit of a hassle since I dont have enough cash that moment and we have to settle the bill first before we could checkin. But to be clear, it was not the fault of the Hotel.

Nice clean and comfortable accommodation. Quiet. Has a nice cafe and a restaurant with more limited hours. Good breakfast buffet. Lots of pillows, thick Nd fluffy. Nice mattress. Hot water in the shower and a sliding door to keep the floor of the toilet area dry. Good aircon.

It would be nice to have a refrigerator.

The Location is excellent... The aesthetic of the place is just beautiful and very homey They respond immediately to requests like Ice and hot water

Had approached the front desk since there is no dial tone on our telephone line. Was advised that they will check on it. But no one came. We had to go down to the front desk everytime we asked for hot water and Ice since surprisingly they didn't have a kettle in a twin bed room. No Bidet in the restroom

We like the unique old style house, garden out front to sit and enjoy and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is convenient to have the restaurant next door with value for money with generous portions in a relaxing environment. It is our go to hotel when in Tacloban. I have lost count of how many times we have been here now.

The charm and lore of the building

The bedroom was great, the bathroom was rough, clogged hairy drain, mold in the grout kinda grossed me out, even though I tried not to expect much for the price it was hard to look at.

The rate was good, the location, staff, food is excellent

Well, I noticed that there were mosquitoes inside the room and a certain bug was crawling on the floor. I hope this will give an alarm for housekeeping to make sure customers won't find these unexpected visitors in the rooms.

This hotel can easily access stores that are vital for the family with kids, such as Pharmacy for the kid's medicines, shops for emergency needs and restaurant for variety of food options.

The parking is so limited. The safety and security of your car depends solely on the public security as the car may be parked on the public street.
